Magic Babe Ning suspends product in mid air! Amazingly light!

Talking about levitation, ask me and I can teach you how to do the self levitation trick (kinda learnt it from some Youtube vids during one of my nothing-to-do days. lolx~).

But if you ask me how to levitate an object like this ▼▼▼ video performed by Magic Babe Ning, I seriously have no idea!!~~

<iframe allowfullscreen="" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/pF0wRw8CgaQ" frameborder="0" height="315" width="560"></iframe>

I been thinking of how object levitation works and even goggle for answers but to no avail (or that most of them are talking about consciousness which I don't really understand how it works).
I guess probably the object is REALLY so amazingly light that it can float around just by wiggling fingers in the air. hahahx~ (^o^)/<i>*wiggles fingers*

</i>If you like this video, Share it!~

Till then! Cheers! (●♡●)

Weapon for zombies? Pick ELLIS FAAS

With the zombies coming soon on this Saturday @ Orchard, you might need some 'Bullets' for protection if you're going down town...

And you need a BUNCH of them...

Joke aside, these cute bullet-like pens are actually Lipgloss, Lipsticks, Eyeliners, created by ELLIS FAAS.

An awesome idea of how to hold all your cosmetics in a holder like so. Interesting much? ^_^

How to work the Clips

<iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/44875328?title=0&byline=0&portrait=0" webkitallowfullscreen="" mozallowfullscreen="" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="400" width="700"> </iframe></p>

Saw that their price range is around USD$30 & up, not too ex eh?
Actually Ellis Faas was already launched in Singapore since earlier this year. (See Andy Lee Makeup for more)

I would really like to collect a set of Ellis Faas, probably buying 1-2 pens at a time... SLOWLY.. and then the holder. ^^
I think it's pretty fun to own one of this! I can shoot zombies wiz it! Lolx~

Till then! Cheers! (●♡●)

So, have you LOL when you watched the video? Well, I did. Its like so funny! XD~kakakaka~ Apparently, also laughing at myself because I like using photoshop too to PS (shortform of photoshop) photos. kekekx~

What I normally do with Photoshop:
Usually I would bring up the levels and curves to make the picture brighter and adjust contrast/vibrance to make the colours look more lively and vibrant, as my photos are often too dull or taken in low lit room.
When it comes to PSing a person, I'll usually focus on the face first (ie, wrinkles, ance, pimples, etc) then the shadows. Harsh shadows on the face will make the face look distorted and somehow look old too so i will reduce the shadows accordingly to my preference.
That is also why the reason pro photographers use so many lightings! So that no harsh shadows are seen on any part of your face, this will then make your face look realllllllly smooth and young!

Photo Manipulation:
I also do photo manipulation. Not very frequent but its really fun to do so when I have the heart to do it. Eventually, the photo will turn out to be non-realistic or half realistic, its like a masterpiece work of art. kkekex.. I usually do it for cosplay photos (Like THIS) but sometimes I will have a 'lightbulb' on a certain subject and then I'll do it too. Just like THIS.
Its unlike phone applications where you can just add effects and add in ribbons or glasses and stuffs and VIOLA! Apps are pretty standard, many people can have the same effect as yours if they use the same app, but NOT for photoshop.
Using photoshop to do photo manipulation is so much more tiring than using the apps (of course! =p), everything is basically starting from scratch. You do not have ready lighting effects nor ready made ribbons for you to use. You need to search for pictures, edit them to your liking, or even start by drawing one. Every button in photoshop can create different effects to your photo. And you need to keep layering and layering and layering to add in more effects to make your photo look nicer.
There was a saying that "In this world, there will not be a 2nd person who will create the exact same effects as yours." And that is why Photoshop is a Wonder. ^_^

Despite that this video is trying to make fun of people who uses photoshop, it still won't stop the world from using it.
I believe Photoshop had to be one of the best program ever made in earth. Lolx~ XD~

So, what are your thoughts about Fotoshop or Photoshop? ^.^

Product Review: Sunsilk Weather Defense Haircare (Video) ~ Sunsilk Bloggers Event

Last month July, TheSampleStore invited me to the Sunsilk Weather Defense Bloggers event. It was held at Ben & Jerry's @ Heeren.
Why outdoors you say? Because the Sunsilk organising team think that it suits their theme "Weather Proof Your Hair". So they want to know how weather proof OUR hair are (ie, against Summer Sun, wind, etc). hahahax..

♥♥♥ TIPS in taking video
If I am the employer, I would most preferably like to see the following things in a video resume:

1. Fun to watch - Any successful videos are made with 'FUN' factor inside it. If there is no Fun, the viewers get bored!
2. Da BOMBX - Every video has a part where things get really exciting. Be it being what you say, or what you do, no matter what it is, there must be a 'BOMBX!' time where viewers will go "OOoooohhh~~~" & *wide eyes*
3. Visuals - It can be playing around with animations/graphics or things/background that move (besides your mouth & body). Because higher percentage of all the humans in this world are VISUAL learners. Hence it is important to give visual aids to viewers, making them being able to absorb what you say or show in the video.
4. Auditory - And Auditory comes in 2nd after visual. So its also important for the video to produce clear sound and at times if required, to play some music or sound effects. (That is always why the reason subtitles given because most people absorb faster by reading than they could by listening)
5. Something Extraordinary - Simply said, the X Factor. For every candidates, they should equip with an addtional skill that even though the company do not require their employees to have but it would be fun to know of.

And that's mainly all that I would like a video resume to contain! ^___^ Hope you, as a candidate will make better videos after marking down these tips!

Vote for your favourite Visume HERE!!! (I have seen a few nice vids, have you? ^^)

A sample of a vid that catch my attention (visually) is THIS by Julian Tay. There is still alot of room for improvement even though it is visually nice to watch! Reason because I still find the vid somewhat "Dry", it lack of the BOMBX I mentioned in my Tips. His X Factor is playing guitar, perhaps he could have played a short song and make an animated clip at the background or something.. (Ok ok, I'm getting too far off! Lolx~)
Just let your imagination run WILD! You are here to WIN PRIZES (& get hired lolx~)! ^o^

miwitch's Video Style Product Review: Bioré Hydra-Clear Makeup Remover

Few days ago I already posted my review for Biore remover, this time round, I'm going VIDEO STYLE!

I got excited when I receive a request from BeautyMap to do a video of it. SOOOooo excited that I actually told them my palms are sweating! I don't do videos at all so I almost freak out upon getting that request.

BUT, in another way I think its fun too. Probably once i get used to videos, I will keep on posting vids instead of pics.. =p (lazy ah... and when I get darn lazy than this, I'll start to talk in the vid.. ^_^")

So... this is my FIRST EVER VIDEO (self shoot, self made), a totally new idea of how to review a remover! SOoOoo wacky that you guys probably would laugh at me, but DON'T LAUGH! hahahax....~ (right, i'm laughing at myself)
This video is super long... 6mins+! (its more like a tutorial than a review! =_=" *sweats*) And took me 2 hours to shoot cos my cam ran out of battery, SD card ran out of space... I kept running back to my comp to upload the vids so I can take more. What an experience for my first time huh? =_="

<object height="385" width="480" data="http://www.youtube.com/v/6Xg5wdV479Q?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"> <param name="data" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/6Xg5wdV479Q?fs=1&hl=en_US" /> <param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /> <param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /> <param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/6Xg5wdV479Q?fs=1&hl=en_US" /> <param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /> </object>

FRANKLY.... speaking, The review vid is NOT really my first vid.. THIS IS!
I made this vid as I was trying out the new DLed Windows Movie Maker. This vid definitely is nicer!
You got handsome cat and pretty dog to see, what else do you want more? o_O

<object height="385" width="480" data="http://www.youtube.com/v/pQs8Wiyz9jY?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"> <param name="data" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/pQs8Wiyz9jY?fs=1&hl=en_US" /> <param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /> <param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /> <param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/pQs8Wiyz9jY?fs=1&hl=en_US" /> <param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /> </object></p>

Something funny happened @ 00:30.. SPOT IT! ^.^

Product names written and coloured in turquoise were given by its company to me for trial.
