Continued from my previous post Part 2 HERE..... I met up with my friend, Di (who happen to also visit Japan almost same timing as mine) target to visit Shibuya, Harajuku, Yoyogi and flea market.
[edited 12 Jul 2012: I had just added some more pictures and details of the stuffs I 'd bought! ^^v~] First stop was Shibuya. Di quoted from her bro-in-law that if you didn't take a photo of the iconic spot of the place, means you never went there before. And so~~~ we MUST take this statue of Hachiko (忠犬ハチ公像) to prove that we were here! hahahx~
I recently received a Rohto-Mentholatum Mogitate Kajitsu series Lip balm from The Sample Store. Before I begin, hereby showing you a CM of the Mogitate Kajitsu series Lip Balm by KAT-TUN!!! ~KYAAaa~~ ♥ How lovely~~~~ \\(@w@)// *watery puppy eyes*
Mentholatum Mogitate Kajitsu with Real, Natural Fruit Juice & Honey# 1 Bestselling Lipbalm Brand in Japan
Mogitate Kajitsu is made with Fresh Fruit Juice which contains essential minerals and vitamins that are beneficial to the lips and body. It also contains Honey, which heals and renews the lips. With Mentholatum Mogitate Kajitsu lip balms, now you can get Real, Natural Fruity Goodness to nourish your lips and make it soft, supple and oh-so-kissable!
The goodness of it: Natural Fruit Juice, Honey, Bee Wax, Squalene, Grape Seed Oil, Vitamin A and E and lastly, it has UV Protection!
Not sure is it my luck? I gotten the Rohto-Mentholatum Mogitate Kajitsu Lip Balm in Orange and Mango one!!! YEAH! (instead of strawberry or other kinds.. u know i hate anything berries! ^.^")
Review: - Easy to glide onto lips - Using the lip balm alone, make the lips look slightly glossy~ - Smells more like orange than mango - It's good for my daily lip moisturising maintenance - A tad oily, hence the pigments of my lipstick is not able to grab onto my lips as the lip balm creates a barrier inbetween them. I will need to apply a few times more before my lipstick colour shows up - I also use this over a lipstick when I feel my lips are rather dry from wearing the lipstick too long, it makes my lipstick looks slightly gloss and makes my lips look softer - I like to apply lipbalm immediately after my foundation, realise that the white residues appear on my lips as those are some of the foundation accidentally applied onto my lips. Need to tissue off the whole lips before applying the lip balm again. - I only use this balm for day use before my lipstick or gloss as I have another lip gel that I use at night for intensive lip care purpose - For very dry crack lips, its advisible to not use this balm over the crack lips, as this is not moisturising enough to soften the dead skin - I have trouble of turning the product back to its base now, as it got stuck in that same protruding position after my first use. (Frustrating everytime a lipbalm or lipstick does this!) So after I use it, I push the stick against my lips & get the balm back to its base position. hahax~ ^⌂^"
Overall, this is a good lip balm which i will bring along with me anywhere I go. I love using both lip balms and lipsticks as I have dry lips plus pigmented lips. ^_^" I can have like 1 lipbalm in 1 bag, so I do not need to move around the lip balms from bag to bag! lolx~ >∇<
♥♥♥ Lip Balms, the more the merrier!!! ♥♥♥ Below shoes my moisturised lips with Rohto-Mentholatum Mogitate Kajitsu Lip Balm (Orange & Mango), top with my Lavshuca lipstick in PK-7!
Should I pose like KAT-TUN, open the cap and sniff it in flowery boy poses... and draw hearts flooding out of the lip balm? kekkex~
WHERE TO BUY? The Mentholatum Mojitate Kajitsu (Fresh Fruits) Lipbalms retail at $5.90 each exclusively at all Watsons stores. It comes in FIVE different flavours, which are Lemon & Lime, White Peach, Strawberry Grape & BerryandOrange & Mango!!!!
Today, I'm gonna do things that concern with eyessss..... Yah, and you probably might freak out looking at my scary blood shot eyessssss.. I can SHOOT blood from these eyes I tell you! (◈_◈) phtzzzzzzzzz~~~~ splat~ splat~~ splaaaahhhhttt~~~
FYI: My lashes are very little, very thin, moderate length, sparse and uh... very thin.
1st pic: Lashes without any primer/clear mascara, curled using Shiseido lash curler. Look as if I got no lash there! =_=" 2nd & 3rd pic: 1 coat of mascara. I applied by stroking in upwards motion, zigzap at the roots, then stroke downwards, and lastly upwards again. 4th pic: 2nd coat of mascara for both eyes using same method as above.
Comparison of the 2 mascaras: I prefer KissMe Heroine's (credits:http://kimoko.livejournal.com) applicator (brush head). The bristles are wonderful to work with! I find the bristles are so fine, they get in between every lashes (i know i got like 7, 8, hm.. uh.. 9 lashes only!) and minimum clumps found! From the pic, I see both mascaras lengthed very well with just 1 coat. On the 2nd coat, my Fasio side starts to clump at the roots and the content already stained my lids, while Heroine's side didn't stain or clump that badly. However, both did make my lashes a little bit more thicker.
Conclusion: I prefer KissMe Heroine Mascara now as I just simply love the applicator, how easy it is to apply the brush to my lashes without staining my lids. I also love how easy it gets around my lashes at the inner & outer corner of my eyes. Those places are super hard to reach. If you can see carefully, the fasio side has a few untouched lashes (about 2 strands?) at the inner corner. Its rather hard for the applicator to reach there so I usually just leave it.
Sorry that I could not do this test on the lower lashes because I have zero little of it!
Rohto-Mentholatum Mogitate Kajitsu series Lip balms (old version) were long ago endorsed by Kat-tun (Japan boy band). As most of you already knew, The Sample Store (rebranded from Fr3b) distributed many newly launched Mentholatum lipbalms to bloggers for review. (If you didn't get, don't kill me! hahax.. =p)
I just can't wait to test them since its rated as "#1 Bestselling Lipbalm Brand in Japan!" Hence, I will TEST first, before I talk more about them... ^.^ And now..... dadadadadadadadada dum...dum.................
Mentholatum Deep Moist & Mogitate Kajitsu Lip Balm: Put to the Test! Using Mavala dark plum lipstick, I'll be able to show you girls visibly how my lip-llines & chapped lips look like...... on paper. Picture speaks a thousand words..... so I'll speak lesser. =X
I had not long ago came across Rohto Eye Drops (just a month back only). Immediately, I was attracted to one of the range: ROHTO COOL (Redness Relief) which was also used by Michelle Phan. You can see her vid in the Rohto site too: http://www.myrohto.com
I've seen raves and reviews and saying how good it was, I was so willing to try it! I'd looked over the internet to find a local source or spree but most of them are only taking in the Japan version of Rohto eye drops, currently popular one is the Lychee (so the eyedrop will taste like lychee? ^_^")
But I'm only interested in US version, so I intend to go to buy it from Ebay.
I bought from this Ebay seller: http://myworld.ebay.com.sg/sokopovo/ He was selling the Rohto eye drop in a pack of 3s, which I think is more worth to get it. (Actual LINK) Price is US$16.90 for 3packs, shipping to Singapore was $6.99 (however no tracking), total convert to SGD was $34.14. After calculation, each pack is about SGD$11.38. Not bad eh~
