Daily Dressup Shots

While everyone is enjoying their Halloween night in gore makeup, ghostly costume and taking scary photos at Orchard, I, was sick & working, and I sat silently infront of my computer photoshopping my cosplay pics.... sigh~ What a quiet Halloween for me this year! ~_~"

2 months ago, I had a Solo photoshoot of my Sailor Pluto cosplay. I'd been thinking for quite sometime after last year Dec's Sailor team battle suit cosplay at AFA X to do a solo shoot because I think I always have badly taken photos and had to go through alot of processing inorder for it to look decent to the public eyes... ^_^" So, a solo photoshoot means I'll have more nice pics to keep as memory! =D
Anyways, this solo photoshoot turned out GREAT! Though I expected more like, taking at the rooftop, doing laying down, kneeing, sleeping poses.
But: 1) the rooftop door is locked because of that corpse in water tank issue. -_-" 2) It was drizzling ~_~""" 3) I was terribly slow in dressing up, only started shooting at around 7pm.
Nevertheless, I still end up with nice photos thanks to my beloved photographer friends, Juliana & Valefor. Not forgetting Jane & her hubby and finally Noshuu (my dear Sailor Jupiter) who lend me her tiara (green gem but I PSed to magenta) cos I forgotten where I put mine! Without all of them, this will not be a successful photoshoot! ~\(^o^)/~

Sailor Pluto Portraits
All are taken by Juliana, and edits by her! (I think she did something to my face, cos I see no wrinkles!) She purposely stood ontop of a concrete platform cos she knows I like taking pics from top down! hahax~ XD~

Spend some hours today working on this portrait.. I couldn't find a photo with the same pose so I picked an appropriate one from the lot to plant into this artwork. Look at the 2 pics, talking about me being too thin?... the original Sailor Pluto is SKELETON! lolx~
I think I look really stun all the way for this photoshoot.. And if you notice, shadows appeared at below my cheekbones. I think I clenched my teeth too much cos I am afraid to laugh and form laugh lines...

Remembering the old times.... Sailormoon was & still is my favourite manga, anime, playing cards & toys!! But I din own any toys cos I can't afford it then. I only touched the toy packagings at toy stores. =p I bet they are even more expensive to buy now eh..?

HAPPY (belated) NATIONAL DAY!!! ~*~*~*~*\(^.^)/*~*~*~*~

Finally today, I got to do a LOTD (got some spare time after I return home from my early morning work). The idea came to me when I was taking a photo of my current hair colour. My brown dyed hair got so washed out that my colleagues said I look like a girl with old lady hair. Lolx.. I'mma 白发魔女-White hair demon queen. kekekx~ But I prefer to say myself as a 银发巫女-Silver hair witch girl! Got it? miwitch, so I'm a witch! *lame* =p~

Anyhoo, here's a closeup pic of my LOTD. But of course, I do not own a flawless face. I purposely blurred this pic so it won't scare you. Lolx..
I also bring up the contrast and brightness as it was taken in evening where the sun is almost down, and all my pics appeared rather dark. However, I did not PS my hair colour, it was like this when I took it. ^^ Doesn't it look like as if I'm wearing a whitish-silver wig? hehehx..~ Gosh, seeing this, makes me miss cosplaying so much~ T^T"

My current hair colour.. My face look pale if I don't put any eyeliner/blush/lippy..

My theme today is "KPOP WANNABE" (kinda like, 4 Minute/ 2NE1?? ^^")
The look's not inspired by any Kpop artistes' individual makeup but inspired by staring at my Carribean Sleek palatte! lolx~
Its been ages since I use bright colours on LOTD and my skills went down the drain as well cos I hadn't been doing alot of eye MU. I only went out once in a blue moon with friends but always ends up with very simple or disastrous eye MU =_="

Brief description of how I do my KPOP WANNABE LOTD:
1. Put eyeshadow highlights below eyebrow, inner corner of eyes, under eye area(near cheek bones) & tip of nose
2. Roughly putting up all the colours I want on my lid, trying to balance both shapes first
3. Add in darker shade of eyeshadow at creaseline (stops half way)
4. Start blending the e/s colours, and add in more layers of e/s when need be
5. Put on false upper eyelashes, then line along tip of lashes thickly and fill up tightline with black eyeliner
6. Draw outer waterline with black eyeliner and then, inner waterline with bright silver liner
7. Put on flase lower eyelashes
8. Add in e/s colours underneath lower lashes to complete the look

I loves drawing black eyeliner around my eyes~ ^_^ It makes my eyes look big & dolly and my whites look whiter!
Below, I find my inner waterline TOO SHINY..

So I went to overlay the silver with a thin black liner. Hmm.... *So which one looks better??? Above pic or below pic?*
An amateur artist at work.. Lolx~ Realise I always have difficulty in balancing the 2 sides and in drawing at creaselines. Blame it on my imbalance double eyelids and eyebrow? BLAH~ But nvm, I have my bangs to hide them. (Play cheat!) hehehx~ But anyways, I promise to keep practising whenever I have time!

K-Palette #02 is the lightest shade but it appearl darker than Majolica Majorca Eyebrow Customize #BR782. It is more towards greenish medium brown, where MM is yellow-orangey brown.

Last month, I received a Maybelline Eyestudio HyperSharp Liner Limited Edition Press Kit from Maybelline. I'm here to review this eyeliner today and now I'm getting rather excited already! I'll tell you why in a while ^^

An anime eye drawn freehand, using Maybelline Hypersharp Liner, and the artwork (at end of the eye) drawn using template.
As you can see from the pics, the artwork I drew using template bleeds at the outlines. Wherelse the freehand drawing doesn't. Anyways, I prefer to draw artwork without any templates.. ^^"
Bottom of this pic shows immediately after I drew the eye and artwork, I pressed a tissue against it and it got transferred over, however the original is still intact.

Maybelline Eyestudio HyperSharp Liner Review
Now I explain why I was excited about this blog post because I wanted to tell everyone that this liner doesn't SMUDGE!!!~
I used it on several occasions and usually I like to draw it only on the upper eyelid rather than waterline because I always find that liquid liner doesn't stay on my waterline. It either smudge or it got washed off (like totally gone! WHOOSH!) by my tears (I tear very easily). But this liner, proves me wrong.
During my first swatch of HyperSharp liner at a Guardian store, I wasn't attracted by its black tone. Although they mentioned it's blackest black but it look almost like dark grey or a faint black when I swatched it.
Nevertheless, I had to thank Maybelline for sending this press kit to me, in a way giving me another chance to try the liner again.
I must say, this liner has done its job well by proving to me that it can stay stain & smudge free. And I usually do not doubt about its water proof factor when any eyeliners state that they are water proof. ^^
Back to the blackest black topic, I now find that my liner delivers me just, BLACK. It doesn't look VERY black like what they said but it is at least not a faint black like the swatch I did the first time. Perhaps, the sample at the Guardian store was kinda used up? ^_^" Oh well, at least I am contented with my own liner now, so no more complaints! =D
In addition, the liner is really sharp and its very soft too! I do not feel any itch when drawing it near tightline and waterline, or otherwise I will tear! This liner is so smooth and soft to draw with, I have fun using it to do artwork on my eyes. Lolx~ Seriously, just like what they are promoting, ARTWORK with Hypersharp Liner! kekkex.. (I mean REALLY, Seriously, no joke. '_')

I wanted to get Mascara for volume, and I was standing there in Watsons, walk in circles to see the Fasio, then MMajorca, then Maybelline, and digging out the content to see..
Wanted to try all but I only have 2 eyes!

I had tried Magnum Volum' Express earlier on, on top of my regular MMajorca mascara when I was at Tampines mall Maybelline show.
Not bad! The brush was quite good. However my lash curler was out of batt so I couldn't recurl my lashes to know if they will stay curled after that..

Fasio one however doesn't look like the brush had any mascara content at all. Its looked far too neat for a mascara.. hahax..

While MMajorca's & Maybelline's were very creamy and full of content.

I am almost dying to buy one mascara to volume up my lashes! Pls tell me which to get! >o<
If I remember correctly, the prices are Fasio: $22.90, MMajorca: $25.90 (as per given by MM workshop), Maybelline: $18.90 (Cheap!)
