It's been a LLLLOOOOOOoooonnnngggg time since I posted my collective haul! I been extremely busy with work and I hardly could find time to sit at home and do a proper haul post. (U_U")

It's also been a LONG time since I last purchase anything from GMarket SG, especially fashion related stuffs. ^^"
I had been spending my money sparingly only on cosmetics and beauty products cos I felt that I need to save $ to spend in Japan, until..... recently, I couldn't hold it any longer and I started to splurg my $ on GMarket SG & GMarket Global website. Muahahax..~ =p~
My stupid reason to this crazy splurge is because I want to wear nice clothes to Japan. GMarket also offer better deals and clothes that fits me (because koreans are bigger size than japanese) AND Korean cosmetics are SOOOooooo dirt cheap! Alright, enough of my nonsence, here are my haul for this month. Uh hum... AND MORE TO COME later after this haul post! (>▽<)

Clothes & Bag Haul

Navy Chiffon Blouse (Fsize) $33.90 +$4.90 shipping: From Seller MAKMAKS
Although the items from this seller is alittle bit on the high side, but their quality are GOOOOODDD! I absolutely love this blouse but kinda sad that because I'm of a bigger built (I'm actually a M size), the blouse shoulder width feels slightly tight on me. Other than that, I have no complains :) Oh! And I love that GOLD buttons! Its very pretty!

Frill Trench Coat (F size, Camel) $45 + $4.55: From Seller MAKMAKS
This is my first trench coat I think I'd ever bought. The fabric is of suede-like kind, kinda expected for a trench coat. The sleeves are very long for a F size coat but it suits my long arms (hahax~ =D). Only thing I dislike is that it creases easily. =\ Gosh, I hate ironing clothes =_=

Bally Double Breasted Jacket (66 size) $36 + $4.55: From Seller MAKMAKS
The fabric is great with perfect inner lining, sleeves are long but its a tad loose on me, I picked the largest size cos I'm afraid that the sleeves aren't long enough for me. I love the 2-way button design, it allows me to either button left ontop of right or right on left. It also has an additional button on one of the inner flap too!

Skull pot drawstring bag $17.90 +$7.80 shipping: From seller LULUBAG
I had spotted this bag at a physical store before and they sold it at $39.90. I wanted to buy but realised the material wasn't really worth that price. On spotting this same design bag on GMarket along with good reviews, I decide to purchase it at price of $25.70 inclusive shipping.
Back of my mind tells me not to expect it to be THAT good, but when I receive the bag, I was very happy. :D
Its made of good medium hard material with good quality fabric lining. The seller also include a free matching scarf for the bag I purchased too! Totally ♥ it!

Next I want to introduce this shop name LALU.
The store that I went was at Liang Court, a pretty big shop. Their collections are categorised by shades and colours, each design often have more than 1 colour.

I like the concept of their interior design, which is inspired by the rustic mood of the 80s.

Just saw that LALU is having a moving out sale at Marina Square, sale up to 70%! Ends at 6 May. I hope i got time to drop by there to get some good deals! ^_^

I was looking for skirts and I found 2 which I like at LALU.

GMarket Global Simple Walkthrough

I got a few overseas readers asked me where I bought my Korean beauty stuffs (actually they are CP by my friend who went korea ^^v) and I usually recommend them to GMarket SG as some of the sellers in GMarket SG are willing to ship overseas besides Asia.

Around 2009, GMarket Korea started up a GMarket Global site in English. And this year they even have it in Chinese! (via agency)
GMarket Global is different from GMarket SG. Global currency is in US currency and I learnt that they have MUCH MUCH more stuffs than GMarket SG, most of the percentage of the sellers are Koreans while GMarket SG have about 40% (my gauge) of Singaporean sellers.

Since 2007, I had an account with GMarket Korea but I wasn't able to buy anything as I don't understand hangul. (korean language)
I often just go into their site to drool on their pretty stuffs and then get disappointed because I'm unable to purchase anything! (lolx~)
And when they sent me a newsletter in English instead of their usual hangul on January this year, I was happy! (Actually they sent me a english newsletter once in 2009, then they stopped sending me newsletter until 2012, they expanded their business & they sent most of their emails in English)
It means that they have opened their business to worldwide! The system they used is similar to VPOST, with their own warehouse in korea.

These few weeks, I been going on GMarket SG in search of shoes and clothes. I realised one thing. The korean sellers are getting lesser, singaporean sellers getting more, and all the stuffs are getting more expensive! I compared items I bought from last year, the clothes from same seller cost $1-2 more expensive. And the range of collections are so little that I don't feel like buying anymore in GMarket SG.
I then turned to GMarket Global. Immediately, I found many pretty items that I wanted to purchase.
Then I looked for the same thing in GMarket SG, they weren't there. That's to say, the korean sellers stop selling in GMarket SG. They earned more $ in Global because there are more buyers there?
I could foresee Singapore sellers flooding GMarket SG in future leaving only a little % of korean sellers, and business for GMarket SG will drop, resulting in closure of GMarket SG, just like Yahoo auction SG.

Ultimately, GMarket SG offers cheaper shipping fees than in GMarket Global. I wouldn't want GMarket SG to close, that will be too sad for all the shopaholics (like me)!

Anyhoo, lets go on with the walkthrough for GMarket Global ^^

Here, shows the GMarket in English:

Remember to always look at the item weight, make sure the weight of the item is correct. The total weight of your items will determine the shipping charges. (For eg, a iphone cover weighing 0.5kg is WRONG, it should be 0.1kg. If its wrong, then you need to find other sellers that indicate the correct weight)

1. When purchasing for an item, you need to check the box "Please check, if ship to address in Korea". Alfhough you are an overseas buyer, the address that this item is going to send to, is a Korea address (GMarket Warehouse).
2. Click the first drop-down menu (Size)
3. Click the second drop-down menu (Item)

The item drop-down menu looks like this:

1. After selecting the item, an overall pricing will appear below.
2. Click the Coupon box to get discounts.

Use your discount coupon if you have them. And click APPLY.

1. Once item chosen and discount coupon applied, click ADD TO CART
2. It will bring you to your shopping cart
3. Item is automatically listed under Domestic category, you need to move it to Overseas

1. After moving it over, double check all the item weight and prices
2. You should only be charge once for the local (korea) Delivery fee. If you buy from 2 sellers, you will be charged twice.

Scroll down to the bottom, you will find overall price calculation.
1. Select your country and it will automatically calculate the delivery fee to your country BASE on the item weight.
Here, I have total of 1kg items. The shipping fees is base on this the SHIPPING CHARGE TABLE (<- click to see)
Currently, they are having a 3%~50% discount on shipping fees, the heavier the parcel is, the more discounts you get.
2. Click "Place an Order"

1. Input your details and address
2. Type in notes under the list of items if you wish the seller to take note of something

At bottom of page, you will see another final calculation of your items and shipping charges.
1. Input your bank card details
2. Click "PAY"
And viola! You had finished shopping!

As GMarket Global is using EMS (Door-to-door service), I believe it would reach Singapore in short period of time. If the local (korea) mailing takes 3 days, EMS another 3-5 working days, then you should be able to get your stuffs within 2 weeks. ^^
I couldn't really comment any further since I had not finalised my own purchases yet in GMarket Global! =p

I was so honoured to be invited by SKIN FOOD Singapore to attend the launch of the Good Afternoon BB Cream at Malaysia  Kuala Lumpur! And  Na was invited too (I only knew it after a day i got my invitation)! I was so happy that I could FLY overseas with her! (our first time in like 7021641649 friendship years to FLY on a plane together! *Excited*)

There is no better place to take NOTD (Nails of the day) than taking it in the mid sky, nearest to the sun! lolx~ Sorry, not beautifully done as I did it in a hurry the day before I flew to KL. ^.^" FYI, the gold glitters is from Skin Food polish. ^^

Here we are at Impiana hotel. Once again for me! Because I just stayed in Impiana on last year December for Comics Fiesta. Déjà vu.

After touch down for awhile, we had our lunch and we dress up to head towards KLCC Suria (Shopping mall). The Tea Party was held at Harrods.

The big Harrods mascot is so cute! I kind of regret for not looking around longer inside Harrods store, my hands are itchy from thinking to own a Harrods bag.. hahax~

We are wayyyy at the inner end of the store. Harrods is quite big! To have a tea party in here is really nice, the sun shines in from the windows, making the room feel cozy. The host is the lady wearing the blue summer hat.

Bascially Na wanted a glass of plain water (she's very thirsty), the waiter didn't quite catch what she said and came back with a sparkling water + a bill for us to pay. lolx! Anyways Cheryl helped us to settled it~ ^^ Our thoughts: Seriously, no plain ice water in Harrods? *puzzled*

This Tea Party is English theme and there is a best dress category so I'm all prepared for it~ ^^ I kinda hate it my hair wasn't all yellow, I didn't got time to bleach it before I flew to KL. And perhaps I should have gotten a headdress or hat to match my costume? I totally forgotten about it! (=_=;+) Anyhoo, here are the top 3 winners!

Yesterday CNY Day 2, I'd posted my OOTD on Instagram (as shown below). I used several Iphone apps to achieve the following effects. If you wish to download the apps, they are:
Camera360 - Super good camera app! I totally loving it! I had been taking alot of photos using this app, it will not save direct to your photo library yet, but only after you process them, you be able to save them to your phone, otherwise no matter how many photos you take, they will all be stored under the app, categorised by dates. The photos your stored in the app, can be re-edited for countless times without spoiling the original photos. So far, this is the only app I've came across that has the most effects to choose from, i love using it! ^^
iQuikDoF - Best Dof app for blurring out the background so focus is on the subject only. Its easy to use, just paint over the subject and then process it. Painted area remains sharp while others all will be blurred. Blur effect can be from 1 to 100%.
Pixlromatic - Another app that gives many different effects and borders. I usually use Camera360 first to process once, do a iQuikDoF and then use Pixlr to add in more effects for the final touch. ^^

On CNY Day 2, I played with my other Nymph Aura product, which is the Nymph Aura Loose Powder! ^^ Read HERE for review on Nymph Aura Volumer

ETUDE HOUSE Nymph Aura Loose Powder Ingredients & Swatches:
Saw from the ingredient list that this loose powder is NOT Talc-free.

I picked the #1 Natural Pearl Aura as I have medium dull skin tone, and the other shade is in pink pearl which i think my face would look ashy with that shade. Though from the swatch below,the powder looks almost white, but it is actually beige.

Review of ETUDE HOUSE Nymph Aura Loose Powder:
It has this cooling effect when I first powdered it on my face, the powder is very fine and makes my face looks glittery. The glitters however aren't big enough to be noticed at a distance, its only noticeable under certain lightings (like spot light), at some angles or if I look at my face really upclose infront of mirror.
The shade looks kinda whitish on my face when I applied my first puff of powder, but after smoothing it out, it doesn't make my face look ashy unlike other loose powders. It appears translucent but with slight white glow in it.
I worn this out for about 6 hours and so far I didn't experience anything drastic or whatever..lolx.. The wind nowadays had been super strong. Whenever I step out of the building, the wind blew against me was so strong that my hair flew upwards. (Imagine that! LOLX!)
So perhaps, today when I stepped out, my powder already GONE WITH THE WIND. kekekekx~
Overall, I like this loose powder because of the slight cooling effect it gives plus the main point is that it doesn't make my face looks super white. ^.^

ETUDE HOUSE VIP Girl Dear Darling Lips in PK008 7500won: ~ SGD$8.80
Super cheap eh? =D In addition, the casing is SOOoOooo cute! And when I turn the lippie out, immediately I "AWWwwwwww~" Such sweet pink shade! ^^ It kinda reminds me of Mac Viva Glam Lady Gaga Lipstick (which till now, I still havent buy!), but this seems to look cooler, like Pink 4 Friday. I think I still prefer Viva Glam Lady Gaga because I prefer warm tone pinks.

Yesterday (CNY Day 2)  I used these 2 lippies. Mainly, i use It's Skin #05 for lining, and Etude house for filling the lips.

On my lips, both look ALMOST similar. As I have pigmented lips, some how the swatch on my lips will turn out different from what I swatched on my hand and it might also be different from others who swatch on their lips.
Sorry for the confusion (^^"), basically the idea is that, if I want to achieve an accurate swatch, I would need to apply concealer on my lips first, before swatching the lipstick. As for here, I didn't do it because I wanted to test whether they are pigmented enough to cover my pigmented lips. And infact, they do!

Review of ETUDE HOUSE VIP Girl & It's Skin Color Play I Black Jewel Lip Rouse:
ETUDE HOUSE VIP Girl Dear Darling Lips PK008: Pigmented, smooth & easy to apply on lips. However it will look streaky if I run it over a few times. As my lips have lots of wrinkles (Oh NO! >_<;) the lippie gets trapped in between lines and its quite obvious. It accentuate the lines & wrinkles even more if I keep on applying the lippie. But usually for such cases, I will top it with lip gloss to solve the problem. ^^ Overall, I quite like the shade and would still want to continue using it so long I'm still into the BARBIE PINK phrase. lolx~

It's Skin Color Play I Black Jewel Lip Rouse #05 Love Pink: I love this coral pink shade! I never regret for grabbing this during my trip to KL, it was kind of a random buy as I just wanted to own ANY 1 THING (or maybe 2 or more) from IT'S SKIN. Lolx~
I use this as a lip liner and also as a base to conceal my pigmented lips. The pigments doesn't trap in between the wrinkles or lines, hence my lips look smooth when I smile. (unlike ETUDE HOUSE's) The only problem is that it's quite drying, so I need to be careful not to use this when I have crack/peeling lips.
And another thing which I don't like is that this lippie had to be sharpened. I'm super lazy when it comes to such thing.kekex~

Review of CooperVision Biofinity & Encore Colours Contact Lens:
Before the Chinese new year, I bought a few pair of lenses so that I can see my relative faces clearer. lolx!
I bought CooperVision Biofinity contact lenses for ~$55 & Encore Colours for ~$20 (I forgot exactly how much), got OPTI-FREE solution as gift.
All I can say about these 2 lenses is, they SUCK.
CNY Day 1, I worn Biofinity for whole day. When I got home, my eyes are like so dry. I almost bang my head to the wall because the lenses STICK on my eyeball and it wouldn't bulge! I poured solution into my eyes but the lenses just stick to my eyes like suction pads. I had to SLOWLY scrap the lens off from one eye, and for the other, I used finger to push it outside of my cornea (or iris) forcefully to the white area and then pinched it out.
CNY Day 2, I worn Encore Colours lenses for 6 hours. Immediately the moment I put on, my eyes feel irritated. But I keep telling myself not to focus on the lenses otherwise, it'll be much more irritated x 2. However, I had to keep blinking when I am in the Air-conditioned place and at some parts, it stings bad which make me tear & ruin my eyeliner. At about the 2nd hour, my eyes already turned red.

I thought it was either my eyes or the contact lenses solution that was the problem. I probably will give the lenses a try again when I find an opportunity to do so. I wouldn't want to risk my eyes wearing such lenses for the whole day (like at work or shopping), I might just test them out again for just an hour at home in both air-condition room and outdoor, so to understand what exactly is the cause. I just hope I didn't get any dry eye syndrome or something. (≥⌂≤")

I don't really wear wedges but this reddish orange pair from Charles & Keith ($49.90) has quite comfy soft leather material hence I convinced myself to get it, since the wedges are also not those bulky kind. The bulky or thick wedges will make me look like I have super big feet with super skinny legs. =p
The one on the right in camel & denim is from Mondo. Bought it on offer $34.90 ^^
Now that I see, both are like of the same height.. When I wear them, I'm like 180cm+~ ^_^"
I gotten a Charles & Keith bag too @ $69.90. (sadly no discounts on the items i purchased even though they put up a big big SALE sign outside the store :\) I think the bag is their newest arrival which I can't even find it in the C&K website. =_+ Anyhoo, i totally love this bag! ^^

As some of you already know, when you watch Kdrama/ Kmovie/ Kpop shows you see most of the artists having super smooth & glowy face. At times I wonder did they did too much plastic surgery that their faces shines like plastic? hahax!
Or do they really own a super smooth face that it can reflect lights at all angles? It kind of make me feel envious of their nice glowy skin.  I have glowy skin too when my skin starts pumping oil to surface but its only at my T-zone area. *pouts* (⌐^⌐)

ETUDE HOUSE Nymph Aura Volumer Packaging, Ingredients & Swatches:
So much different kinds of oil in the ingredients, i'm afraid that its comedogenic. I got to check through each and every one of the ingredients to know if this product is non-comedogenic.

On CNY Day 1, I played with Nymph Aura Volumer.
The swatches on my hand, were taken after I got home (Not the one I use on my face). 1 volumer to 3 BB cream means 1:3 ratio. The BB cream has to be 3/4 times bigger area than the volumer you pump out, so that your BB cream mix would not be too oily.
And as for the 4 boxes pic that shows my cheek, I forgot to say that the upper row is before I apply Volumer. The bottom row is with a little volumer.

Review of ETUDE HOUSE Nymph Aura Volumer:
The good side is that it did gives slight glow on my skin, not the kind that sebum pumps up from the pores, but more to the healthy glowy kind. For the whole day my face seems to be quite nice to me (Maybe my skin is on CNY mood? lolx~). It didn't pump sebum, hence I need not blot and the slight glowy look is still there till I reach home. I didn't even touch up my face, it seems like its been moisturised well, hence my skin didn't produce sebum to replenish the dry skin surface.
The bad side is, I think it doesn't suit my type of skin. =(
I find by making my face look glowy also accentuate my large pores and those tiny bumps that are all over my face, esp the area between my eyes & nose. The volumer doesn't look very bad nor that good on my type of skin, but it can still be used maybe once awhile for a change, if I feel like it.
I would however recommend the dry skin (with tiny pores) people to try this volumer! I think it will make them look very much like those Korean stars, with super smooth & healthy glowy skin! ^_^

This post is somewhat the continuation of my previous X'mas-New Year post. ^^ (Read HERE for the previous post)

Last year Dec 16-19, I and a few friends went to Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur for a Cosplay event, Comic Fiesta 2011. The CF 2011 was held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) and we stayed only a walking distance away, which is the Impiana Hotel.

This is not my first time going to KL as previous was a work trip at some ulu KL industrial area, but I totally never been in KL town area before so most of the shopping places were recommended by my friends. Our first stop was at Nandos @ Sungei Wang. Heard that Nandos in Malaysia is 100% yummier than Singapore + cheap + no service charge! So yah, I tried one of their set meal. It was OK for me. My friends mentioned that the chicken thigh has shrunk and the taste wasn't that yummy like last time. They were rather disappointed.
The MILD flag is actually the spiciness level. I love adding the Garlic sauce from the bottle, my food taste nicer with the garlic ^^

Then we proceed to Sungei Wang for shopping, cos my friends said Sungei Wang is the best shopping place in KL, its like Far East Plaza, there are many levels and many shops in there and all their stuffs are CHEAAPPPppp~.
And what did I do? I went to a SALON to BLEACH my hair. (Not cheap though, cost me RM400!) Lolx~ I wanted to do it because I'm need my hair to be yellow for my cosplay on the CF Day 2. Below is a magazine which I was reading while I'm doing my hair. Fashion bloggers magazine! When will Singapore have their own Fashion/Beauty Bloggers magazine? o_O The contents inside the mag was very interesting! ^^

We then had Korean BBQ for dinner! Funny thing for this restaurant is that the staff in there said "SA WA DI KA!" to welcome customers. Isn't that THAI????!!! Lolx!~ Anyways, I LOVEEEEEEE The meat!!!! Its tender, thickness was just nice, so I don't find it hard to chew but yet, its thick enough to spill juices inside my mouth. *mouth watering meat~* I was still craving for more after we finished cos th BBQ set was shared among 5 of us. =p

And my small Haul @ Sungei Wang... Nothing much eh? I was in need of face mist (forgot to bring to KL) so dropped by Etude house to get 1 ^^ and look at the pretty paper bag they gave me~ BTW, it was a man who served me at Etude house.. Shouldn't singapore start recruiting male BAs now? We are like WAYYYYY behind! Hong Kong, Korea, Malaysia they all employ handsome male BAs! SG should have too! >,<

After half a day of shopping & eating, we all PENGS cos we din have any sleep at all on the previous day!!!!!~ (The long couch was REALLY COMFY!~ <^o^<)

The next day was Comic Fiesta Day 1. I wasn't cosplaying as I only intend to do for CF Day 2. And here shows me in my newly bleached hair. (Its SUPA DRY I TELL YOU! >_< I think I could die if I don't mask it.)

I posted about Nyanpire before and I was excited when I saw Nyanpire at the CF! hohoox~ So i bought it~ ^^
Of the various accessories I bought for myself, I find that the rainbow cake charm was really cute! And the gingerbread man bracelet (that is for my friend^^) Those jewelleries are HANDMADE! Visit tinypinc HERE~
And for the contact lens case, they are super cheap, cost about SGD$1 or so only. I bought a similar one in SG for $3.90! Basket.=_=

Most cosplayers were all standing in the holding area walking around taking pics, including us. hahax~ I didn't really took alot of the cosplayer photos as I'm about 80% handicap myself..^^" Cos I need to carry my long skirt tail when I walk, otherwise people will step on it!

Finally, we on our way walking back to hotel via the overhead bridge. The bridge was always empty, so we jumped on the chance, had a few shots of our own before going back hotel. ^^

On the 4th day, which is our last day in KL, Hoshi and I went shopping. YEAH, at last! (Yuanie was at a photoshoot)
We walked from our hotel to Pavilion. There were tons of BEARS displayed outside the Pavilion, featuring each country's paintings & designs on the bear. Some of the designs are pretty obvious where its from, I compiled a few bears to show to all as seen below.
Anyone can guess the replica version of winnie the pooh is from_____???? And guess which is Singapore's???

We then walk to Sungei Wang, and on the way went in other malls to take a look.
I also went in Sephora and found out that their stuffs are sold slightly cheaper than Singapore! I din buy anything though, cos the lighting in there was Orange, I can't see the swatches whether they are beige/yellow/orange or wat! I hate their lightings <∆<"

And so.. that's about much for my first overseas trip to a cosplay event ^_^ Perhaps, the next time would be Japan! Looking forward to it!

I hadn't been blogging since last year (lolx). For past 2 months+ I was very busy with work, going out on my off days and preparing my cosplay stuff (More like resting when I have some spare time as I'm just too tired! lolx~).

Anyhoo, hereby presenting my cosplay, me as 藤乐乐 [Teng Le Le] from 独领风骚 [THE ONE], taken by Data.  This is like my.... 3rd time cosplaying the same character? ^^" I never get bored of doing it cos its considered the least troublesome costume among the rest. And its my first time cosplaying outside of Singapore! Hence I'm very excited about it! XD~

The Korean STARS!!!~ I'm only looking at 2NE1, Super Junior, Girls Generation (SNSD) and BEAST! (B2ST)
Though they look small in my pics, but in actual they look pretty near to us! And looks BIG in my eyes! OoO WOoooo~

Overall, I only love it when the bands come onto the stage and perform. Other than that, I'm not enjoying it. :\ Imagine we have to stand 4 hours at 1 spot (literally!) and we couldn't move at all. Plus i hate it when everyone takes out cam to take pics & videos of the stars. I mean, who the hell would look at your blur pics and unsteady videos? The cams and arms are blocking my view even though I'm like 1 head taller than anybody else (most of them infact, which gives me an ultimate advantage especially for standing concerts. Lolx~), so when their arms are up, I had to switch to looking at the big screen. Basket.
If its just taking few pics for like 20 secs, I find its still ok. But NOOOoo, they had to hang their cams in the air for the whole of 3-4 hours! I wish I could like use the lightstick to PIAK at the person's head infront of me to get her bring down her stupid chunky DSLR. Lolx!
Actually, I hit her and her friend few times on the head accidentally cos she keep moving backwards almost leaning on me as she need to bring up her BIG DSLR and I was like "OH YEAH, WOOOO, YAHHHH!!" *Puts hands up, wave lightstick, PIAK her head with arm* XD~
A young girl standing beside me was pretty high too and we both sing along to every of the K-pop songs. (She didn't take pics! Amazed!) I kinda felt there's this weird connection between me and her through-out the whole event. kekex!~ While on other side my colleagues who only know Suju songs, they kept taking pics & vids and shriek when Suju comes up. *Ouch my ears* =_=
Talking about bad concert experience.. This is like my 3rd time? =.= Sigh~ Wat's with all these youngsters???? Perhaps, I'm too old for concerts? >_>"

At end of the event, this tent still open for business. I ♥ the backdrop. It makes the tent look so classic and vintage. Don't you think? ^^

Uniqlo Bowler Hat in light brown $29.90: So cute! I'm actually saving, refrain from buying anything fashion related stuffs, so I could spend more if I go Japan next year, but this hat is too lovely, I hope to wear this in Japan!~ ^^

When one mention Bronze, naturally one will think its warm tone. Compare to my other eye look (right side), Bronze Goddess appear to be of a cooler tone, almost towards greenish-grey. The Infaillible eyeshadow has this pretty glitters and gives off a smooth satin sheen when applied.
By the way, it looks much more pigmented if I use finger to apply them. Brushes doesn't pick up the pigments well.

During September, I went Zhuhai, Macau, Hong Kong for work. At very short hours I grabbed alot of stuffs from the shelves without even looking at them! Hahax.. just kidding^^" But yah, I almost swiped off products from shelves cos I don't have much time to even think if I should buy them due to the busy schedule and itinerary!

Professional Dragon Air Brush fostep series HK$50: I long yearned for a professional salon type of round hair brush because it makes hair look shiny and smooth after combing it (+ hair blowing) with it. When I saw this brush selling at only HK$50(~S$8!) I grabbed it without thinking! lolx.. After googling, I found out that this is a replica brush of the so call infamous Y.S.Park Brush. (Mine is replica, cos the brand name is not same, plus it writes "Made in PRC" hahax^^") My brush should look like one of these? More about YSPark. And read more on Brushes. I'm now using my brush everyday and it REALLY makes my hair looks smooth & tames my frizzy hair! ^^

I have OCC Hush & Trollop, both are last year's birthday presents from Na ^^ And now I bought 4 Sleek Paint Pouts namely Cloud 9, Minx, Peachy Keen, Milkshade.
I did swatches of all, and found that OCC is more watery and Sleek feels alot thicker/creamier than OCC. Both are very pigmented and can cover dark lips. I prefer OCC for its smell and that it has this minty taste. But I prefer Sleek for its tip, able to control how much I want to dispense, unlike OCC it always flow a huge amount out and make a mess everywhere.
I did some colour mix with Cloud 9.. And come to think of it, I don't own any mixing palette.. time to get 1!  Any recommendations?^^

OCC Hush vs Sleek Minx
I did a DUPE swatch of OCC Hush vs Sleek Minx, as shown on 2nd pic. I gave up on OCC Trollop vs Sleek Milkshake because I find that they don't really look like dupes at all after I did my first swatch (above pic).
Although both looks pinkish but Sleek Minx has this mild rosy tint while OCC Hush is towards the beige side.

Sally Hansen Extra Strength Creme Hair Bleach (Before & After pic)
I think I forgot to show my before eyebrow pic..^_^" Anyways, just imagine messy black eyebrow!
The bleaching is so strong that it only took less than 5mins for my eyebrow to turn light brown. When its about time, certain part of my skin starts to sting. Its a warning to say that I'd put for too long, so I immediately wipe the creme off and wash it.
As shown below, I followed instructions, put 5ml of activator with 10ml of bleach. After mixing for sometime, it becomes more than 30ml which I can use it to bleach my eyebrow, finger hair, knee hair & toes hair (lolx~ Why the hell I bleach these areas?! Cos, I find these hair obvious and obscene than my leg hair. =p~) and maybe my armpit hair (if I have XD~)

Shu Uemura vs Shiseido Lash Curler
My Shiseido lash curler recently failed to curl my lashes even after I changed the rubber to a new one. Probably reason why because I been using it for like, more than 5 years? ^^" The metal parts now feels loose. Thus, Shu Uemura now officially replaces Shiseido curler~
Remembering at the beginning, Shiseido was as good as my current Shu Uemura curler. I had changed the rubber for several times already. I guess its really the time for me to let go. *sobx* T^T

Q & A time:

During Q&A sessions, Shawn answered a few questions that most of them I already knew.
Particularly one question that was asked was something like:
Why do we grow white hair and will plucking white hair makes us grow 3 white hair?
He answered that why we grow white hair even at a young age like now, usually is because of stress level, the environmental issues and your personal daily lifestyle. All in all, it affects your body in someway and it will affect the cells underneath your scalp, therefore affecting the growth & colour pigments of your hair.
Another is cause by genetic (inherited from your parents/grandparents).
And whether or not by plucking 1 white hair will make you grow more white hair, he doesn't know because it's always been a myth and many people still believes it.  For this, I knew the answer. ^_^ (I knew but I didn't share at the event because I was shy to say.. =p~) The answer is NO.

I had a chat with Shawn about white hair during our ice-cream eating time. Lolx..
I told him that I have white hair since 12+, I got it from my parents, (same to my brother too). I didn't do anything to it till I was about 20 and was influenced by someone else who have the exact same problem as me, then I started plucking out all the white hair.
True enough as what I was taught, the white hair got lesser and the whites didn't grew back. And now I have full black hair!! ^^ (If bleached hair doesn't count.. lolx) Reason why plucking your white hair doesn't make it grow more whites because every strand of hair is attached to a follicle (like a pore that grows out hair... lolx~). By plucking 1 hair from that follicle, doesn't split your follicle to 3! Your follicle is still 1 and it can only grow 1 strand of hair! So girls, don't believe this myth and don't be stubborn about it, it can't and it won't grow 3 white hair! =p~
Every time I see any white hair, I'll just pluck them out, (I'll pluck out for my friends too =p~) and now, only once in a bluemoon I will get a few strands of white hair.
As for whether it affects my hair volume, there isn't much changes from the time I was 12 and now. Because all the while, I always have limp oily thin hair with little volume. Perhaps, it did become alittle thinner than last time however I feel that my follicles are still rather strong and healthy, it regrow pretty fast, therefore it also explains why my hair grows long pretty quick too.
I also discussed with Shawn about how the white/grey hair comes about and he agreed with me too. I said that I remembered reading an article many years ago on how a person can get more white/grey hair or faster than anybody else is because of the pigment cells in the roots. When a person age or due to other factors, the pigment cells weakens and it will make your hair loose its black pigments making it look grey or white. If this is cause by age, it doesn't help if you pluck them out.
But if you are young and you have lots of white hair like me in the past, even though you could pluck them (like what I did) but here, I'm advising you not to. Because everyone has different hair regrowth rate. It might take me just a few months for my follicle to regrow new hair but it might take someone else a year or more. So, I do not want anyone of you to hate me after reading this and start plucking your white hair, later found out that you became bald.. lolx~
By the way, ALTHOUGHHhhh scientifically it says that another white hair will grow in its place to replace your plucked white hair since the pigment cell is already dead, but I still prefer to think otherwise. ^^""

Anyways, I already stopped plucking my white hairs for almost half a year now reason because I been bleaching and dyeing my hair! hhahax..
Its no way less harmful than plucking hair but at least its a beauty/fashion icon to own a coloured hair and also, it voluminise my hair too! After dyeing, my hair lost its moisture causing the hair to fluff up to about 1.5 times of its usual thickness, and because my hair's dry, it automatically sucked in all the sebum that my scalp could produce, making my hair look non-oily yet well-moisturised, volumnized, beautifully bleached hair. Hahax! =p~

But of course, I still maintain my hair by doing the neccessary shampooing, conditioning, hair-masking, hair seruming, hair drying DAILY so I won't have crispy fried hair on the next day.

During my daily hairwash routine, I :
- Wet my hair and run it through water thoroughly (to remove the dust and dirt from hair first)

- Wash off the shampoo
- I usually would choose to use the conditioner (Alternatively, hair mask from other brands) again on hair ends, because I find that the shampoo sometimes washed off the silky smooth feeling that was left on by the conditioner during the first round of conditioning. If you think your hair is not feeling dry after the shampoo step, you can skip this last step.
- Then, comes the haircare time! (refer below)

Review of Shampoo & Conditioner:
I like both of them as the shampoo didn't make my scalp itch nor does it makes it feel oily. Even though I have very dry bleached & dyed hair, my scalp is still the oily type and it would itch if I use any shampoo that is too rich for it.
The conditioner however could not provide my hair the right moisturise level, I would still require hair mask roughly 2-3 times a week to make my hair feel smooth and tangle-free. I feel that it could however, provide the right nourishment for those with only slight bleached/dyed hair. Nevertheless, I love the smooth silky feel that this conditioner gives my hair.

Review of Serum & Light Cream:
Serum is rich and its superb for dry hair like mine. As mentioned, I have oily scalp so this serum cannot go anywhere nearer than 5cm from my scalp otherwise it will somehow spread towards my scalp making it oily greasy and then, itch. :\ That, or my whole head will look greasy, and hair will go limp.
Roughly about total of 5 pumps is more than enough for the whole head (exclude roots/scalp area of course!)
Light Cream is really light and when I apply on my hair, it absorb so fast that I hardly got time to spread it out. Therefore in the video, you see me putting on 3 applications of Light Cream.
I actually like both Serum & Light Cream for they have their own pros and cons. Serum makes my hair turn oily quickly if I wear it whole day with sweating, etc.. but its easier to apply on and it immediately makes your hair smooth and silky.
Light Cream doesn't make my hair turn oily, moisturises well but only thing is that I have to apply ALOT more than the serum, which requires a longer time during application.
Last question: Frizzy or not? I would say it requiresh air mask to make it work better. I cannot depend solely just on conditioner and serum/ light cream to achieve non-frizz hair. Cos my whole head might be looking oily and still frizz at the ends! Get it? ;)
