I didn't buy Laniege but I REALLY REALLY Love its BB Essence Balm! I wanted Bodyshop's Extra Virgin cream compact but its too oily.. Laniege's cream compact feels so smooth & sheer, I would want to get one~ T^T But I didn't turn back cos not enough time for more shopping.I think i cost about S$48 which is reasonable and I also tried their sunblock, its feels so good too! Should I buy them in Singapore or ask someone to CP? Which one is cheaper? o_O

Professional Dragon Air Brush fostep series HK$50: I long yearned for a professional salon type of round hair brush because it makes hair look shiny and smooth after combing it (+ hair blowing) with it. When I saw this brush selling at only HK$50(~S$8!) I grabbed it without thinking! lolx.. After googling, I found out that this is a replica brush of the so call infamous Y.S.Park Brush. (Mine is replica, cos the brand name is not same, plus it writes "Made in PRC" hahax^^") My brush should look like one of these? More about YSPark. And read more on Brushes. I'm now using my brush everyday and it REALLY makes my hair looks smooth & tames my frizzy hair! ^^

OCC Lip Tar vs Sleek Paint Pout
I have OCC Hush & Trollop, both are last year's birthday presents from Na ^^ And now I bought 4 Sleek Paint Pouts namely Cloud 9, Minx, Peachy Keen, Milkshade.
I did swatches of all, and found that OCC is more watery and Sleek feels alot thicker/creamier than OCC. Both are very pigmented and can cover dark lips. I prefer OCC for its smell and that it has this minty taste. But I prefer Sleek for its tip, able to control how much I want to dispense, unlike OCC it always flow a huge amount out and make a mess everywhere.
I did some colour mix with Cloud 9.. And come to think of it, I don't own any mixing palette.. time to get 1!  Any recommendations?^^

OCC Hush vs Sleek Minx
I did a DUPE swatch of OCC Hush vs Sleek Minx, as shown on 2nd pic. I gave up on OCC Trollop vs Sleek Milkshake because I find that they don't really look like dupes at all after I did my first swatch (above pic).
Although both looks pinkish but Sleek Minx has this mild rosy tint while OCC Hush is towards the beige side.

Sally Hansen Extra Strength Creme Hair Bleach (Before & After pic)
I think I forgot to show my before eyebrow pic..^_^" Anyways, just imagine messy black eyebrow!
The bleaching is so strong that it only took less than 5mins for my eyebrow to turn light brown. When its about time, certain part of my skin starts to sting. Its a warning to say that I'd put for too long, so I immediately wipe the creme off and wash it.
As shown below, I followed instructions, put 5ml of activator with 10ml of bleach. After mixing for sometime, it becomes more than 30ml which I can use it to bleach my eyebrow, finger hair, knee hair & toes hair (lolx~ Why the hell I bleach these areas?! Cos, I find these hair obvious and obscene than my leg hair. =p~) and maybe my armpit hair (if I have XD~)

Shu Uemura vs Shiseido Lash Curler
My Shiseido lash curler recently failed to curl my lashes even after I changed the rubber to a new one. Probably reason why because I been using it for like, more than 5 years? ^^" The metal parts now feels loose. Thus, Shu Uemura now officially replaces Shiseido curler~
Remembering at the beginning, Shiseido was as good as my current Shu Uemura curler. I had changed the rubber for several times already. I guess its really the time for me to let go. *sobx* T^T
Below shows the comparison between the 2. Note the areas that I drew arrows are the places that shows obvious differences.
And I wonder now, where do I buy the rubber for Shu Uemura? I bought Shiseido's from Chinatown, IVY shop. Not sure if they also sell Shu Uemura? o_O Anyone have any idea?

Then I saw a FB post by Linda (Thanks for taking this big head pic~hahax..) and I saw my big face. I was like OMG front?! Not that I want to be haolian- proud ...ok, NOW i'm proud =p~ Because its my FIRST TIME to have my face on front page ok! >_<
Then the first thing that comes to my mind is: I cannot go opposite coffeeshop already!! They all can recognise me! I'm the so far most yellow headed gal in Punggol ah~ ~_~" *paiseh* (Proud & paiseh, confused feelings..)

But now sad thing is that, I DO NOT HAVE THE NEWSPAPER!!!(*%@_%(@_#$ It was sold out by the time I ask my helper to get it from the coffee shop.. Zzz..
Anyhoo, I'm glad at least to know that my workplace has the newspaper and I get to keep that (although its been used many times by public). hahax..

I had been wanting a tall mirror (long enough to see myself in the reflection) for the longest time ever, but always never did get any from IKEA because they do not have a simple standing mirror. Most designs are required to be mounted on wall.

While I was at Tampines Courts 2 weeks earlier, I saw this mirror and immediately my eyes SPARKLESSSssss!!!~~~~ Simple, sleek, occupy very minimum area and.. very heavy! The stand is strong enough to withstand the mirror weight hence I'm not worried the mirror's gonna fall back. ^^ I got this for $59!~

So what do I need the mirror for? Basically, for me to wear my shoes and decide which one to match with my outfit, and do a last check or take a picture of myself before I head out! Just like the below pic. kekex~~ ^o^ I'm wearing the WTF top!~ =p

Everyday, I'm editing pictures of my hauls.. I think I spent more than 2 weeks to finish them, with some breaks inbetween. And here is the reason why I'd spent so much time editing them!
The stuffs were bought way back from Nov till now. And so much LOTD and OOTD that I didn't get to post.. oh well, guess if I post too much of my faces, ppl will puke.. hahhax!

I'm getting reaaaaalllly lazy, I don't think i'm gonna name every item here, so if you girls are interested in any of them, just ask! ^_^

BEAUTY HAULS
Na's recommendation for oily scalp/hair! So i got it the Royal Wind Oil Control Shampoo, with free conditioner at the back~ Not much to comment, it works so-so for me. =)

Ardell Fashion Lashes - 120 Demi: $8.95
Besides Japanese brand lashes, Ardell are also quite popular among the girls in Asia especially China/Taiwan. And most asian girls picked Demi lashes maybe because of their eyeshapes. From Ardell's website, I'm able to find the lashes that suits me by clicking the right category (eg, small eyes, round eyes..)
Their lashes are 100% Human Hair, and that explains why they can only be used a few times. Whats so good about it is that the base of the lashes (the part where it sticks to your lids aka the band) is not made of hard plastic thingy. Its basically transparent glue that holds all the lashes together!
Its soft and fluffy feelin' when I wore them on. ^.^ Likey!!
But no like when I remove them, as the lashes totally flattened out after I put them on table to dry when it was still damp. (Unlike lashes made of plastic!)
The correct method of maintaining it should be, wash/remove adhesive after peeling it off from eyelid, and dry them with towel/tissue immediately(if you do wash them). Air them on table only when the lashes are completely dry, so the curl will remain.

La Roche-Posay Cicaplast : $25.90 -20% (I got it on sales, with 2 free samples given! ^_^)
I'm happy that I'd chance upon Lissasioux's La Roche-Posay Cicaplast review and I must say that I got hold of Cicaplast too on the very day I read it. hahax~
With a little Push from Sophia, I confirmed that I actually NEED Cicaplast. =p
I had rashes on my neck and jawlines and at that moment, my skin was in mid of recovery but still got problems of dry flaky skin when I put foundation on.
So Cicaplast helped me on that. Although the oil bumps still pops up once awhile even with Cicaplast, however it didn't get anymore worst than that.
I also applied it a little over my lips and it felt nice. The edge of my lips are not so dried up and wrinkly feelin' like the usual.
Overall, I will say its very good but not till the extend of being my Holy Grail like what it did for the other ladies. ^_^

Shopping @ NEX.. I went there few times with Jessie, Verlyn, Na (everbluec) and also few times alone.. I got addicted shopping there. ^_^"
I really like this Bourjois eyeshadow pot - ombre a paupieres 05 (Light whitish-pink tone): $19 (-20%). I like the swatch on my hands, it gives a very smooth and nice satin & sheer kinda look. But when its on my eyes, I duno why it makes my eyes look ashy. =_= Probably I'm like, too dark for it? Those who bought this too, do comment!~
Finally, I bought 2-way foundations (my Covermark's running out), one refill from Kose:$57 (usual $60, thanks to Jessie's Isetan card) and another from SANA Natural Resource:$38.90 (-20%, no thanks to Na's recommendation =p~)

Repurchasing my Aqua Label White Protect Sunscreen : $26.90 (It helped alot from making my skin dark/ 'chou tar' from running around under hot sun)
Kose Seikisho Mask White: $35 (with free 5 pc mask! Promo @ NEX)

With help from my friend, Amber who always fly Taiwan every year or 2, I managed to get my hands on Naruko (牛爾 Niu Er's brand) and BeautyMaker (Kevin's brand) products. They are to be bought only online as its not available at the retail stores. I heard that its not that easy to purchase online too, like they need a special card or an account or some sort.

-BeautyMaker Color Correcting Eyelid Primer, Aqua Eye Concealer, Magic Concealer (Pen type)
-Naruko Rose & Snow Fungus Class Night Eye Gelly (I keep laughing at the 'Gelly' spelling.. LOLxx)
The shade I chose for my concealers are the medium shade (Beige 粉膚/自然膚色)
A small gift of face spray(?), cos i din order this ^_^"

Now for my Favourite part, Concealer swatches!! (Due to some pics were taken during different time of the day, hence the colour differs...)
I like the fact that the magic concealer is as peachy as MAC studio finish NW25, I now use both to conceal my -hopeless- dark circles. ^3^
And for concealing spots on my face, I mixed Aqua eye concealer with MAC C25 concealer.

I really am in love with the night eye 'gelly' (teehee~). Everytime I apply them on my undereyes, it felt so soothing. It has a rather strong smell of rose.. and kinda mix with lavender too? I can't make out what floral scent it is but it really smells great, smells as soothing as it's on my eyes...
Mmmm~ Eyes eating ice-cream~~~

Again, recommended by Na, I bought the KOSE Junkisei Prime Oil Cleansing. As much as she love it, I too love it. LOLx.. Go read her review here!

One of you might find this very familiar... LOLx.. I bought this Revlon lipsticks for 2010 Onsugar BXP gift exchange. And I couldn't stop the urge of getting more peach pinks lipsticks so I bought the same pair for myself too! LOLx..~

Ohhhh~ At last we come to Sleek Hauls! Another of my favourite buys from the last 3 months of non-stop hauling!
I'd ordered the Sleek Blush in Pixie Pink and Rose Gold through Jo's Sleek spree.
When I tried to open up the case, it was so daaaaarrrrnnn hard to open till it requires me to bring a pair of scissors to ply it open. =_= (imagine I had to do that EVERYTIME i wana use it.. PFFTt..)

I had been urged, psycho-ed, nagged (or watever you call it) to signup a twitter account. Without iphone, I see no point in creating the account and be able to twit only when I'm back home using my PC. So, I spent $500 (call me crazy!) to get my iphone! Just because of twitter? I am drawn to almost anything japanese (and korean now.kekex..) and so, I found this little treasure!~ I have a little planner in my bag which I often update due to my busy work schedules and adhoc appointments (so that I wont forget..=_=")

Finally! I've reached the last item of my collective haul~.. This Military khaki green cap : $19 was purchased just few days ago @ City Square. I patron the shop before (Elephant @ Basement - Why is elephant @ basement? Because its too heavy so even if it goes to 10th floor, the ground breaks and it'll fall to the basement. Hahhax!~ I'm just bullxhitting =p~) when City Square just opened and I am loving their caps more, in compare to 77th street's. I think their cap sizes are a little bigger too than 77th St's. (can fit my big head heh)

And that marks the end of my 3 months collective haul... I'm now being a good girl trying not to buy too much things (so far still ok).. Unless I really NEEeeeddd it~ kekekx.. Hwaiting!!

During November, I was contacted by Huimin from Kao (Singapore) to review Biore products. As I had some rashes happening on my face and neck for the past month, hence I delayed my review for Kao Biore products. ^.^" Kao (Singapore) sent me a parcel that includes: 1. Kao Bioré Cleansing Oil Cotton Sheets (Regular Pack) 2. Kao Bioré Makeup Remover for Eye & Lip (130ml) (I call it Point Remover) 3. A DIY First Aid Box (Cute isn't it??!!! 》▽《)

When I open up the First Aid box... I saw... See how cute all the products were packaged and they even sticked on a mini advert tag on the products~ (what do you call that thingy?)

 

Kao Biore Cleansing Oil Cotton Facial Sheets & Makeup Remover

The Packaging I like their simple and sweet packaging design plus the colours used are very lady-like. One thing I find that the Cleasing wipes is overly wrapped up. I had to unwrapped 3 times inorder to get to the actual product. Later, I found out there were cute illustrations drawn at the back of the cardboard wrapping but they were all written in japanese, how I wish I could read them as it seems that they are providing a very useful tip of using the wipes! Anyways, i think by looking at the illustrations, we all should know what they meant... ^.^"

There were again, many instructions all written in Japanese on the packaging which I had no idea what they were writing about.. LOLx.. Kao Biore Makeup Remover for Eye & Lip I loving the simple bottle design, it reminds me of mineral water bottles (though I don't really drink lot of mineral water..^,^" but I always like the design of a crystal clear bottle with very interesting content within it) Only for this point Makeup Remover, we need to shake it well before using it. Face Makeup Remover like THIS, do not need shaking. (See my review on Biore Hydra-Clear Makeup Remover HERE & HERE)

 

BEFORE and AFTER USE - Biore Makeup Remover for Eye & LipSteps: -I drenched my cotton pad with lots of Remover, and I pressed the cotton pad onto my eyelid, covering the whole eye and eyebrow. -With a little pressure, I hold it there for about 10 secs and longer. -Then I do a swiping side move, and WHAM!! My false lash along with all the makeup came off! -Below shows before and after use. The remover wiped off all my eyeshadows, eyeliner, mascara, eyebrow mascara, false eyelash, concealer and foundation. My thoughts: I love how quickly and how thoroughly it cleanse off all the makeup. However, I still find my eyes a little tingling and vision becomes alittle blur when the content gets into my eyes. The tingling feeling is bearable though. Overall, I love it. :) It is probably gonna be standing side by side with my current Holy Grail makeup point remover from now on. \^o^/*~ First time showing my Bare Bare droopy eye.... *shys*

BEFORE and AFTER USE - Biore Cleansing Oil Cotton Facial Sheets Below shows my very basic everyday LOTD with a little eyeliner (usually I don't put on eyeliner when I go work) Steps: -Open the container lid, using 2 fingers, I gave tissue wipes a hard press until I see the 'oil' content flowing towards the point that I pressed. (This is to show that the sheets are not too dried up if I were to leave the wipes unused for a certain period of time, and I find that by doing so, the most top tissue wipe will absorb alot of the 'oil' from below, which would be good as I need as much 'oil' as possible to remove my makeup. ^_^) -Pull off a sheet and start wiping off the makeup from face with down and out stroke motions. -For my eyes & lips, I will fold the tissue to half, and use the folded corner and lightly brush along corners and edges. So that the liners will be able to be removed thoroughly. -Below shows the total number of sheets I used to fully cleanse my makeup face. - 4 sheets! -After which, I used a cottonpad filled with point remover and cleanse my face once again. I found some traces of foundation on it (See most bottom pic), meaning that the wipes weren't very efficient in thoroughly removing the makeup. My thoughts: I find that the sheets are rather dry . When I used it on my face, the wipes felt rough and after using 2-3 sheets, i felt my skin started to burn alittle. Not physically, more like its my own thoughts. ^_^" Too much rubbing of the wipes makes certain part of my face (such as my jaw/ below cheek areas) dry. As an overall, I would much prefer to use these wipes as a corrector for my ruined makeup. And for a quick makeup remover during my after-cosplay, that is, to remove my thick wayang cosplay makeup and retouch with a little powder after that so people would not keep looking at my overly makeup face. hahahx~ ^o^ Sorry, Imma not going to show any Bare Bare face! *shys*

Sometime last month, I came upon a page in Vivi Oct magazine where Hitoshi (Japanese MUA) teaches how to do a simple look with just eyeliner and red lipstick on model Mitsuki. I am very drawn to the eye look so i gave it a try!

My Trial:
The look is so simple that I took HALF AN HOUR to draw 2 liners!!!! @!*&%_(_*!@xyz#&!!!!!
As you can see on my right eye, i kinda made a mistake, rubbed it off and drew again hence the stain.. My left eye makeup look alittle better.
I later compared my look with the magazine and found that I kinda drew it too inwards. The liner most inner point should start at about 1/3 from the outer corner of your eyes (making sense here?). But I started my liner from the middle of my eye, which I ended up with a rather 'fat' triangular shape liner.

I also found out that my left and right liners are not balance when I open my eyes. My left one is so much droopier than the right. I guess it really takes alot of practice to make both liners balance. In the first place my eyes are already not balanced to start with, so it makes it more difficult to draw 2 perfect balanced triangular eyeliners. =_="" Pffft.

Just a few days ago, I was watching 2NE1's latest MV "It Hurts (아파)" and something caught my eyes. YES! Its Sandara's eye makeup! SAME triangular liner look!
I screencap it and compared her liner to the ones i drew and the magazine's. And then compared her left to her right eyeliner.
Humans are born with imbalanced eyes/eyelids.. and so is Sandara. XD kekekex..
Look at her liners, the right eyeliner (her right eye) is drawn higher and straighter than her left eye. And her eyebrow is imbalance too! SOOOooo, I'm not alone! Yeah!~

Well, there isn't much partying for me this time round. More like dressing up, walking around, taking pics, Puri, and eat.... hhhaax~ (Isn't it what I always do? -_-)

The left pic shows 2 girls wearing Waloli (Japanese Traditional clothes with Lolita Fashion) and that's basically what I wore on Halloween night.
The picture was found on A+LIDEL official website long ago but the site's not available now.
From my understanding, the picture was drawn by a Japanese artist and his/her pictures inspired A+LIDEL to make costumes from the drawings into real clothings.

I found this picture 4 years ago and immediately, love this pic so much that I decided to custom make the waloli set with all the ready fabrics I could get.
So, is it called Dressup? Or... Cosplay?
I feel its not exactly cosplaying the characters as I do not have the exact prints and masks. So I'll call it as Dressing up but following the picture pose. ^_^"

Here's a studio (the studio is my home..haha..) shot of me and my friend in the costume took almost 4 yrs ago.. Don't ask what the hell is EnSu Dolls! I forgot why i name that! Halloween OOTD
And on Halloween, we intend to make some changes to our outfit...
We are the WALOLI DEAD DOLLS!!! (I look so dead, why my friend Nessa look so ALIVE! *headdesk*) And a MAJOR wrong wrong thing I did is to put that YELLOW FLOWER ON MY HEAD! (*headdesk x 999*)

And then, an INCIDENT HAPPENED!
While Nessa & me were hanging just outside ION Sephora, taking pictures by the stretch of empty walkway, we were approached by a cute lady & her guy friend looking all so excited with big eyes, asking where we buy our costume from. She complimented that our costumes are really pretty and touched our sleeves. Lolx..
Then as soon as I told her its custom made, she looked so sad! Then she gets enthu again and ask where we got the fabrics from, I told her its from overseas. And she turn sad again! XD~ She reminds me of PUPPY!!! OMG!!~ So cute! hahhax~
She complimented our costumes again and then she went off waving goodbye smiling~ ^.^v~ Sometimes its things like this which happens once in awhile on something that we made effort to do, and we get true compliments from strangers that made our day. =D ♥♥♥ Isn't it??? (I just lost a $50 note during my work on 30th Friday and 31st I got this compliment, it fills the hole in my heart ♥)

miwitch's REVIEW of Talika Lipocils Expert in 12 days (27 Sept - 8 Oct)

I used the sponge tip to go all over the roots of my upper and lower lashes and then brush my lashes in upwards motion (for upper lash only) with the brush.

In order to acheive the best comparisons of the lashes in photos, I took all photos in the same room, same lighting, same method using same camera.
However position of my eye might differ in every pic, the camera don't focus well at times and the photo brightness will be a little different too.
Plus, its EYELASH we're talking here, not a big object like TV or something... That would have been easier to shoot!
I'm sorry but my lashes are thin, not very long and full. So its very hard for me to focus the lashes easily without proper lighting and camera... >_< So this is the best I could provide.

Before you judge the product effectiveness base on my pictures and texts, please note the following:
- I try my best to use Lipocils Expert every Day & Night, but sometimes I forgot to apply either on the day or night but I DID apply it everyday.
- I feel that I have denser and longer lashes on my right eye than my left
- I have very droopy eyelids, which causes the lashes at most outer corner sometimes wandering into my eye, poking it.
- I have almost none (U_U") lower lashes, they are very thin & short and can even be counted using 10 fingers! (or maybe 20..)
- I have super sensitive eyes (super meaning is more than 'very'). Anything that goes into my eyes, I will tear buckets.
- The white part of my eyes are usually pinkish looking on normal days. Anything that hurts or stings my eyes, it will go bloody red.
And hence, I find that I'm rather a good subject for trying out a lash serum, I just hope I wont go BLIND trying out things on my eyes.. +_+"

On with the pics:
I PSed only the white parts as they are too scary looking, and I've sharpened alittle on the lashes for a clearer view.

Here, I try to spot the difference using the photos.
Infact, on the 3rd day (ie, 29 Sept) I already realised that my lashes are thicker!
Everyone like long lashes, but I DO NOT like the lashes at my outer corner of my eyes to be too long cos it will poke my eye sometimes due to my droopy eyelids. =( And then I will tear...

*Sorry for spelling mistake for Curlier (i spelt curvier.. hahax~ =p)

Whether the lashes are curlier than last time, I think they are but verrrrrrrrrrrrry little. I forgotten to take a sideview pic on first day to compare with this. *slaps head*
I have rather stubborn straight thin lashes as like my stubborn straight thin hair, so they are very hard to curl with curlers, I had to press the curler like 20 times in order to get them stay in shape before I apply mascara. Nowadays I find that its much more easier as they will stay at the curled shape for quite long even without putting on mascara!

Lastly and MOST IMPORTANTLY, this Lipocils Expert DOES NOT STING my eyes AT ALL! *YIPPE!!!!!!!!!!*
When I apply it just right at the base or roots of my lashes without the content going into my eye, I feel NOTHING! No sting!
But when the content goes into my eye, it stings verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrryyy little. I just blinked a few times and then its gone! I might tear a little due to the discomfort the little sting gave, but after awhile its ok. ^_^
I jus LOVE the feeling of no sting in compare to my DHC eyelash serum where it stings even when the gel is like a few mm away from my eyes.

This is only a 12-day efficacy test. We are suppose to come out with a 28-days efficacy test for Lipocils Expert.
