Gahhhhhhhh... The ends are almost grey! This hair dye is made in Thailand. There are no gloves, instructions manual slips, capes, hair conditioner/mask.. nothing.
*Note the exp date is May 2013!!! I only realised it after I used it. =_="
Berina Hair Color Cream Review
L'Oreal Paris EverStrong Deep Replenishing Masque Review
Don't be blaffed by the neon shade here, it only appear super purple because of the lighting... and I'm using the front cam of my Iphone. ^_^" Later in this post, you will get to see more of my LOTD~
OOTD: Rock on!!!
I was debating whether to wear this denim vest or not... Posted this on instagram, twitter & FB and everyone who replied said 'wear it'!
Oh, my purple eyes matches the web/fishnet tights. Thanks to Jerlaine for reminding me to wear PRETTY leggies, and so she kinda reminded me that I have these for a long time but haven't got chance to wear them. Super happy that I can put them on now~ Btw its actually a gift from Na. ^_^
Posted this on my Instagram
LUNA SEA The End of the Dream Asia Tour 2013
Gotta thank these people for bringing cameras and offering to take pics with me otherwise, I won't have any pics of me at the event. hahhax~
Here's me, Xinyi, Kiyora and Kiyora's friend. Credits to xinyi's camera and her bf, Jon.
I'm like a big giant beside them.... (<_<")
And thanks to Kai too for taking pic with me~ Why i look so upset? Cos my hair got centre parting?
I like her tattoo stockings! ♥ Just realised we both wear denim outers. hahax~
And finally inside the concert hall!! I think its fate that my Jrock 'old' friends (not old as in age..) came walking in infront of us. I literally just wave my hands into their face hahhax~
This is the one and only most beautiful picture I took using my iPhone... As can see, I'm at the upper deck. Alot of my friends are at the first level! I'm not a huge HUGE fan of LUNA SEA but I still love them especially Sugizo! ^_^ And I love Ryuichi's vocal~ It makes me tremble~~~
From the upper deck, I can clearly spot less than 10% of the fans are holding their phones/camera up to take pics/videos of Luna Sea when they were performing. When it come to silence moments, there will be more than 30% of the fans holding their phones up. And when they start performing again, all phones are down.
Unlike Kpop concerts (or MAMA which I went to), its like more than 30% of the fans will hold their phones up throughout the concert. I cant even see who is dancing infront of me. All I could see are the artistes through someone else's phone/camera screen. I think Jrock fans truely know how to enjoy a concert, they jump, they shriek, they headbang to every song that Luna Sea plays. I love this kind of crowd... or perhaps, its because we are older? I think most Luna Sea fans are like age 25 and above? lolx~ So we kinda feel tired holding a phone up for too long.. (besides Sebas that is. Lolx~)
After the concert, old friends gathered at Bugis for steamboat x BBQ. No need to say where I am, you can spot me even from another building.
An instagram pic of me and Mimi after the concert~ His pupils sho big!
LOTD with MUFE & Sleek Palettes
Left: MUFE TechniColor palette
Right: Sleek Carribean palette
I headbanged, I sweat, I ate steamboat.. and my hair & face is like this...
Eye makeup featuring the 'Lilac' shade from MUFE TechniColor palette and 'Purple Haze' from Sleek Carribean palette.
I applied Lilac all over my eyelid and then used Purple haze at the crease and outer corner. I need to practice more on shading dark colours as I always have 1 rounded corner and 1 sharp corner. *sigh~*
The MUFE Lilac colour-payoff is really great! When I apply it on my eyes, the colour is exactly how it looks like from the palette. You know when you use light shades, it often appear even lighter than the palette. Or most of the time I think it is until I met MUFE eye shadows. Gota ♥♥♥ them!
Sleek's Purple haze is also pigmented but I find it hard to blend it into MUFE Lilac. I can see obvious lines of the dark purple at my creases. PLUS, I lack the skill in doing such eye makeup properly, so the whole eyelid colour just look kinda uneven. I am sorry to have spoilt all of your eyes for looking at my ugly LOTD... ^__,^"""
To end this post with a CNY mood, I present you red flowers sold by JONES!
One JONES selling CNY decorations not enough, there must be another JONES selling flowers ah?

Ltd. has collaborated with Kurashiki Fashion Centre (and their 10 denim companies) to showcase and to operate test marketing at JRunway. This project aims to do branding, test sales and seek business matching opportunity within the domestic market with their quality denim products from Japan. To kick-off the project, a fashion runway show has been collaborated with Singapore’s well-known fashion school, LASALLE College of the Arts from its concept-making to the entire operation. All brands involved will also be exhibiting their merchandising samples for viewing.
ABOUT KURASHIKI DENIM INDUSTRY
“Kurashiki” is a name of local city in Okayama prefecture, well-known for manufacturing denim products. “Kurashiki Fashion Centre” is a company formed by several denim manufacturers and the local government of Kurashiki-city to pursue industrial development.

The craftsmanship which has been established over centuries is always combining with new, young, evolving ideas. Thus they maintain creating high quality jeans with sensitivity to the smallest details that is always attracting denim lovers all over the world.
In 1960s and 1970s where a huge number of Japanese brands appeared like bamboo shoots and started manufacturing jeans, Big John was born with pride as a manufacturer of domestic jeans among them. Pouring its ‘know-how’ accumulated from sewing work wear and uniforms originally in Kojima into denims, Big John has become a Japan-made jeans brand representing Kojima.

During the fashion show, besides getting my eyes glued to the hunks (uhhh-hum.) I also took a closer look at the details on all the designs, mostly the jeans and jackets. The buttons, pockets, up to the zips & seams were very nicely designed and sewn. I totally dig those jeans that the guys wore, they look so cool in them.
Here's the models dressed in denim apparels made by the 10 brands. I think my picture collage can serve as a 'How to dress in denims' reference book. Lolx~
*Note: I didn't post up all the pics I took as few of them were blur. Sorry for the semi-blur images. ▽ Click to enlarge images ▽

Beautiful Japan Denim Pop-up Showroom
After the event, we were also invited to view their pop-up showroom that was set up just a short distance away from the Plaza Singapura extension wing entrance
I totally love the pop-up showroom idea. It is fully air-conditioned (for spoilt singaporeans who hate hot weather, like me! Lolx~) and the afternoon sunlight shone through the glass windows making the interior look bright, yet cozy. Every product showcased inside this showroom appeared sharp and clear to my eyes and my camera lens.
Denim is a woven fabric that uses yarn like these.
They covered half of the floor with their denim fabric that look almost like my denim canvas shoes! haha~
commonplace half jeans sewn onto a denim fabric with their logo printed over in gold, such a beautiful artwork.
More jeans from SEAMS, on the racks & on the floor. Spot rainbow macarons in this pic. lolx~
Tie dye + distressed denim? So cool~
What I took from the pop-up showroom, lots of catalogues!
Among all, SEAMS catalogue stands out the most. They used their denim fabric to make a 'pocket', embroidered on one side and printed their logo on the other.

Vivi Magazine December 2012 scans ~ ZALORA haul
Last year December, I bought Vivi magazine from a neighbourhood mama shop and guess what... Its in ENGLISH!!!
Well, i didn't know Vivi has it in English until my friend Sel told me about it and said that the price is so much lower than the Jap Vivi mag so I went to get the December copy as it was the latest copy for the English version.
Usually I prefer the Jap version over the Taiwan one because the jap version is thicker (in pages) and has so many nice pictures & ads of their latest fashion, cosmetics stuffs. This time I just tot maybe I should give the English one a try! ^_^
Sexy Koda Kumi on Vivi cover~ More of her super SEXY and naked body IN this mag... huh huh~ (≧✯◡✯≦)
Vivi mag Back cover: Malaysia also launched Korean cosmetics - Peripera! (Singapore just had it not long ago in Watsons! ^_^)
How the content page looks like in English..
Apparently Vivi mag (eng) is from Malaysia, it was translated and published in Malaysia KL and some of the products mentioned in it are in Ringgit. Those that are not sold in Malaysia, they will still mention the price in Japanese Yen.
This, i believe is the Malaysia Vivi Star search. Not bad! Personally i still feel that, to be japish enough, they need to work more on their hair and clothes... Sometimes I just feel.. why must all models wear simple tops when they have their portrait taken, can't they be abit more creative? Cos its VIVI you are talking about, not any other local mags.. (Think harajuku) Perhaps I just dislike things that are too plain to my eyes... lolx~
Ok.. i duno why i post this.. Anyhoo this Halloween pics are taken at KL Butter factory! How i wish we have Vivi and Inglot in Singapore!!! &$^@(_@#)^($&#
Vivi mag doesn't have many pages on cosmetics and makeup, but more on fashion.. so here I just show 1 page for the purpose of showing k.. hehex~ I buy Vivi is for the fashion. I think vivi usually show fashion 80% and cosmetic 20%. ^_^
Look at the super fine prints.. most of them still state in Yen.
For December 2012, their main topic is about Leg Beautifying Techniques!!!
MY FAVOURITEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeee~~~~~~ ♥♥♥
They have tips and tricks on how to wear leg stuffs and how to match shoes with them!
Click the image to enlarge them, I had tried to ensure all fine prints are legible, but I can't help much for the reflected flash part. (>_<")
When I was in KL, a friend was looking for a leg slimming stockings (she preferred the panty hose type one) and mentioned that it works for her. I didn't use it before (cos u know why huh.. <_< my legs are.... skinny) so I just put this up as this was advertised in the Vivi mag under the leg beautifying techniques. I know Watsons and Sasa sell Leg slimming stockings too but I don't know if its the same brand as this?
Below, i'm showing my loots from ZALORA~~
Does this skirt look familiar to you? This skirt was actually shown on my previous ZALORA fashion fav blog post ←Clicky link.
This skirt is actually exactly the same as the one featured in Vivi Mag (eng) too!! Under the NEON FLOWER theme.
I really love it when I first saw it on ZALORA and what's even best... it is on SALES!!! If you want them, be quick! They only left 1-2 pcs for each size only!
Its said that this skirt is designed to fade to give a vintage inspired look. But they also give an option of minimizing the fading by washing it in cold water and not to tumble dry it.
MINKPINK Mutli Acid Trip Mini Skirts - only S$28 @ ZALORA (Japan sells it @ ¥6090 ~S$94 OMG WT..??!!!!)
I also got a Black-white stripe skirt which is pretty unique, its front is shorter than the back (this pic I shown the wrong side-back side ^_^" hahax~). Its actually not the same piece as the one in Vivi mag, i just show the mag as a reference. ^^
Black-white stripes are never out of fashion! So I think this piece can last me as long as I can still wear it lolx~
Evie Ivy Striped Skirt - only S$16.70 @ ZALORA (discounted price)
And that's all for a short intro on the Vivi magazine! ^_^ Sorry for such little scans! I am so bias... showing all the leg stuffs and none others lolx~ Its cheap nonetheless so I guess if anyone wants to read it, can buy it from... any mama shop. hahhax~
I think after reading this mag, I still prefer to get the Jap version! Because I feel I can get to know ALOT more on what's new in their fashion category and cosmetic launch in Japan. I like reading Jap ads actually! That's why I don't mind having to pay more to see more Jap ads on Vivi mag. Whahax~ (silly girl!)
Till then! Cheers! (●♡●)

Halloween 2012 Photoshoot: The Making & Bloopers ~ feat Midori Ribbon
When I began cosplaying, I had always wanted to do a few characters... before I thought of retiring from the cosplay scene.
One is character from Sailormoon, which I did the Sailor Pluto along with the whole Sailor team as its my first fav manga (will be posting pics of this photoshoot too... soon. lolx~)
Another is Jrock cosplay for various Shinya looks from Dir En Grey (I am still not done with it.. only had about 6 of his costumes)
Lastly, is to be a Witch. Be it a real character from manga/anime or a made-up one. (That's how my nick comes about...)
And there you have it! My inspiration for Halloween photoshoot came from this manga call ▼ Sugar Sugar Rune ▼
Though Sugar sugar rune is not about witches, the characters are... demon, devil, wizards but not witches.. However they fly around on brooms so I kinda think of them as witches.
Anyhoo, parts of my costume design is inspired by the fashion from Sugar sugar rune artwork. Their fashion has a mix of magical, fantasy, japanese plus english historical feel in it.
Hence, I make use of this feel to design my own costume~ Though I think my design's not really towards the Jap side but more of the magical+english? But I make use of a coloured wig to make it look slightly japish.
Costume Design
Below is my handdrawn Witch costume & broom design draft...
And below is Yuanie's Elf costume design draft done in photoshop. (I'm too lazy to convert mine into photoshop.. lolx~)
Here's how the characters actually look like in their normal day outfits.. a more Japanese feel compare to the first pic I shown.
Sourcing Materials
Sourcing materials for a self made-up character is more difficult than sourcing for an already made-up character whereby I just follow strictly to the picture and buy what is similiar to the artwork. Designing an outfit from scracth - this feeling is just like being a fashion designer yah?
Actually I already had a few ideas how the fabrics are like, but somehow few of them were bought just because they look beautiful to my eyes. Lolx~ Lucky me, all these fabrics matches each other well ^_^
As for Halloween props, most of them we just get from the pocket friendly and everything ready - Daiso!
Hey, Mimi!! Stop slacking on your job!!
We went to few places in search of parts and pieces for our costumes~
Our Halloween colour theme would be: Dark, Aristocrat yet Funky. (<_< WHAT IS THAT MAN?! HAhahax~)
Iron-on Rhinestone laces! I use this for the Neckline of my dress... but apparently got covered by my wig most of the time or its not really that visible cos its all black. DUH. =_=
Stepped into a costume & props shop~ Oh i like that Medusa head! My fav retro Villian! Maybe I should do it some day. kekekkex~
While having my costume being tailored, the only thing I need to sew myself is the hat. I hate hand sewing! =_=
Midori Ribbon
In my previous post, I did mention the use of Midori Ribbon in our costumes. So here's a clearer picture of the ribbons!
Mimi is curious too of what is inside the parcel~
I like Midori Ribbon's logo~ ^_^

I received 4 types of Ribbons from them! Of all, I used 3 of them in our Halloween costumes. I intend to use the blue on to do up something else, so it would be in a separate post. ^^
Midori Ribbon Promenade Ribbon in Henna

Midori Ribbon Dupioni Silk in Black

Midori Ribbon Dupioni Silk in Mica (I think its Mica.. definitely not Gold tho it look like vintage gold to me)

Costume
Here's how my costume turn out to be... some of the parts were different to the drawings but overall its pretty similar.
Rhinestone lace is ironed on along the neckline. The plastic belt thingy (not sure what its called, its not a belt either, but its beautiful~) is sewn on. Midori Ribbon Dupioni Silk Mica (vintage gold) is sewn around the waist to add a 3D effect to the dress and Midori Ribbon Dupioni Silk Black is sewn along the base of the dress ontop of the triangular flaps.
The hat is made base on this pic~ I end up sewing AND stapling the hat, cos I'm lazy. =P~
The bolero (cape-like outer) makes the whole costume look complete.
And not forgetting the most important prop, Witch's broom! Even without the witch pointy hat, but with a magical flying broom, it will automatically make the character look LIKE she's a witch. Playing with psychology~Hahhahax~
I love how the Dupioni ribbons twirls by itself casting nice shadows and relfects beautifully.
The Elf costume is made out of a long asymmetric turtle neck top (like a coat, but worn as a top) and a pants accompanied with a hat that Yuanie did by herself using craft foam, buttons & ribbons. The ribbons she used to accessorise over her top is also Dupioni silk ribbon + thin gold satin ribbon (I bought it). Gold chains are a last min add-on with help from Di, I'm amazed how that chain can hook onto the zipper so nicely! Its actually my gold chain belt you know... o_O"

Setup
The photoshoot is done at my house....... and i think this probably is the first time showing my messy working area... which is also part of the living room... >__<"
▲ Try spotting Mimi! ▲
Brian at my Dining area (the dining table moved to the left side) putting up the background (sewn together by Yuanie) & cobwebs. We didn't place the fake spiders onto the cobwebs because Mimi-
thought they were preys and he jumped onto the cobwebs trying to catch them. (<_<")
Pumpkins making out...
and below, is the acrylic crystal charm I wore for my character. I like the shape of the crystal!
Photoshoot time
Into my costume and done with makeup~ I didn't have any idea how I wanted my eye makeup to be (too busy with costume), I just leave it to my brain to think of it when I hold up my brush. Well, then it came out to be funky colours with edgy feel to it.. lolx~
Props up as well!~
Brian doing some test shot while I take some pics with mobile phone... The sky is dark so the pics from my mobile came out dull and noisy.

Behind the scene pics taken by Di~
We stop at our pose and looked up to the left side because there is a LCD TV there. Brian is making use of the TV to show us the pics, so we know if we want to retake again. Woots~ Kudos to technology~
I look like I have a pumpkin lantern floating above my hand..
Now you know how I FLY on my broom??
I am never short enough for anyone. Lolx~ Opps! =X
Even Mimi is also in the scary Halloween mood. He kept going under the dress and peaking out from the fabrics, then paws people's leg when we walk past.
Mimi says: YOU CANNOT SEE ME!!! (Like DUH?)
