After the presentation were done, we head outside for some FOOODDDD~ Yummy! If anyone wants to know, This caterer is CJS, they always make very nice food! =D

After our food and chit-chatting at the corridor, we went in SPA-LON again for some girly fun!

From reading the brochures, I've known that there is a product specially for dark eye circles, called the Eye Detox Contour Gel. $110 for 5ml! omg~
Eye dream which is not for dark circles, is only $90 for 15ml.
Now I duno which to buy... =_=

ARE YOU READY???? TO READ....

miwitch's REVIEW of Talika Lipocils Expert in 12 days (27 Sept - 8 Oct)

Close-up shots of Lipocils Expert applicator.
I used the sponge tip to go all over the roots of my upper and lower lashes and then brush my lashes in upwards motion (for upper lash only) with the brush.

In order to acheive the best comparisons of the lashes in photos, I took all photos in the same room, same lighting, same method using same camera.
However position of my eye might differ in every pic, the camera don't focus well at times and the photo brightness will be a little different too.
Plus, its EYELASH we're talking here, not a big object like TV or something... That would have been easier to shoot!
I'm sorry but my lashes are thin, not very long and full. So its very hard for me to focus the lashes easily without proper lighting and camera... >_< So this is the best I could provide.

Before you judge the product effectiveness base on my pictures and texts, please note the following:
- I try my best to use Lipocils Expert every Day & Night, but sometimes I forgot to apply either on the day or night but I DID apply it everyday.
- I feel that I have denser and longer lashes on my right eye than my left
- I have very droopy eyelids, which causes the lashes at most outer corner sometimes wandering into my eye, poking it.
- I have almost none (U_U") lower lashes, they are very thin & short and can even be counted using 10 fingers! (or maybe 20..)
- I have super sensitive eyes (super meaning is more than 'very'). Anything that goes into my eyes, I will tear buckets.
- The white part of my eyes are usually pinkish looking on normal days. Anything that hurts or stings my eyes, it will go bloody red.
And hence, I find that I'm rather a good subject for trying out a lash serum, I just hope I wont go BLIND trying out things on my eyes.. +_+"

On with the pics:
I PSed only the white parts as they are too scary looking, and I've sharpened alittle on the lashes for a clearer view.

Here, I try to spot the difference using the photos.
Infact, on the 3rd day (ie, 29 Sept) I already realised that my lashes are thicker!
Everyone like long lashes, but I DO NOT like the lashes at my outer corner of my eyes to be too long cos it will poke my eye sometimes due to my droopy eyelids. =( And then I will tear...

*Sorry for spelling mistake for Curlier (i spelt curvier.. hahax~ =p)

Whether the lashes are curlier than last time, I think they are but verrrrrrrrrrrrry little. I forgotten to take a sideview pic on first day to compare with this. *slaps head*
I have rather stubborn straight thin lashes as like my stubborn straight thin hair, so they are very hard to curl with curlers, I had to press the curler like 20 times in order to get them stay in shape before I apply mascara. Nowadays I find that its much more easier as they will stay at the curled shape for quite long even without putting on mascara!

Lastly and MOST IMPORTANTLY, this Lipocils Expert DOES NOT STING my eyes AT ALL! *YIPPE!!!!!!!!!!*
When I apply it just right at the base or roots of my lashes without the content going into my eye, I feel NOTHING! No sting!
But when the content goes into my eye, it stings verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrryyy little. I just blinked a few times and then its gone! I might tear a little due to the discomfort the little sting gave, but after awhile its ok. ^_^
I jus LOVE the feeling of no sting in compare to my DHC eyelash serum where it stings even when the gel is like a few mm away from my eyes.

This is only a 12-day efficacy test. We are suppose to come out with a 28-days efficacy test for Lipocils Expert.
I came out with the test earlier cos I haven't got time to post about the bloggers event last month. So, I thought I might as well post a 12 day first as a teaser or something. More like I wanted to know the results myself. =p
Hang on to your pants! I'll be back with the 28-days test review! (^,~)v♥

Shot 28 Aug, 8 & 9 Sep: OOTDs ~ LOTDs

Something off topic for a while.. I've always said my cat drools on keyboard and some of you might wonder how he actually can DROOL on my keyboard.. So here is..
My lovely Mimi the cat (its a boy!) who is in his cutest position.... : On my lap. (XD~)

In middle of night when he can't sleep or gets bored from doing nothing but sleep, he will stand up and put his paws on my chair, looking up at me to ask for my permission to cuddle him.
And so here is his usual position: Head on my right arm (sometimes even lying his whole head on it till my arms got numb), his body on my lap, under the keyboard slider (is that what you call it, slider?)...
Sometimes he will lay his head on the slider when his neck gets tired, resulting drools on the keyboard...

When I whip out my camera, he claws at the strap... He's a very good clawer i must say, hence the scars on my hands and leg...
He stays on my lap for about 15-30 mins before finally realising that he's not in a good sleeping posture, and Off he goes to lay somewhere more comfortable... =^.^=
One more extra picture of his head on the slider: (pic taken long ago)

Right, on to the usual stuffs.. //^____^//

Nowadays, I dress up in styles that suits my hair. I chose clothes towards rock, punk, manly styles. I'd neglected my sweet, cutesy dresses for some time ever since my hair got cut to this length. (,=∧=,)

On 28 Aug, my OOTD: Stylish Boy look

Again, with my hairstyle I am not able to pair it with a pretty white dress in cute shoes and all that.. Urghhh.. (kinda start to get frustrated with super short hair now..>,<)
So I thought of wearing a blouse but pair with a skirt. Formal at the top but yet playful at the bottom. So here is...

Well yah, it happens to me zillion of times.
I have this borderline that my eyeshadows will always stop at, and it doesn't ever go beyond it. I feel that there is this big lobang (empty space) between the brow and my e/s border line (as drawn on left pic)
I been telling myself many times to blend the colours higher! HIGHER! But it just don't go up!
But this time! I think I broke that line! See how "ROUND" my e/s appears on my lid on the right pic, compare to the left which is "FLAT". HA,HA! YES I did it!

On 9 Sept, my colleagues and I had a dinner gathering at Robertson Quay. There's this new shop opened by my colleague's husband. They sell North Indian food! YUM! One of my favourite! I just can't stop thinking of NAANsssssss (credits http://www.sailusfood.com).

Their shop is call BAR BAR BLACK SHEEP, selling North Indian Cuisines. Its very very nice OMG, I think I was the only person who ate ALOT. XD~
If you girls often go to the quay, you can try this out! Beside this store, is another bar selling beer and such (I'm not an alcohol person, i know NUTS about them...~_~) The 2 stores share the same building. So you can eat naans and drink beer. kekekex~

Well then, since I thought of Quay, I thought of sitting near the river (indeed we were! so cooling and cozy~) relaxing, chit chat-ing while having my favourite Naans... etc..
So I plan to dress in my utmost relaxed mode... style. ---- Beach wear!
OOTD: Relax mode look
Inner Red Spag: Chinatown Level 2
Frilly Blue Shorts: Chinatown Level 2
Flamingo Racer Back Long Top: Pull & Bear
Necklace & Leather Bracelet: China
Gladiator Shoes: AMK HUB Black Hammer

Beachy (not bitchy!) LOTD:
Face - SANA Pore Putty Makeup Base Clear
- L'EGERE White Multi BB Cream
- MAC Studio Finish Concealer
- SANA PorePutty Moist Face Powder
Brow - NOEVIR excel Strong Liquid Eyebrow SWP #SL3
Eyes -
KATE eye gel shadow in Pink
- O2 Skin in MC2947 (Yellow) & MC2911 (Green)
- VOV Eyeshadow Palette 05 (Blue)
- Fresh Minerals Waterproof Liner in dark brown
- KissMe Heroine Make long & curl mascara
Lips - Callas Lip Liner in BE01
- YSL Rouge Volupte 30 Lipstick
I love how the Coral lips matches well with the eye makeup! ^.^ But the lipstick ends up together with my Naans, in my stomach =p

IGNOTE MY MESSY BROWS!! (AGAIN!)
The e/s appears rather translucent or washed-off.. O2 Skin seem to be not very pigmented and blendable. VOV works alittle better than O2 Skin.

O2 Skin in MC2947 (Yellow) & MC2911 (Green)
VOV Eyeshadow Palette 05 (Blue)

And Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to all muslims out there! May you get as many 'green' pows as possible!

Till then! Cheers! (●♡●)

Product names written and coloured in turquoise were given by its company to me for trial.

Estee Lauder & BB, Peach Lipstick and other Swatches + 1 haul

Swatches of Foundation Bases:
Estee Lauder Double Wear Light Liquid Foundation in Intensity 2.0 (See available shades here)
and
HAOJS CC Perfect Repair Cream (BB) Foundation

Due to its taken in dim lighting, the colours might not be accurate. Hence I did the swatch twice on my arm and back of hand.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Light: Yellowish tone. Creamy feel at beginning, starts to turn matt quickly when blended out. Light to medium coverage depending on how much you use.
HAOJS Repair BB: Beige tone. Looks thick but infact very watery when blended out. Somehow brightens up your skin alittle. Very minimum coverage to almost none. Appears to feel like tinted moisturizer. Gives a glossy finish to your skin.

When tissue pressed against foundation:
Estee Lauder...not transfer-proof I must say.
Wherelse for HAOJS, I kind of used more pressure than that of Estee Lauder's in order to get that brown colour stains on the tissue. Infact, more water(or oil?) was captured instead of the foundation colour.

Swatches of Nude to Peachy Lipsticks:
Shiseido Perfect Roughe BE109: My nudest of all my nude lipsticks (can compare with NYX Circe) but its more moisturizing than NYX's
Callas Sheer Coco
BourJois Rough Clubbing Pretty Nude: Has glitters!
Revlon Color Burst Peach

Randon Swatches of Liners & Blush:
Stage Gerbera Blush
: Suppose to look peachy... hmm...
Majolica Majorca LE Perfect Automatic Liners: Gotta love the white liner! It kind of reminds me of glow in the dark objects...

And 1 MAC Haul I had totally forgotten about it! And this further adds up to my concealer collection...

Something happened to my dog! Baby went to Martial Arts Federation to learn....

◈◈◈Coming up: ELF Eyelid Primer review, Fashion shot with fashion haul, MM event pics

Shots 2009 (Camwhore of dressups, makeups & hairstyles)

Before my PC was recovered (due to harddisk failure), I had took alot of pics of my dressups, makeup trials, hairdos during end of 2009.
After my PC was replaced with a new harddisk and many of my old files were saved by my friend from the old harddisk, I had totally forgotten about the pics I took last year..
Today I am bored so I took a tour around my old files and I saw I still have many photos yet to be posted..

So here they are! Pls endure my 'act cute' expressions... ^.^"  I've only selected few postable pics, while others I seemed to be quite..... uh, nevermind.

First Shot: White satin blouse + light denim jumper-skirt
As you can see, I can't deny that I have 'nothing' to show even if I'd unbuttoned my blouse all the way down... OTL|||| (trying to be sexy but nothing to show heh)

2nd Shot: Cotton On Tee + soft tulle skirt + leopard print long cardigan
Trying to show the *new* Leopard print hairclip I just gotten from Helen.

3rd Shot: Doing the 'Shinya' thing
Lipstick using Mavala Lipstick. Supposely should show alittle more to magenta side but because of my orange lighting in the hall, all colours had turned more to reddish/orangey..

Lipsticks & Lipglosses: (from L to R) Shiseido, Callas, MAC, Rimmel, Mavala

Shot 13 Apr 2010, Teethcare to Skincare to Makeup Hauls

13 April: A mixture of spring with winter style..... Uh hum, who am I joking? I just ran out of ideas of matching up my clothings!
My top was purchase at Bugis, match with black cotton leggings from Dorothy Perkins (bought at special offer and glad that it was long enough for me!), and no brand furry ankle boots from overseas. And surprisely, this top makes my bust look fuller.. ^_^"""
Wore this outfit and went out with Selphie to Chinatown, I HAD to go get my stuffs after not being able to go out for 1 whole month cos of work! (Most of the time end up buying stuffs online.. -_-")

Watsons Haul: All about teeth... And I FINALLY FOUND BF Cooling Mist!!!)(%)($%_)^($%+)(&@&$^ (I'm too happy to express my feelings the right way)
Only after I bought Colgate Whitening Toothpaste did I saw many blogged about Theramed.. I am using Colgate's now and hoping to see some results soon!!

IvyCosmetics Hauls: All about Skincare and Makeup

Callas Lip Liner $9.90 (free 1 refill) & Callas Lipstick $14.90:
I found out that the lipstick was kinda spoilt after I opened it up at home hence no swatches.. :(
I had been using Callas Lipliners for 2 years now. It is so far the nudest liner I can find (to cover pigmented lips) and is retractable, unlike the MAC lipliners which need to be sharpened. Callas lipliner has a nude pink and nude beige colour, and I liked both!

Shiseido Eyelash Curler Refill Pads $5.60
Ogle Fake Eyelashes (3 for $7)
: I got 2 & Sel got 1. I don't use fake eyelash in daily basis.. I probably only touch them about once every quarter year. ^_^"
Eyelid stickers $3.90
Eyelash Curler $9.90: My previous' casing is in bad condition, I got frustrated and went to get a new one. Tried this new one and liked it better than the old!

Flare Short Black Fake Lower Eyelashes $2.90: Deciding to share with my fellow cosplay groupmates with this lower lashes when intime for dressup!
Ogle Fake Eyelashes: Like the fact that the bone is thin unlike some others where the bones base are thick and unbendable which will irritate my eyelids.

Clinique Turnaround Concentrate (3 for $19.90): While everyone are using it now, I HAD to get one to try too! Indeed its sooo smooth after application!
Clinique Moisture Surge $12: Forever no stocks when I always ask for it... Luckily that day they have alot!

Some interesting facts of using this Eyelash Curler... Will it actually do that?

Lancome Blanc Expert Anti-Dark Circles Eye Serum ($9.90)
Full product is $65. Texture is smooth thin lotion kind, after effect is matt smooth. I saw some shiny particles from the content and realise it does have MICA in it (underlined in below pic)..

Lancome UV Expert GN-Shield Sunblock ($9.90)
I had been wanting to check out the new range of Lancome Blanc Expert, namely the Blanc Expert GN-White Agefight which is a whitening serum designed to fight skin yellowing and loss of firmness. (Half copied from the website). Saw from 女人我最大, intro by the teacher and I'm so tempted to get it! But the full product price is $185! Hence I wanted to get sample size to use instead... ^_^""
Sadly at IvyCosmetics, all I can find was the dark circles serum and sunblock.
The old version of UV Expert I had was NeuroShield, while new one is GN-Shield.

Front Door Mini Haul: www.eternalglam.blogspot.com
A guy came knocking at my door one night and introduced this $4 nail buffer to me (Originally sold at $7.90, so ex!). It was few cents ex than Bodyshop's even after discount, but I still bought 1 to try since when you will have someone selling you such things at your doorsteps?
1 look at it, I feel that the address printed on every side is totally not neccessary. I will get black inks on my nails if I were to buff over those words.
After using, I had decided not to patron this site as the buffer is none better than Bodyshop's. The Step 1 once used, you can't used it again for 2nd time as the surface had became flattened.
The good side is only the last step for making your nails shine. And that's all for reviewing this $4 nail buffer. =_="
