For the past 2 months and July, I spent quite alot on Fashion stuffs and I got many unread magazines! Finally, today I opened up all of them to 'scan' the pages.. *Phew*~ I hope my efforts will be appreciated much~ ^^

Total of 28 items (I forgot what other 8 items were..Hmm...) ~$100 : The stuffs weren't that great. I find that only Rings and pleather bracelets are the most worth as their quality is much better than the rest of the accessories.

Casal Black Ankle Heels $46.50: CHEAP! It was $155 before~ I'm lacking of many Black stuffs, hence from now on I'm trying to collect black coloured items ^^

LovelySpree Haul RANT
I just want to do a short review of the clothes I bought from LovelySpree.
One fine day, I came across their Facebook and I started browsing their site. Then realise that many bloggers bought clothes from them and reviewed saying the stuffs they bought are wonderful. Hence, I think no further and proceed to ordered 3 clothes and 1 belt.
Angelic cowgirl chiffon dress $18.20

Total $66.90 spendings with shipping.
When the parcel came and I opened it up. I was SUPER AWED to see that the clothes look SHO AWFUL! I haven't even tried but already know they will look awful is because of the material/fabric used to make these clothings!
I pasted the original pics compare to the clothes I received below. Some of you who can't make out the exact material used just by looking at my pics, would probably think that its almost identical to the advertised item. Yes, the design look similar but the Materials are just..... YUCKS!
I tried the clothes, and find that Angelic cowgirl chiffon dress is made of a rough chiffon (Can even see that the material is not as flowy as the original and crumples easily) plus I couldn't even squeeze through the chestline when wearing it. I managed to get through finally but the dress look alittle akward. The cutting isn't the same as the original. MAYBE I will wear this again when I'm in the mood.
For Camel Halter, the material weren't as what I had expected but it is still consider fine. At least the best among the 3 clothes I bought. However the fabric sheds little residues. The fabric is somewhat like suede and I reckon this cannot be put into washing machine or otherwise it will shed like crazy!
ONE thing that I do not want to even TALK about it is the Pink Mint Imiusa blouse. JUST LOOK at the 2 Comparison photos! THEY ARE NOT THE SAME! The material is so rough and paper-like, totally not flowy at all. The moment I took it out from the wrapping, I immediately relate it to AUNTIE. I shall pass this on to any AUNTIE to wear. SO NOT GOING TO WEAR THIS! And this cost freaking $20+ where I can get this like $5 from some market.
And lastly, the belt. I can buy this from stores at 2 for $5. WASTE MY MONEY buying it, the material is too soft, doesn't feel like its a belt even!
I shall not shop there again. Perhaps for others who love their clothings are the lucky ones who bought the nice clothes or their taste is bad. I'll say that I RATHER spend my $66.90 in GMarket and get 5 times better quality products from them!!! PFFT! You may think what all these fuss about, and I only spent $66.90? Well, I like buying cheap stuffs online and I'm prepare to take risks, usually 1 item of all would be bad but others are all good. But for this, its ALLLLL BAAAAD... I compared with FaireBelle, THEIR stuffs are so much better than LOVELYSPREE, and the prices are similar too!
I actually even tried to apply for writing a review on lovelyspree items, hoping they'll send me something. Now, I just dun wana talk abt them anymore. So much for all the nice reviews. Hmph. =^=

雨女 or あめ　おんあ　or ame onna (literally - Rain girl) is the term given to a person who seems to always bring the rain with her when a picnic or outdoor celebration is planned.
I personally am very fond of clothings and boots designed just for Rainy days. I wonder why the hell my granny didn't buy any cute rain boots for me to wear to school, but instead tied 2 market plastic bags OVER my school shoes and ask me to walk to school, surprising all my classmates with my super dry shoes regardless of the heavy downpour before. ^_^" Wat a funny culture Singapore has!
This my first time seeing someone wearing geek specs with Kimono! But still sho cute! ^_^ Talking about Kimono, we thought of Natsu Matsuri.
This year there will be one happening on 20 August at Japanese Primary School (Changi). Its fun! And super packed too every year! However this year's Natsu clashes with STGCC (Cosplay event) so I reckon many cosplayers will skip Natsu. If you like Japanese culture too just like me, you MUST visit Natsu Matsuri! It will be an eye opening event for you if its your first time! ^_^ BTW, my friend Selphie is performing AKB48's dance. Do watch out for this performance if you are there! =3

Just to explain why the theme 'Ah-Lian'. My friend and I went into Watsons passing by 2 BAs (older age than us) and one of them went something like "Aiyah, just some AH-LIANs LAH!" Saying it out loud just when we walked past them. Reason why probably both of our hair are blonde (mine blonde yellow, my friend's blonde ash)
As usual, I don't pick up fights or arguements with strangers, so I just kept quiet. Seriously thinking those people who give names about others, are meaning to say that they are one themselves. So we got 2 Old ladies who wants to be Ah-lians themselves (But cant) in Ngee Ann city Watsons, jealous of our hair and our dress-up?... kekex.. Watever it is, I dun really care. As long as I like the way I style myself will do ^^

Lastly, my mimi to end the post. ^_^ I did this to him cos I saw a video of a cat's head popping out from a jacket sleeve, its sho cute!! >o<

My Birthday Celebration - Oct 2010 & OOTD

On October, the scorpio celebrated her birthday with different people on different days.
Most of the time had fun eating, had fun taking photos, and most importantly, had fun receiving presents! (Well, who dun like presents?!)

I really really like the aesthetics of the packaging. Its fully chrome surface and it reflects at all angles even the interiors! I spotted this compact previously at Sasa while I was purchasing my Cyber Colors Pudding Foundation. When I swatched it, i find the glitters really beautiful! I lemmed on it ever since.
Na knew I wanted it and so psycho-ed my friend to get it for me. hehhex! THanks both of u (one for the effort and one for forking the $$$) Xp~
When I first used the compact ontop of my BB cream, I find that the glitters is really quite alot and the tone is not really skin matching. It appears to me more like a bronzer. I felt my whole face was reflecting lights everywhere.. hahhax~

Lippy gifts from Na~~ Very small but very expensive stuffs! I almost wanted to fork out my own money to get it but she hint me not to get OCC. Anyways that's not a hint anymore.. I already KNEW she's getting it for me! Yeah~ *hearts*

On a my birthday, I visited my grandma & eldest aunt to treat them for a nice seafood dinner.
My grandma had just moved this year from her very old old old house (yes, i repeated old cos that house is so old that it has big deep cracks on the walls! Scary!) to this new house @ Bendemeer. I'm happy to see her living comfortably in this new house. I kinda like it there too, feels so comfy that i almost fell asleep on the couch. kekeex..
Oh! And i totally love the window 'seats' idea! I want that too for my own house but I had floor length windows for my living room. =\

On halloween I got a surprise gift from di, sel & nessa! I didn't thought they would actually get me a present bcos sometimes I forgotten about their birthdays *guilty* and didn't get any gifts for them *guilty x 99*... They're so thoughtful, they knew I like cats and probably also bcos I always carry alot of things around when I dressup for occasions, they get a medium size handcarry bag for me to put my clothings and such. And maybe i can use this for hand carry luggage to Japan too! =D
One look at it, I know its from ARTBOX. XD~ kekkex..
P/S: I bring my Nyanpire everywhere i go now! teehee..

PP/S: I REALLY start to miss my long yellow hair... (>'"<||) I had decided I'm going copper the next round! Fufufufuufu~

I had short hair for sometime already but not able to update the pics yet as I've got too much of the other stuffs to post (with my long hair)... So ya, you'll be seeing my long hair still, for like a few more posts before I show my short hair ones. I'd been having lots of fun taking my short hair, so I didn't really miss my long hair, infact I love the short hair now, so cooling no sweating like hell like last time! ^_^ And lesser maintenance to do!

But this time I used my newly bought Kate Gel eye shadow in Gold as base before I layer with inuovi eyeshaodow in Rich Gold. I loving the glitters! ^_^

I bought Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant at my facial salon and got a free pack of miniature skincare products in hydration series.
I haven't opened up the pack yet since I'm still on my current skincare regimen, maybe till I finishes them then probably I would give this a try.

In my previous skincare regimen post, I talked about this product. Here, shows the dry powder content., I couldn't take pic of the paste form as I need to use 2 wet hands to turn it into paste, and I don't have a 3rd hand to hold the camera. ^_^"
As seen, the powder content isn't fully filled in the bottle. The cap is threaded kind which prevents the cap from opening up easily and hence the powder won't spill out if you accidentally drop the bottle.

When I got home, I got a surprise gift on my table! AHAVA skincare miniatures! I've seen this brand but had never heard of any reviews of it. Has anyone heard of or is using this now? I would like to know if its good... =D

And I've gotten Garnier Light freebies from my beloved disciple at workplace. I'm thinking of giving this away on my next giveaway~ ^_^

Hauls @ Tampines Mall - AQUALABEL, Ms. Makeup, Manicare

Yesterday, after class @ Bugis, I went to Tampines to catch the Watsons sales at Tampines Mall Atrium.
Actually I wanted to take some pics of the fair but my hp run out of battery. The fair is not big, it filled the atrium infront of Isetan but there are lots of room for walking still. I only saw a few brands displayed like Aqualabel, Majolica Majorca, ZEA, Bio-essence, Skin79, Avene and some others...

When I saw the fair, I immediately went up to Aqualabel counter without even pausing to look around first, as I've already got an idea what I wanted to buy (and psycho myself buy these and NOTHING MORE!)

And here's what I've gotten...
Whitening Cleansing Foam $16.90
Whitening Deep Clear Cleansing Oil $18.50
Moisturising Aqua Enhancer MO $24.90

According to the BA, the whitening range and Acne range are usually used by acne prone skin people. So I guess the blue range is fine for me. I was rather worried its either too dry or too oily.
I took the facial foam mainly because 1) I running out of one; 2) I saw the demo of the video in FB.
The oil cleanser was highly recommended by Na & a few other bloggers who had tried out during their facial, hence I have no doubt about it! ^.^
For the Enhancer MO, I chose the moisturising range as the BA says it has collagen (I ♡ the word Collagen!) Supposedly I should have read the specs of each and every product so I can just grab and go, but my brain is feeling lazy to memorise everything. =p

Mini review:
Cleansing Oil: As described by Na, its really watery! Doesn't leave my face dry or oily after washoff.
Cleansing Foam: Alot of foam yes! Includes some white clay granules, but feels rather dry & alitte tight after washoff.
Aqua Enhancer MO: Feels like toner but alittle thicker infact. Doesn't give greasy feel after patting the content to my face. Face don't look oily (like the times when I use my other moisturiser at the last step).

Total spent of $60.30, I gotten 2 free facial coupons. (1 free facial for $30 spent) And since I had 'Liked' the Aqualabel page in FB, I got additional 1 more!
The BA asked me to login to FB using their lappy and she searched to see if I had liked their page, so..... you girls better don't forget to 'LIKE' their page or try to blaf through the BAs! ^o^~

Side note: I so wanted to buy a sun pact too from Skin79, but na didn't want it anymore so I guess its also good too. So I can spend lesser! I was just very tempted by that pink diamond bluetooth earpiece and the free limited set of BB creams! *slaps own head* Don't think about it anymore!
Unless someone who won the earpiece, can give it to me? =p I prefer the earpiece over BB!

Another one of my Happiest purchase ^▽^ coming up!! This Ms. Makeup eye blending brush was bought from a new store name SHINS @ Tampines Mall #02-16C.
I was attracted by their very bright and neat store, so I went in and asked the BA whether its a new store and if they have other outlets. She says SHINS is the first store to be opened in Singapore, they have many outlets in Malaysia and reading from their newsletter, SHINS is already 10 years old!

I was infact looking for Ecotools because I just bought 1 from Watsons not long ago and I love its texture, so smooth, so soft! SHINS also sell Ecotools but wasn't on sales or promotion, hence I looked for alternatives and I saw this! Ms. Makeup tools!
The packaging was pretty and unique. I asked BA if I can feel the brush and she let me. ^_^ When I swipe the brush on my back hand, immediately I felt OhHhhhh so soft, so thick! I use my fingers to touch and pinch it, and I was totally SOLD! XD~ The BA added on, (in mandarin) the brush is made by natural animal fur (what animal, i'm not sure?), the fur can capture shadows better and it can make your lids look matt because natural fur can absorb sebum from your lids, while synthetic ones can't .
The brush's packed densely, thick, and very soft. The handle has this rubber grip design that make it not easy to slip off your hands/fingers.
And guess what, the price is only $10! Comparing to the brushes that Sasa sells for a price range of $10~20, I definitely like Ms. Makeup better! (I hope its good too when I use it!)

She's so cute, kept sharing with me all the cute designs of the planner and the ribbons... I just can't resist those stuffs that she recommended me. >∆< She kept going "CUTE Right?! CUTE Right???!" and then show me this ^____^ face... sigh~

Come to think of it, I just realised I am now addicted to Onsugar.... Before I started blogging here, I was at Livejournal. And seeing na's (everbluec) posts in here, I kinda think "what's all the fuss about Onsugar? Isn't it the same as LJ?" Well now I know why. (You duno? Go and find it out yourself. =p)

A blink of an eye, I am already about 4 months old on Onsugar! And hitting 50 followers soon! (Slow I know... u_u I am not a person who blogs because I want alot of followes, but yes I do like the feeling that people is following and reading my blog and comment how nice my LOTD, OOTD are.. Well, don't you too? ^_^)
I am thinking of doing a mini giveaway for this small celebration. However I must confess that I am not really a makeup junkie, but yes again I do buy MUs still, however not as much as the other onsugarettes do. So my giveaway will definitely be something that has FASHION in it. =D

I consider myself more of a Fashion person, always wanting to buy more clothings, accessories, shoes... Because I think clothes meant alot more to me than makeups. It makes my mood good when I look pretty in it, and even from 10 metres away people can see my dressup. =p
To some people, I wear weird. But I won't care as long as I think I look good in it. (Probably will think back after 10 yrs that I DO look weird in it. hehex..)
Sometimes I do feel that I'm quite showy too. I'll feel alittle embarrased because people are looking at me but sometimes I can be super showy too. My mood's always changing and my fashion sense changes with it. =)

I'm happy that my followers not only follow me to read about my makeups but also to know about my fashion. I know there are lesser fashion junkies here than Makeup junkies nevertheless, I will still post entries of my dressups. Maybe, in future I will have my turn to inspire someone elses in their fashions(?) ^.^"
