haha in the last picture, that thing is for make up artists to scrape off a little bit of lipstick and then use a lip brush to get the product from the metal thing instead of directly from the lipstick tube. for hygiene purposes! but i think it can be used for other stuff, not just lipstick...

They also use that to scrape off lipgloss from the wand. LOL.

HAhaha.. the pic of the mua was blurry~ (paisey la.. who ask you say "No Flash" hahaha)

Just to clear the air of doubt regarding the metal tool (that looks like a butter knife) in my colleague's brush pouch - That's what we call a 'spatula'! Use for mixing or pre-application of foundation, concealer, lipstick, gloss (for any liquid, cream or emollient products) to prevent contamination / hygiene purposes! *annalim & junkshion got it right!* However, we do not use that for food or spread foundation like peanut butter on clients' faces... hahaha
