My hair went through thorough bleaching to make every strand equally blonde. ^^ Then they cut my fringe straight..

I love this hair colour much because there were quite a number of compliments, including small kids! ^^ They even try to touch my hair to see if its real! Lolx~ They r so cute~

Sitting at Evolve Salon waiting for the hair colouring to begin, I started playing with the props that are lying around. lolx~

The person you see here is Dylan, leading hair stylist of Evolve Salon. I super like him doing hair colouring, he's expert in playing with a variety of hair colours! 'Nothing is Impossible' is his favourite quote! ^.^ And later you'll see the result!~

It ain't an easy thing to be hair model nor it's a glamorious thing, it takes alot of time (mostly waiting), alot of hunger (skip meals), alot of tries (on costume), alot of patience (waiting, combating sleepiness, making the costume with Dylan when I'm almost dead beat & breathing in foul smelling spray paint mask *faints* ). But overall, I had quite alot of fun with Dylan while being his model as he's a sweet guy~ ^^

And with that super short fringe, I don't really dare to go out without a hat/cap! So yah, this hat is my everyday fringe camo! :p

 

After a month, I got my hair cut even SHORTER!~ As can see here again, cap to camo my super short fringe. Keeke~

Reason being THIS▼ GOLDWELL Hairshow (Spot the old grandma and you got me! Hahahha~ My lips colour is the same as my dress.)

Here's closer look of my short hair cut and colour. This one's done by Ken Hong.
I went through another round of thorough bleaching (VERY OUCH! >_<" I nearly faints after withstanding long hour of bleaching, then scalp starts to turn flaky), and then grey colourant is added to make it look super bluish grey. Underneath the grey is still blonde.

Another 1 month past.... thank god my fringe is longer now too. And the greyish dye faded to blonde again.
I went back to Evolve Salon to finally get my Egyptian hair cut into ROCK STYLE!!!!~ ♥♥♥ (cut by Ken Hong, within 5 mins its done & styled!)

I'm given this hair treatment FIOLE neoprocess treatment system np3.1 (+1) by Dylan to treat my hair ends as they are over bleached hence became really dry and frizzy. Its texture is like silicon. This is suppose to be used on damp hair, then blow dry it and you'll get smooth, tangle-free hair.

To maintain my hair colour, I bought Sunsilk Keratinology Sun Kissed Colour Theraphy Conditioner. I had repurchased keratinology products for few times now, ever since I was given a set of keratinology hair products. (Click HERE for review) I ♥ them!

I was given these by GOLDWELL. The conditioner for Warm Brown hair is additional, perhaps I could use this in about a month's time as I'm thinking to dye my hair to a darker colour! ^^

 

The next round of hair dyeing probably will be on June! I'm resting my scalp now as it seems like its still flaking.. Even though my new grown oily black hair is already about 2 cm long, I still experienced slight dandruff from the scalp falling on my shoulders.. Everyday, I'm spending alittle more time in shampooing my scalp with care to make sure all dead cells comes off, in hope that it will stop flaking~

The next dye I want my hair to be Orange-Pink... Or maybe Coral? (Is this colour even achievable? ^^")

Even for the packaging, they are all written in Korean, hence I do not know what are the ingredients of this product.
However I could figure out that the main ingredients are all natural as they are extracted from plants (as shown in the above picture).

With all the 'NONs', I feel super safe using this product! I specially like it when it states Non Comedogenic so I won't experience clog pores that might result to pimples then inflammation etc...
The product bottle is rather big, it is in a glass bottle with pump type of dispenser (and a cute cap! ^^).

It is a clear liquid. In it, little bubbles are visible.
Shown on my fingers is 2 pumps of serum.
As can see from below picture, the serum got absorbed into the back of my hand and shows no trail of gloss or greasiness on the surface of the skin.
But using it onto hand might or should I say, USUALLY differ from using it on the face.

And therefore, I came out with a face swatch. ^_^
All these pictures are taken with a table lamp under a white lighting.
Pls note: Different lighting & camera angles will produce different looks hence do not take my pictures as 100% accurate. (though they are all true with minimum photoshopping, mostly done by only bringing up the brightness & sharpness)

My REVIEW on CAOLION Pore Minimizing Serum
I already have large visible pores that kinda look like tadpole lines since like... few years ago. It's because of the lack of collagen in my skin.
I also have scars on face due to the many oil spots and blackheads form along my jaw line and once awhile on my cheek and corner of nose area.
I shall share with you below how I feel about the serum and how it combat my existing skin problems. ^^

While using the Serum, I find:
- the serum texture is watery, light-weight, super easy to spread out
- totally no fragrance or smell
- it feels soothing
- it is easily absorbed to skin in just few seconds after blending it out
- 2 pumps of serums is more than enough for the whole face + neck
- it felt sticky after absorbed to skin (reminds me of hyaluronic acid because they also gives a sticky after effect)
- it doesn't feel thick/ heavy/ greasy on my face after application, basically it only felt a little sticky and looks slightly glossy
- face feel slightly firm up
- I always find some small whitish particles (like those eraser dust) on my face while & after applying serum, might be form due to the conflict of products or residue left by cotton pad while toning, otherwise it might be the black/white heads coming off from the pores? (like the diagram shown in the CAOLION advertising picture. I would really be happy if they are the 'bad' particles that came off from my pores! ^_^)

After using the Serum for 3 weeks, I find:
- pores slightly minimised, instead of oval shape pores, it became roundish
- most of the tadpole lines that are shortened compare to previous
- skin feel slightly firmer than last time, especially the cheek area
- skin moisture and sebum is maintained at good level, face doesn't feel any oilier than before
- almost no oil spots found during these 3 weeks, even if have, they are really very small and diminish on the next day
- big difference for my black & white heads along my jaw as they are minimised by quite alot
- black & white heads could be easily extracted out
- skin felt smoother (less bumps felt when I run my fingers along my face) as serum is non comedogenic, it reduces the chances of oil spot/black & white head forming in my pores
- super lightweight serum that I love using it everyday & night, even together with my other serums! ^^

This is a serum which I will repurchase because it gives me better skin! ~\"\(^.^)/"/~

After 3 weeks, I left with only 2/3 of the serum.. So fast! I think I would be able to finish it in 3 months! ^o^

This is me in simple makeup that I usually wear to work, already worn for 6 hours. NIL photoshopping, taken under table lamp white lighting.
Usually I don't really dare to show such bare makeup face in my blog cos I feel I look so old in it (without eyeliner and stuffs). ~_~ Ok, I AM old =_="
But this time round, although still with many scars (spot the one on my right cheek), my face looks alot better now. My overall skin surface looks smoother. Though the large pores issue still not fully resolved however I'm happy enough to learn that my skin has lesser black/white head which will lead to lesser inflammation and finally lesser scars! ^_^

KissMe Heavy Rotation Coloring Mascara (Shade #01 Light Ash) was my first ever eyebrow mascara and I had been loving it since then.
I bought this eyebrow mascara about the time I started blogging on OnSugar (2 years?). My first one was bought from Taiwan Ebay.
Below shows my 2nd one bought from Taiwan stores with help from Elaine.

I love this shade alot because I usually bleach my hair and I want my eyebrow to look almost like my hair colour.

The new version was out at about mid 2011 but I couldn't get my hands on it cos Singapore doesn't sell Coloring Eyebrow even though we have Heavy Rotation in stores, and Taiwan doesn't seem to carry this new version one too! (⌐_⌐")
Until last year Dec when I went to KL, I saw their Sasa selling the new coloring mascara! ^^

Sorry if the below pictures disgust all of you... m(_ _")m Pardon my super messy eyebrow!!
Due to the below swatches on my eyebrow were taken on a rainy day + on messy eyebrow + I didn't draw my eyebrow first, so the eyebrow mascara wasn't very obvious in the comparison photos as shown...
But in the super close-up pic, you could see the big difference between the 2 shades. One is ashy beige (left) and other is golden brown (right)

Overall Review of KISSME (ISEHAN) Heavy Rotation Coloring Eyebrow:
- Could conceal my black brow almost 80%
- Application is easier and works better with nicely trim brow than messy brow *points to upstairs*↑↑↑
- After applying 1 layer, wait for it to dry. Applying 2nd layer gives more coverage and colour becomes really intense
- After 2 applications, it dries up, hardens and stay in shape even after many hours
-  Sweatproof & waterproof, proven by me cos I wore it few times to play sports (I sweat buckets)
- Looks matte finished but has very fine glitters that could reflect under spotlight
- Only bad point is that the content from the tip of brush sometimes touches the skin and the colour stain the inner part of eyebrow, difficult to remove it, only way is to blend it out
- I like both the shades #01 & #03, they both suit my current hair colour

Last month, I attended a LEADERS InSolution Mask event by Cossy.sg at Raindrops cafe (in SCAPE) together with Na & Ah Ru. And there I met a new friend Xinyi who happens to be also a Jrock fan! \m/ ^o^ \m/~ *Jrock Rulx!* (Now is Kpop Rulx! lolx~ =p)

When I came to the cafe, I was greeted by colourful mask packagings on the table! ^^ The cafe is very bright due to the walls are all made of glass (even though its raining!) and the sun shines through it, making the whole cafe look so bright!
And believe or not, all the following pictures taken in the cafe are from my Iphone! ^o^

My first cup of coffee for that day~ And the following are the foods shown in the menu. Again, I realise I didn't take the main course! (just like that time during the keratinology event.. what am I thinking? *smacks head*)
Overall, I am liking all their foods! Except that I would probably prefer other kinds of meat like pork/chicken/beef for main course instead of fish type. ^^ I like the cafe atmosphere too, hoping to go back there to eat some other day!

Demostration of LEADERS InSolution Mask vs Brand X Mask

While the model is waiting for 15 mins, all of the bloggers were having their lunch! lolx~
The result for this demo is that Brand X wasn't able to stick onto her face because the material of the mask is too thick, hard and doesn't fit snugly on her face unlike LEADERS InSolution Mask.
After 5 mins, Brand X Mask dropped off. After 15 mins, the LEADERS InSolution Mask is being taken off and model's right face appear supple and radiant. There are also some leftover essence inside the mask package where we can still pick it up to apply on arms and legs.

Overall Product Review of LEADERS InSolution Masks:
I had used 5 of the given masks, 1 mask for each week. I will be doing an overall review since every piece of mask targets different skin issues and I usually pick the mask to target the problem that I'm facing during that time. So its quite hard for me to review them 1 by 1 because one time usage is not going to produce an instant big difference, unless I keep using the same mask over a longer period then I'll be able to do a proper review of it.

How I use the mask:
- After cleansing face, use toner to wipe off excess dirt and cleanser on face
- Press the LEADERS InSolution Mask packaging from bottom up motion. I did this because the mask usually sits at a position for too long, the mask isn't fully soaked in the essence, when pulled out the mask might only be half dry. If I press the packaging all over, it ensures that I will have a fully soaked mask when I take it out
- Next, tear off the top of the packaging and take the mask out, unfold it and put it on face
- Adjust the mask nicely on face.
- I will usually fit the mask from top down. Because my last step is to pull up 2 sides of the bottom chin flaps upwards to give it a lift at my chin area.

Review:
- Mask is made of silk cellulose extracted from natural cotton,and it really kinda feels like a thin silk cotton cloth. Its translucent and I can still see my flaws after wearing the mask
- Due to the mask texture, there are some air pockets trapped within the mask after wearing it [see below pic]
- I need to use my fingers to smooth out the air pockets so my skin can fully absorb the essence [see below pic]
- Doesn't feel irritating or tingly
- Feels wet and cooling
- mask cannot be put on for more than 20 mins as it drys up really fast after 20 mins, the mask will turn hard and become opaque instead of the initial translucent sheet (I did try to put it longer and end up with the sheet sticking to my skin because the mask is dry, it is trying to suck back the moisture from my face)
- After masking, skin feels sticky due to excess essence not being able to absorb into skin, it stays on the skin surface
- When mask removed, the mask texture actually got imprinted to my skin too (lolx~) But it is not a problem, it goes away after awhile
- I will then use slightly wet fingers to massage the excess essence into skin
- After fully absorbed, skin feels refresh and pumped with moisture
- Then I will rinse my face, leaving my face looking clear and radiant
- I find that by using the masks, it can clear my inflammation, reduce the visibility of my laugh lines slightly, makes my skin feels smooth and supple
- Overall, liking it because the mask is made of a nice soft material to begin with and it fits my face nicely without falling off

Masks that I like:
Though I haven't finish up all the 8 masks, but I can say that I particularly like using AC-Dressing & Teatree Relaxing Masks. I like them because they are able to clear my oil spots inflammation (not really a pimple i would say, more like a clogged pore where the sebum couldn't find a place to let out, and it start to expand underneath and my skin feels irritated causing inflammation)
After popping the sebum out from it, I tone it then I use the mask to calm my skin down and both of the mentioned masks did their job well. ^^

Actually I bleached my hair ever since many years ago and I keep on bleaching it when there's new grown black hair, so the date I choose in Keratinogram is the earliest date 20 Dec 2011.
Even though it prompt me to use Sun-kiss Colour range but I replace it with my ARP (Advanced Reconstruction Program) range. ^^ It works well too, since I do not have any particular hair colour that I need to maintain (eg, red/purple/blue..) as my yellow hair is already the base colour so it is fine for me to use the ARP range.

Advanced Reconstruction Program Detoxifying Shampoo and Express Treatment Conditioner
Both of the shampoo and conditioner have the same type cap design, just by pressing the cap on one side, the opening will show up at the other corner. Shampoo has its opening on top of the product while Conditioner has it at the bottom.
Good thing for having the opening at the bottom because conditioner doesn't flow out smoothly like shampoo, so that make sure the content is always at the bottom of the bottle, it's more ergonomic that way. ^^
This Shampoo and Conditioner is to be used on daily basis.

- Shampoo creates quite alot of foam which make it very easy to lather for my very dry hair
- After washing off the Shampoo, my wet hair doesn't feel squeaky dry

- Conditioner feels really smooth and I have no problem smoothing it out on my hair

Advanced Reconstruction Program Hair Spa Mask
This Hair Mask is tub form. It's said that this mask could penetrate through 3 layers of the hair fibre for deep nourishment and longer lasting salon curls.
This Hair Mask is to be used on a 3-4 day basis. Or, use it anytime you feel your hair is dry and requires nourishment.

Once you open it by screwing off the cover, you will see the mask. There is no seal or anything to prevent the content from moving around inside the tub. However, because of its thick consistency, the mask stayed firm and doesnt budge an inch even when I place the tub upside down.

- The mask is of thick consistency and it feels smooth just like any other masks
- Applying the mask onto my hair is an ease due to its smooth texture
- After applying for few seconds, my wet hair starts to form whitish solution and it starts dripping
- I usually clip up my hair and start bathing other parts of body, and after 10mins or so, I will wash off the mask
- Hair feels really silky smooth after washing it off
- I would still continue to apply conditioner to 'close' the routine so that my hair will maintain its smoothyness after my hot bath
- The mask scent is sweet & pleasant

Advanced Reconstruction Program Dual Treatment Shots
There are 4 pairs of tubes in a box. Each pair contain Step 1 and Step 2 tubes.
This is a WEEKLY Intensive treatment. Unlike the Hair Spa Mask, this cannot be used on a daily basis, otherwise it will be too rich for your hair to handle.
The usage of the 2 shots is:
1st dose - with concentrated protein, penetrates deep into the core of the hair fibre. Leave it for 3 minutes and rinse off.
2nd dose - with pico-nutrients, seals the cuticles of the hair. Do not rinse off.

- Step 1 treatment feels like conditioner but slightly thicker
- Each tube is enough for me to apply 2 times, be it the Step 1 or Step 2 treatments!
- Step 1 treatment also feels really smooth and easy to apply on my wet hair
- I applied step 1 treatment on my hair and wait for about 2-3 mins
- After washing off the treatment, my hair feels soft & nourished but it's not as smooth as when conditioner is applied. To complete the routine, I continue using conditioner to make it feel silky
- Step 2 treatment is a transparent oil serum, the amount in this tube is too much for 1 application. I used a tube for about 3 seperate applications on different days
- Step 2 treatment was used on slightly damp to almost dried hair in the above picture, hence you can see my hair ends kind of stick together
- It is best recommended to use any non-rinse hair serums/lotions on only damp hair, because it absorbs best when its still alittle wet and it won't leave any sticky after-feel when it's dried
- Step 2 treatment gets absorbed super fast into my hair as its very light-weight kind of oil serum, it absorbs so fast that I need to keep pouring more out from the tube to apply to other parts of the hair
- It doesn't leave any stickiness feeling at all

An intensive 8 hour action that can recovers up to 1 month of protein loss in just 1 night. It's said to reconstructs while you sleep for beautiful hair when you wake up.
This is 1 product that got me WoOooOOo! ☆╙(◎◇◎)╖☆ Reason because I like applying hair serum or lotion on my frizzy dry bleached hair right after my night bath, so that on the next morning, my hair will feel silky smooth! Or at least the hair ends won't feel so stiff and frizzy!
I had never came across any non-rinse treatment that mention "Overnight" so I am pretty fascinated with this *NEW* 'overnight' product! ╰((^▽^))╯
This bottle comes in a pump type and I had to say I'm pretty frustrated with the bottle cap. It is too loose and it comes off very easily :\

Besides the Overnight Reconstruction, I also love using anti frizz hair products, since my major problem here is frizzy hair (besides oily scalp and dry hair... so many problems! Lolx~).

As its hard for me to capture the mists in photos, hence I would just describe it here..
- The mist covers a wide area of my hair when its sprayed out
- While spraying, a very nice sweet scent fills the air
- The mist that landed on my hair felt just like normal water droplets, non-greasy, non-sticky
- I then use both palms to press against my hair and smooth it out to hair ends
- When I run fingers through my hair, it starts to get alittle smoother over time
- After few minutes, hair feels really smooth, non-frizzy and it even soften the texture of my dry crispy hair!

To let all of you know, I have oily scalp but dry, stiff hair and very brittle, frizzy hair ends. Reason why my hair is so damaged because of hair bleaching done by unprofessional hair salonist in KL. =_=
Formerly, I have dry hair but it wasn't as bad as this, because my hair didn't fall or break that often. During my trip to KL, I visited a salon and requested for hair bleaching + dyeing on my new grown hair. And I ended up having clumps of hair falling off when I was shampooing & masking my hair during my bath. I freaked out.
I thought I was losing hair but actually, my hair melted. Due to too much of chemicals being injected to already slightly damaged hair.
Just like what Shawn (the presenter) had mentioned, he challenged his hair by bleaching and dyeing several times on his hair and he found out that apparently, hair doesn't break or drop off from roots, they just melt. That is why my  hair came off in clumps instead of single strands falling off.

Full Review of Advanced Reconstruction Program range Products
I been using this range for 2 months and I must say that I am very happy with the results!
- I love the shampoo as it is both suitable for my oily scalp and also for my dry hair. It doesn't make my scalp oily and itchy nor does it make my hair ends dry
- The conditioner is always the 1 product I never skip regardless that I'd used Mask or Dual Shot Treatments. Conditioner is just like a moisturiser for the face. After masking, it's required for nourishing & sealing my hair cuticles so the essence of the mask or treatment will not go to waste.
- I like using Hair Spa Mask every 3 days to treat my hair, it gives my hair a better shine and makes my hair feel soft and smooth after bath
- I seldom use Dual Treatment Shot due to the hassle of storing the leftovers. As mentioned earlier, I can use 1 tube for 2 or more seperate applications so the tube had to be stored in a cup or something with its opening facing upwards or else the treatment will flow out from the tube
- Even though the hassle, I still quite like the effect that Dual Treatment Shot gives. For that particular week, my hair seems alittle more manageable, provided that I remember to keep applying Step 2 Treatment on damp hair every day.
- I like using the Overnight Reconstruction since it is easy to use and its non-rinse and moreover I could sleep with it.
- In the above gallery of Before & After pics, you see that my hair looks really oily and sticky (under Overnight Reconstruction row) is because I use it after my hair had fully dried. I should use it on damp hair so it will not look like that.
- Overnight Reconstruction is good in 'moisturising' as I feel it could seal in moisture to my hair, it weights down my light and thin hair and make it look silky straight.
- But sometimes when my hair is super stubborn, even Overnight Reconstruction isn't enough to tame my frizzy hair. I would still use Heat Protector Spray on the next morning to anti-frizz my hair ends
- Heat Protector Spray is so far the best anti-frizz haircare product I ever use as it could soften, moisture, anti-frizz my hair without making it look greasy, sticky or makes my scalp itch. Usually when I use other kinds of anti-frizz products, it always make my scalp itch after half a day because my hair starts to turn oily.
- Overall, I really love♥ using Keratinology and it had gave my hair a new life! I am lucky to have receive this full set of ARP so that I could save my super damaged hair. (It came just in time!)

- To shampoo scalp and hair roots instead of shampooing hair ends. Because shampoo means cleansing. Cleansing at the scalp and hair roots area is more important than cleansing at hair ends.
- To apply all rinse-off haircare conditioner/mask/treatments onto hairends as they might clog the pores on your scalp and could cause dandruff or hair fall.
- After the last step of conditioning, run your hair with room temperature or cold water. This will smooths out tangles and makes hair less frizzy!
- To apply all non-rinse haircare treatments/serum/lotions onto damp hairends as it can absorb better and it will not make hair feel sticky and oily after the hair is dried. And why hairends, reason is the same as applying conditioner on hairends.
- When you wake up with dry frizzy hair, run your hair with wet hands and fingers first to make your hair alittle damp, then spray on Heat Protector Spray. Blow dry with cool or room temperature air to your hairends and you'll find your hair appear silky smooth and less that frizz!
- Remember, cold water and cold air can manage your hair easier & faster than warm water and hot air.

MORE MYTH/FACTS & BEAUTY TIPS
1. By using cold water to wash face will close my pores and have a smoother skin (NOT TRUE. In fact using warm water to wash your face is better than using room temperature water or cold water)
2. Skin regenerates the most at night between 10pm to 2am (TRUE. But It is said that the skin regeneration period is actually longer than that.)
3. Using toner will remove water from the Stratum Corneum [Skin most outer layer]. (TRUE. However, there's some toner that doesn't have alcohol in it, so it will not strip off the moisture from the skin. Personal view, I will still continue to use toner even though it contains alchohol as toner helps to remove dirt and excess cleanser left on face that didn't get washed off. It also prepares my skin for the next step of my skincare regimen)

I don't often talk about food in my blogs, unless they are really GOOD. And as for these 2, YES, I must say that they tasted heavenly!
Its a Beef Tenderloin & Chocolate Tart with Butterscotch Ice-cream. After having these 2, I had been thinking of eating steak & chocolate cake for the rest of the week! lolx~

Yummy yum! The Chocolate Tart is crispy on the outside, and melting chocolate on the inside! ♥♥♥ Must go back PIERSIDE to eat these 2 again someday! ^^

- Inside the packaging is the night concentrate tub, and no spatula was provided. I need to use my own spatula to get the content out from the tub.
- The tub has an additional lid (besides the main cover) so that the content will always be fresh
- The night concentrate (also a sleeping mask) smells really great, a nice fragrance drifts out when you open the lid.
- The night concentrate felt like a thick gel but it's the light weight kind of gel, totally non-greasy, little sticky after blending out.
- It felt pretty cooling when applied on my skin.
- It felt wet and hydrating (base on swatch only)
- It is suppose to be a night mask/sleeping pack, hence it is unable to be fully absorbed by the skin.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost night concentrate sleeping pack Review:
- I use night concentrate almost every night as the last step of my skincare regimen, after my moisturiser.
- At times when I'm too tired or felt lazy, I will use the night concentrate alone, right after toner.
- After spreading out and massaging the night concentrate to my skin for a minute, it sticks to my face firmly, doesn't make me feel that its too much for my skin or feel that its too heavy
- Though it's non-greasy but after putting on the night concentrate sleeping mask, my face looks as if it is very oily, due to the content not being able to fully absorb to skin and it reflects under the light
- When I sleep, I try not to place my face on top of my pillow or other wise the mask will be removed by it. But usually when I sleep, I would forget about it and end up sleeping in every kind of positions, even face down onto my pillow. (^o^ lolx~)
- Good thing though, is that the night concentrate doesn't felt like its a thick sleeping mask. It felt a little thicker than normal moisturiser therefore it wasn't easily removed away by any of my pillow or bolster unlike my other sleeping masks.
- After I woke up and washed my face (I usually use warm water to wash), my skin felt BABY SMOOTH like it never felt before! I am not exaggerating it, it is real, base on my experience.
- My skin felt really smooth, it felt almost like powdery smooth when I touch it. Skin also felt pumped up.
- I spot that my laugh lines were minimised, not as deep as last time and when I put on makeup, the foundation doesn't get trap inbetween my laugh lines as much as previous. Even though it still traps foundation but it is almost not visible now.
- It overall makes my skintone slightly lighter & brighter too!
- I find that it helps combat free redicals in a way too as my makeup didn't get oxidised and turn dull, therefore the makeup now on my face  looks bright & neat.
- I like using the night concentrate as it gives me confidence that I'll have a beautiful smooth skin on the next day when I woke up
- I would want to use this night concentrate again if I run out of it! ^^ Its super easy and convenient to use!

Yesterday CNY Day 2, I'd posted my OOTD on Instagram (as shown below). I used several Iphone apps to achieve the following effects. If you wish to download the apps, they are:
Camera360 - Super good camera app! I totally loving it! I had been taking alot of photos using this app, it will not save direct to your photo library yet, but only after you process them, you be able to save them to your phone, otherwise no matter how many photos you take, they will all be stored under the app, categorised by dates. The photos your stored in the app, can be re-edited for countless times without spoiling the original photos. So far, this is the only app I've came across that has the most effects to choose from, i love using it! ^^
iQuikDoF - Best Dof app for blurring out the background so focus is on the subject only. Its easy to use, just paint over the subject and then process it. Painted area remains sharp while others all will be blurred. Blur effect can be from 1 to 100%.
Pixlromatic - Another app that gives many different effects and borders. I usually use Camera360 first to process once, do a iQuikDoF and then use Pixlr to add in more effects for the final touch. ^^

On CNY Day 2, I played with my other Nymph Aura product, which is the Nymph Aura Loose Powder! ^^ Read HERE for review on Nymph Aura Volumer

ETUDE HOUSE Nymph Aura Loose Powder Ingredients & Swatches:
Saw from the ingredient list that this loose powder is NOT Talc-free.

I picked the #1 Natural Pearl Aura as I have medium dull skin tone, and the other shade is in pink pearl which i think my face would look ashy with that shade. Though from the swatch below,the powder looks almost white, but it is actually beige.

Review of ETUDE HOUSE Nymph Aura Loose Powder:
It has this cooling effect when I first powdered it on my face, the powder is very fine and makes my face looks glittery. The glitters however aren't big enough to be noticed at a distance, its only noticeable under certain lightings (like spot light), at some angles or if I look at my face really upclose infront of mirror.
The shade looks kinda whitish on my face when I applied my first puff of powder, but after smoothing it out, it doesn't make my face look ashy unlike other loose powders. It appears translucent but with slight white glow in it.
I worn this out for about 6 hours and so far I didn't experience anything drastic or whatever..lolx.. The wind nowadays had been super strong. Whenever I step out of the building, the wind blew against me was so strong that my hair flew upwards. (Imagine that! LOLX!)
So perhaps, today when I stepped out, my powder already GONE WITH THE WIND. kekekekx~
Overall, I like this loose powder because of the slight cooling effect it gives plus the main point is that it doesn't make my face looks super white. ^.^

ETUDE HOUSE VIP Girl Dear Darling Lips in PK008 7500won: ~ SGD$8.80
Super cheap eh? =D In addition, the casing is SOOoOooo cute! And when I turn the lippie out, immediately I "AWWwwwwww~" Such sweet pink shade! ^^ It kinda reminds me of Mac Viva Glam Lady Gaga Lipstick (which till now, I still havent buy!), but this seems to look cooler, like Pink 4 Friday. I think I still prefer Viva Glam Lady Gaga because I prefer warm tone pinks.

Yesterday (CNY Day 2)  I used these 2 lippies. Mainly, i use It's Skin #05 for lining, and Etude house for filling the lips.

On my lips, both look ALMOST similar. As I have pigmented lips, some how the swatch on my lips will turn out different from what I swatched on my hand and it might also be different from others who swatch on their lips.
Sorry for the confusion (^^"), basically the idea is that, if I want to achieve an accurate swatch, I would need to apply concealer on my lips first, before swatching the lipstick. As for here, I didn't do it because I wanted to test whether they are pigmented enough to cover my pigmented lips. And infact, they do!

Review of ETUDE HOUSE VIP Girl & It's Skin Color Play I Black Jewel Lip Rouse:
ETUDE HOUSE VIP Girl Dear Darling Lips PK008: Pigmented, smooth & easy to apply on lips. However it will look streaky if I run it over a few times. As my lips have lots of wrinkles (Oh NO! >_<;) the lippie gets trapped in between lines and its quite obvious. It accentuate the lines & wrinkles even more if I keep on applying the lippie. But usually for such cases, I will top it with lip gloss to solve the problem. ^^ Overall, I quite like the shade and would still want to continue using it so long I'm still into the BARBIE PINK phrase. lolx~

It's Skin Color Play I Black Jewel Lip Rouse #05 Love Pink: I love this coral pink shade! I never regret for grabbing this during my trip to KL, it was kind of a random buy as I just wanted to own ANY 1 THING (or maybe 2 or more) from IT'S SKIN. Lolx~
I use this as a lip liner and also as a base to conceal my pigmented lips. The pigments doesn't trap in between the wrinkles or lines, hence my lips look smooth when I smile. (unlike ETUDE HOUSE's) The only problem is that it's quite drying, so I need to be careful not to use this when I have crack/peeling lips.
And another thing which I don't like is that this lippie had to be sharpened. I'm super lazy when it comes to such thing.kekex~

Review of CooperVision Biofinity & Encore Colours Contact Lens:
Before the Chinese new year, I bought a few pair of lenses so that I can see my relative faces clearer. lolx!
I bought CooperVision Biofinity contact lenses for ~$55 & Encore Colours for ~$20 (I forgot exactly how much), got OPTI-FREE solution as gift.
All I can say about these 2 lenses is, they SUCK.
CNY Day 1, I worn Biofinity for whole day. When I got home, my eyes are like so dry. I almost bang my head to the wall because the lenses STICK on my eyeball and it wouldn't bulge! I poured solution into my eyes but the lenses just stick to my eyes like suction pads. I had to SLOWLY scrap the lens off from one eye, and for the other, I used finger to push it outside of my cornea (or iris) forcefully to the white area and then pinched it out.
CNY Day 2, I worn Encore Colours lenses for 6 hours. Immediately the moment I put on, my eyes feel irritated. But I keep telling myself not to focus on the lenses otherwise, it'll be much more irritated x 2. However, I had to keep blinking when I am in the Air-conditioned place and at some parts, it stings bad which make me tear & ruin my eyeliner. At about the 2nd hour, my eyes already turned red.

I thought it was either my eyes or the contact lenses solution that was the problem. I probably will give the lenses a try again when I find an opportunity to do so. I wouldn't want to risk my eyes wearing such lenses for the whole day (like at work or shopping), I might just test them out again for just an hour at home in both air-condition room and outdoor, so to understand what exactly is the cause. I just hope I didn't get any dry eye syndrome or something. (≥⌂≤")

CNY Day 1, I didn't plan what to wear like last year, so I just grab whatever I can find, mix & match them at the last min. I only intend to wear the rainbow dotted tights which I bought during my KL trip on last year Dec. Its really super pretty in real life! ^^ Reminds me of mermaid cos of the colourful scales... or something like that ^.^"

I don't really wear wedges but this reddish orange pair from Charles & Keith ($49.90) has quite comfy soft leather material hence I convinced myself to get it, since the wedges are also not those bulky kind. The bulky or thick wedges will make me look like I have super big feet with super skinny legs. =p
The one on the right in camel & denim is from Mondo. Bought it on offer $34.90 ^^
Now that I see, both are like of the same height.. When I wear them, I'm like 180cm+~ ^_^"
I gotten a Charles & Keith bag too @ $69.90. (sadly no discounts on the items i purchased even though they put up a big big SALE sign outside the store :\) I think the bag is their newest arrival which I can't even find it in the C&K website. =_+ Anyhoo, i totally love this bag! ^^

As some of you already know, when you watch Kdrama/ Kmovie/ Kpop shows you see most of the artists having super smooth & glowy face. At times I wonder did they did too much plastic surgery that their faces shines like plastic? hahax!
Or do they really own a super smooth face that it can reflect lights at all angles? It kind of make me feel envious of their nice glowy skin.  I have glowy skin too when my skin starts pumping oil to surface but its only at my T-zone area. *pouts* (⌐^⌐)

ETUDE HOUSE Nymph Aura Volumer Packaging, Ingredients & Swatches:
So much different kinds of oil in the ingredients, i'm afraid that its comedogenic. I got to check through each and every one of the ingredients to know if this product is non-comedogenic.

On CNY Day 1, I played with Nymph Aura Volumer.
The swatches on my hand, were taken after I got home (Not the one I use on my face). 1 volumer to 3 BB cream means 1:3 ratio. The BB cream has to be 3/4 times bigger area than the volumer you pump out, so that your BB cream mix would not be too oily.
And as for the 4 boxes pic that shows my cheek, I forgot to say that the upper row is before I apply Volumer. The bottom row is with a little volumer.

Review of ETUDE HOUSE Nymph Aura Volumer:
The good side is that it did gives slight glow on my skin, not the kind that sebum pumps up from the pores, but more to the healthy glowy kind. For the whole day my face seems to be quite nice to me (Maybe my skin is on CNY mood? lolx~). It didn't pump sebum, hence I need not blot and the slight glowy look is still there till I reach home. I didn't even touch up my face, it seems like its been moisturised well, hence my skin didn't produce sebum to replenish the dry skin surface.
The bad side is, I think it doesn't suit my type of skin. =(
I find by making my face look glowy also accentuate my large pores and those tiny bumps that are all over my face, esp the area between my eyes & nose. The volumer doesn't look very bad nor that good on my type of skin, but it can still be used maybe once awhile for a change, if I feel like it.
I would however recommend the dry skin (with tiny pores) people to try this volumer! I think it will make them look very much like those Korean stars, with super smooth & healthy glowy skin! ^_^

Last year, I bought Lancaster Skin Therapy products from Sasa. As seen HERE (among my other massive haul)

The reason I bought it was 1st, strongly recommended by BA (my tots was that she's just trying to earn her commission..lolx~) 2nd, I was tempted to get the SASA VIP card. 3rd, I am again tempted... by their free gift. Ah yes, I'm a sucker for free stuffs. /(^.^")\
And the last reason was that I'm trying to find an Eye cream replacement for my Suisse Programme Eye Essence & Eye Cream (also bought from Sasa).

I ended up with 2 Lancaster products as it was a requirement to buy up to $150 worth of Lancaster so to get their VIP card & gifts. ^^

Lancaster Skin Therapy Anti-ageing Oxygen Moisturizer $99 (50ml)
Lancaster Skin Therapy Anti-ageing Oxygen Eye Care $78 (15ml)

 

But today I'm not going to talk about the Moisturizer, instead, I'm going to talk about the Anti-Ageing Oxygen Eye Cream.

If you had read the product write-up from the back of the box, you'll probably be as excited as me when you see the words 'Revive your eyes contour in a flash', 'Correct dark circles', 'Eyes appear rested, brighter'.

Oh well, which product doesn't write like that?lolx~

If you read carefully, this product mentioned about O2 Fix System and Horse Chestnut. What's O2 Fix System? Well I'm not sure too, but according to Lancaster Beauty website, it suppose to capture oxygen and diffuse 'optimal amounts' to the skin.
Then what does Horse Chestnut (Aesculus Hippocastanum) do? Its said to improve vein wall tone, mend tiny leaks in veins and capillaries, strengthen and improve the elasticity of vein walls. It also improves circulation in the skin and since it strengthens the capillaries – it helps to prevent “capillary fragility” which leads to "leaking" from the capillaries into the tissue.
If one wants to find an alternative for Vitamin K ingredient in an eye cream, one  should look for Horse Chestnut.
I believe such properties could save my super dark circles as its often mentioned that broken blood vessels are its main cause, thus ingredients that have the ability of strengthening capillaries would be the best treatment for the dark circles.

 

In the Ingredients, I saw there's Caffeine & Coffea Arabica (Coffee) Seed Extract. These caught my eyes as I'm a coffee lover myself, therefore it makes me wonder if Coffee benefits my body in anyway since I drink them almost everyday. I heard that coffee can prevent cancer, is that really true? ^_^

But for what I know, Caffeine has anti-inflammatory properties. So the theory is that if caffeine is placed under the eye, then it can help reduce puffiness and dark circle as they are caused by inflammation.

Talking about Coffee beans, they are actually the seed of coffee berries. Coffee seeds are natural anti-oxidants, that clearly explains why this eye cream uses coffee seed extract as one of its ingredient.
And hey, do you know that Coffee Berry Extract is one anti-oxidant that provides the best protection against UVA rays, UVB rays and age-accelerating free radicals? CoffeeBerry anti-oxidant properties are even higher than pomegranate, blueberry, acai or goji, higher than even green tea anti-oxidant.
If CoffeeBerry has such high anti-oxidant properties, then would its seed extract have the same amount of anti-oxidant level too???
Well, I couldn't find the answer through my search on the web, so it will remain as a mystery~ lolx~

Next, I spotted a few other ingredients like mica, silica and titanium dioxide in the eye cream. These ingredients are commonly used in cosmetics or mineral based makeup.
Though each of them have their individual benefits & reasons to exist in a skincare product, but I still like to regard them as makeup, even if they are of a very minimum amount. ^^"

 

Eye Cream tube
I have no problem getting the content out from the tube. The plastic tube material is not slippery kind, hence squeezing at the end of the tube won't have it flying out of my fingers. hahax~ ^-^

 

Eye Cream Swatch
When I first swatched it at Sasa, it kept giving me little residues after I blended out the cream. I was worried that it will do the same to my undereyes so I took quite some time in considering my purchase of Lancaster. After a few rounds of swatching, both me and the BA realised that the residues were mainly caused by our dirty hands! kekekex~ (⌐∑⌐)

Its cream texture felt slightly thick & dense. When spread out, it felt really smooth. At 1 point, I thought it contains silicon, but there wasn't any written in the ingredient list, or perhaps it has a secondary name to it?
When applied, the cream doesn't absorb easily on my undereyes. Some massaging had to be done with the fingers to make it absorbed.
While I'm blending out the cream all around my eyes and it started to get absorded to skin, that is the time I felt the texture turned alittle bit greasy. It's kind of like a smooth-almost greasy feel, if you know what I mean ^^"
But after its been fully absorbed, the skin around my eyes look matte and it felt powdery smooth!
Note that such cream if its not properly blended out, the cream that stays on the skin surface will harden quickly and form residues or small 'eraser-like' particles if I run my fingers through the hardened cream.

My Review on Lancaster Skin Therapy Anti-ageing Oxygen Eye Care Eye Cream
I only use this Eye Cream at night, because I'm afraid that it will have the residues like I experienced during my 1st swatch. Plus, because of its texture, it is EASY to get residues if I'm not careful enough.
Even though it contains mica which I often mentioned that I would prefer to use anything that contains mica in the morning, I would still use this at night because I found out that the eye cream is slightly dry and doesn't gives enough moisture to my undereyes, thus forming visible lines when I put on foundation.
1 main point that make me want to talk about this eye cream is that I experience visible results for my dark circles. Mind that I only use this every night, massaging it with the vibrating tool (from L'Oreal as shown below).
Day time, I use Suisse Programme Eye Essence & Eye Cream.
At first I wasn't expecting results from this eye cream (frankly speaking, I don't expect results from any eye creams cos I know my dark circles are hopeless! lolx~), so I didn't pay much attention to my undereyes. But 1 day, when I was concealing my undereyes, I found that I'd used lesser concealer than usual to conceal the dark circles.
And then the following week, I find that my dark circles are getting easier to conceal, as it started to look less visible! I find it so amazing that everyday during work, I had to go toilet to examine my dark circles and was really happy that it wasn't as visible as last time! =D
This 'miracle' happened to me after using the product for 1.5 months.
After I experience this 'miracle' I suddenly stopped using the Eye Cream as I was too busy with work and after that I even flew to KL for a cosplay event. I was too tired during that 2 weeks that I forgotten to use back my Lancaster Eye Cream.
Right after the trip back, my dark circles became hopeless again! hahhax~ ^∆^"
As for now, I'm using back this eye cream & I'm still waiting for that 'miracle' to come again. (^_^)

I also want to give credits to this L'Oreal vibrating tool! (lolx~) Its a simple yet wonderful eye massaging tool. I had used it ever since I won it from a L'Oreal event, and I even changed the battery for 3 times! (1 battery last about 1 month+, I use this twice daily-morning & night)
However I don't use its eye cream as I find it greasy, doesn't absorb well to my undereyes, am afraid that it will cause millia seeds.

Review:
- Easy to glide onto lips
- Using the lip balm alone, make the lips look slightly glossy~
- Smells more like orange than mango
- It's good for my daily lip moisturising maintenance
- A tad oily, hence the pigments of my lipstick is not able to grab onto my lips as the lip balm creates a barrier inbetween them. I will need to apply a few times more before my lipstick colour shows up
- I also use this over a lipstick when I feel my lips are rather dry from wearing the lipstick too long, it makes my lipstick looks slightly gloss and makes my lips look softer
- I like to apply lipbalm immediately after my foundation, realise that the white residues appear on my lips as those are some of the foundation accidentally applied onto my lips. Need to tissue off the whole lips before applying the lip balm again.
- I only use this balm for day use before my lipstick or gloss as I have another lip gel that I use at night for intensive lip care purpose
- For very dry crack lips, its advisible to not use this balm over the crack lips, as this is not moisturising enough to soften the dead skin
- I have trouble of turning the product back to its base now, as it got stuck in that same protruding position after my first use. (Frustrating everytime a lipbalm or lipstick does this!) So after I use it, I push the stick against my lips & get the balm back to its base position. hahax~ ^⌂^"

Overall, this is a good lip balm which i will bring along with me anywhere I go. I love using both lip balms and lipsticks as I have dry lips plus pigmented lips. ^_^"
I can have like 1 lipbalm in 1 bag, so I do not need to move around the lip balms from bag to bag! lolx~ >∇<
