Ah ahh~~ This is a pic of my LOTD taken 2 months ago (early March).. If you had seen my previous post or Instagram, my hair ain't like this anymore!

My hair went through thorough bleaching to make every strand equally blonde. ^^ Then they cut my fringe straight..

I love this hair colour much because there were quite a number of compliments, including small kids! ^^ They even try to touch my hair to see if its real! Lolx~ They r so cute~

Sitting at Evolve Salon waiting for the hair colouring to begin, I started playing with the props that are lying around. lolx~

And here it GOES!~
The person you see here is Dylan, leading hair stylist of Evolve Salon. I super like him doing hair colouring, he's expert in playing with a variety of hair colours! 'Nothing is Impossible' is his favourite quote! ^.^ And later you'll see the result!~

It ain't an easy thing to be hair model nor it's a glamorious thing, it takes alot of time (mostly waiting), alot of hunger (skip meals), alot of tries (on costume), alot of patience (waiting, combating sleepiness, making the costume with Dylan when I'm almost dead beat & breathing in foul smelling spray paint mask *faints* ). But overall, I had quite alot of fun with Dylan while being his model as he's a sweet guy~ ^^

And with that super short fringe, I don't really dare to go out without a hat/cap! So yah, this hat is my everyday fringe camo! :p

After a month, I got my hair cut even SHORTER!~ As can see here again, cap to camo my super short fringe. Keeke~

Reason being THIS▼ GOLDWELL Hairshow (Spot the old grandma and you got me! Hahahha~ My lips colour is the same as my dress.)

Here's closer look of my short hair cut and colour. This one's done by Ken Hong.
I went through another round of thorough bleaching (VERY OUCH! >_<" I nearly faints after withstanding long hour of bleaching, then scalp starts to turn flaky), and then grey colourant is added to make it look super bluish grey. Underneath the grey is still blonde.

Another 1 month past.... thank god my fringe is longer now too. And the greyish dye faded to blonde again.
I went back to Evolve Salon to finally get my Egyptian hair cut into ROCK STYLE!!!!~ ♥♥♥ (cut by Ken Hong, within 5 mins its done & styled!)

I'm given this hair treatment FIOLE neoprocess treatment system np3.1 (+1) by Dylan to treat my hair ends as they are over bleached hence became really dry and frizzy. Its texture is like silicon. This is suppose to be used on damp hair, then blow dry it and you'll get smooth, tangle-free hair.

To maintain my hair colour, I bought Sunsilk Keratinology Sun Kissed Colour Theraphy Conditioner. I had repurchased keratinology products for few times now, ever since I was given a set of keratinology hair products. (Click HERE for review) I ♥ them!

I was given these by GOLDWELL. The conditioner for Warm Brown hair is additional, perhaps I could use this in about a month's time as I'm thinking to dye my hair to a darker colour! ^^

The next round of hair dyeing probably will be on June! I'm resting my scalp now as it seems like its still flaking.. Even though my new grown oily black hair is already about 2 cm long, I still experienced slight dandruff from the scalp falling on my shoulders.. Everyday, I'm spending alittle more time in shampooing my scalp with care to make sure all dead cells comes off, in hope that it will stop flaking~

The next dye I want my hair to be Orange-Pink... Or maybe Coral? (Is this colour even achievable? ^^")

I was so honoured to be invited by SKIN FOOD Singapore to attend the launch of the Good Afternoon BB Cream at Malaysia  Kuala Lumpur! And  Na was invited too (I only knew it after a day i got my invitation)! I was so happy that I could FLY overseas with her! (our first time in like 7021641649 friendship years to FLY on a plane together! *Excited*)

There is no better place to take NOTD (Nails of the day) than taking it in the mid sky, nearest to the sun! lolx~ Sorry, not beautifully done as I did it in a hurry the day before I flew to KL. ^.^" FYI, the gold glitters is from Skin Food polish. ^^

Here we are at Impiana hotel. Once again for me! Because I just stayed in Impiana on last year December for Comics Fiesta. Déjà vu.

After touch down for awhile, we had our lunch and we dress up to head towards KLCC Suria (Shopping mall). The Tea Party was held at Harrods.

The big Harrods mascot is so cute! I kind of regret for not looking around longer inside Harrods store, my hands are itchy from thinking to own a Harrods bag.. hahax~

We are wayyyy at the inner end of the store. Harrods is quite big! To have a tea party in here is really nice, the sun shines in from the windows, making the room feel cozy. The host is the lady wearing the blue summer hat.

Bascially Na wanted a glass of plain water (she's very thirsty), the waiter didn't quite catch what she said and came back with a sparkling water + a bill for us to pay. lolx! Anyways Cheryl helped us to settled it~ ^^ Our thoughts: Seriously, no plain ice water in Harrods? *puzzled*

This Tea Party is English theme and there is a best dress category so I'm all prepared for it~ ^^ I kinda hate it my hair wasn't all yellow, I didn't got time to bleach it before I flew to KL. And perhaps I should have gotten a headdress or hat to match my costume? I totally forgotten about it! (=_=;+) Anyhoo, here are the top 3 winners!

We were then divided into small groups. Our table is for the oily/combination skin. On the table shows the Peach Sake Pore Sebum Skin care range and some wash off Masks.

On12 March, I was invited to attend TALIKA Skin Retouch media launch at The Fullerton Hotel.

Before I went to the launch, i was pretty excited to learn more about Skin Retouch because from the online sources, I found out that this could also be used even after you had applied your foundation to make your skin look even smoother and flawless!
Skin Retouch is like both skincare and makeup! ^.^

Last month, I attended a LEADERS InSolution Mask event by Cossy.sg at Raindrops cafe (in SCAPE) together with Na & Ah Ru. And there I met a new friend Xinyi who happens to be also a Jrock fan! \m/ ^o^ \m/~ *Jrock Rulx!* (Now is Kpop Rulx! lolx~ =p)

When I came to the cafe, I was greeted by colourful mask packagings on the table! ^^ The cafe is very bright due to the walls are all made of glass (even though its raining!) and the sun shines through it, making the whole cafe look so bright!
And believe or not, all the following pictures taken in the cafe are from my Iphone! ^o^

My first cup of coffee for that day~ And the following are the foods shown in the menu. Again, I realise I didn't take the main course! (just like that time during the keratinology event.. what am I thinking? *smacks head*)
Overall, I am liking all their foods! Except that I would probably prefer other kinds of meat like pork/chicken/beef for main course instead of fish type. ^^ I like the cafe atmosphere too, hoping to go back there to eat some other day!

Demostration of LEADERS InSolution Mask vs Brand X Mask

While the model is waiting for 15 mins, all of the bloggers were having their lunch! lolx~
The result for this demo is that Brand X wasn't able to stick onto her face because the material of the mask is too thick, hard and doesn't fit snugly on her face unlike LEADERS InSolution Mask.
After 5 mins, Brand X Mask dropped off. After 15 mins, the LEADERS InSolution Mask is being taken off and model's right face appear supple and radiant. There are also some leftover essence inside the mask package where we can still pick it up to apply on arms and legs.

Overall Product Review of LEADERS InSolution Masks:
I had used 5 of the given masks, 1 mask for each week. I will be doing an overall review since every piece of mask targets different skin issues and I usually pick the mask to target the problem that I'm facing during that time. So its quite hard for me to review them 1 by 1 because one time usage is not going to produce an instant big difference, unless I keep using the same mask over a longer period then I'll be able to do a proper review of it.

How I use the mask:
- After cleansing face, use toner to wipe off excess dirt and cleanser on face
- Press the LEADERS InSolution Mask packaging from bottom up motion. I did this because the mask usually sits at a position for too long, the mask isn't fully soaked in the essence, when pulled out the mask might only be half dry. If I press the packaging all over, it ensures that I will have a fully soaked mask when I take it out
- Next, tear off the top of the packaging and take the mask out, unfold it and put it on face
- Adjust the mask nicely on face.
- I will usually fit the mask from top down. Because my last step is to pull up 2 sides of the bottom chin flaps upwards to give it a lift at my chin area.

Review:
- Mask is made of silk cellulose extracted from natural cotton,and it really kinda feels like a thin silk cotton cloth. Its translucent and I can still see my flaws after wearing the mask
- Due to the mask texture, there are some air pockets trapped within the mask after wearing it [see below pic]
- I need to use my fingers to smooth out the air pockets so my skin can fully absorb the essence [see below pic]
- Doesn't feel irritating or tingly
- Feels wet and cooling
- mask cannot be put on for more than 20 mins as it drys up really fast after 20 mins, the mask will turn hard and become opaque instead of the initial translucent sheet (I did try to put it longer and end up with the sheet sticking to my skin because the mask is dry, it is trying to suck back the moisture from my face)
- After masking, skin feels sticky due to excess essence not being able to absorb into skin, it stays on the skin surface
- When mask removed, the mask texture actually got imprinted to my skin too (lolx~) But it is not a problem, it goes away after awhile
- I will then use slightly wet fingers to massage the excess essence into skin
- After fully absorbed, skin feels refresh and pumped with moisture
- Then I will rinse my face, leaving my face looking clear and radiant
- I find that by using the masks, it can clear my inflammation, reduce the visibility of my laugh lines slightly, makes my skin feels smooth and supple
- Overall, liking it because the mask is made of a nice soft material to begin with and it fits my face nicely without falling off

Masks that I like:
Though I haven't finish up all the 8 masks, but I can say that I particularly like using AC-Dressing & Teatree Relaxing Masks. I like them because they are able to clear my oil spots inflammation (not really a pimple i would say, more like a clogged pore where the sebum couldn't find a place to let out, and it start to expand underneath and my skin feels irritated causing inflammation)
After popping the sebum out from it, I tone it then I use the mask to calm my skin down and both of the mentioned masks did their job well. ^^

On January this year, I was invited to attend a Keratinology Bloggers Event. It was held at Novus Restaurant & Bar at National Museum of Singapore. The venue was georgous~

A Heat Protector Spray was placed on every table ontop of a rotating device. Our table people: Na, Ah ru, Jermaine & myself used this anti-frizz spray on our hair that day and we immediately find our hair feeling smooth and silky! ^^

Actually I bleached my hair ever since many years ago and I keep on bleaching it when there's new grown black hair, so the date I choose in Keratinogram is the earliest date 20 Dec 2011.
Even though it prompt me to use Sun-kiss Colour range but I replace it with my ARP (Advanced Reconstruction Program) range. ^^ It works well too, since I do not have any particular hair colour that I need to maintain (eg, red/purple/blue..) as my yellow hair is already the base colour so it is fine for me to use the ARP range.

Advanced Reconstruction Program Detoxifying Shampoo and Express Treatment Conditioner
Both of the shampoo and conditioner have the same type cap design, just by pressing the cap on one side, the opening will show up at the other corner. Shampoo has its opening on top of the product while Conditioner has it at the bottom.
Good thing for having the opening at the bottom because conditioner doesn't flow out smoothly like shampoo, so that make sure the content is always at the bottom of the bottle, it's more ergonomic that way. ^^

This Hair Mask is tub form. It's said that this mask could penetrate through 3 layers of the hair fibre for deep nourishment and longer lasting salon curls.
This Hair Mask is to be used on a 3-4 day basis. Or, use it anytime you feel your hair is dry and requires nourishment.

- I would still continue to apply conditioner to 'close' the routine so that my hair will maintain its smoothyness after my hot bath

There are 4 pairs of tubes in a box. Each pair contain Step 1 and Step 2 tubes.
This is a WEEKLY Intensive treatment. Unlike the Hair Spa Mask, this cannot be used on a daily basis, otherwise it will be too rich for your hair to handle.
The usage of the 2 shots is:
1st dose - with concentrated protein, penetrates deep into the core of the hair fibre. Leave it for 3 minutes and rinse off.
2nd dose - with pico-nutrients, seals the cuticles of the hair. Do not rinse off.

- Step 1 treatment feels like conditioner but slightly thicker
- Each tube is enough for me to apply 2 times, be it the Step 1 or Step 2 treatments!
- Step 1 treatment also feels really smooth and easy to apply on my wet hair
- I applied step 1 treatment on my hair and wait for about 2-3 mins
- After washing off the treatment, my hair feels soft & nourished but it's not as smooth as when conditioner is applied. To complete the routine, I continue using conditioner to make it feel silky
- Step 2 treatment is a transparent oil serum, the amount in this tube is too much for 1 application. I used a tube for about 3 seperate applications on different days
- Step 2 treatment was used on slightly damp to almost dried hair in the above picture, hence you can see my hair ends kind of stick together
- It is best recommended to use any non-rinse hair serums/lotions on only damp hair, because it absorbs best when its still alittle wet and it won't leave any sticky after-feel when it's dried
- Step 2 treatment gets absorbed super fast into my hair as its very light-weight kind of oil serum, it absorbs so fast that I need to keep pouring more out from the tube to apply to other parts of the hair

An intensive 8 hour action that can recovers up to 1 month of protein loss in just 1 night. It's said to reconstructs while you sleep for beautiful hair when you wake up.
This is 1 product that got me WoOooOOo! ☆╙(◎◇◎)╖☆ Reason because I like applying hair serum or lotion on my frizzy dry bleached hair right after my night bath, so that on the next morning, my hair will feel silky smooth! Or at least the hair ends won't feel so stiff and frizzy!
I had never came across any non-rinse treatment that mention "Overnight" so I am pretty fascinated with this *NEW* 'overnight' product! ╰((^▽^))╯
This bottle comes in a pump type and I had to say I'm pretty frustrated with the bottle cap. It is too loose and it comes off very easily :\

- The mist covers a wide area of my hair when its sprayed out

To let all of you know, I have oily scalp but dry, stiff hair and very brittle, frizzy hair ends. Reason why my hair is so damaged because of hair bleaching done by unprofessional hair salonist in KL. =_=
Formerly, I have dry hair but it wasn't as bad as this, because my hair didn't fall or break that often. During my trip to KL, I visited a salon and requested for hair bleaching + dyeing on my new grown hair. And I ended up having clumps of hair falling off when I was shampooing & masking my hair during my bath. I freaked out.
I thought I was losing hair but actually, my hair melted. Due to too much of chemicals being injected to already slightly damaged hair.
Just like what Shawn (the presenter) had mentioned, he challenged his hair by bleaching and dyeing several times on his hair and he found out that apparently, hair doesn't break or drop off from roots, they just melt. That is why my  hair came off in clumps instead of single strands falling off.

I been using this range for 2 months and I must say that I am very happy with the results!
- I love the shampoo as it is both suitable for my oily scalp and also for my dry hair. It doesn't make my scalp oily and itchy nor does it make my hair ends dry
- The conditioner is always the 1 product I never skip regardless that I'd used Mask or Dual Shot Treatments. Conditioner is just like a moisturiser for the face. After masking, it's required for nourishing & sealing my hair cuticles so the essence of the mask or treatment will not go to waste.
- I like using Hair Spa Mask every 3 days to treat my hair, it gives my hair a better shine and makes my hair feel soft and smooth after bath
- I seldom use Dual Treatment Shot due to the hassle of storing the leftovers. As mentioned earlier, I can use 1 tube for 2 or more seperate applications so the tube had to be stored in a cup or something with its opening facing upwards or else the treatment will flow out from the tube
- Even though the hassle, I still quite like the effect that Dual Treatment Shot gives. For that particular week, my hair seems alittle more manageable, provided that I remember to keep applying Step 2 Treatment on damp hair every day.

- In the above gallery of Before & After pics, you see that my hair looks really oily and sticky (under Overnight Reconstruction row) is because I use it after my hair had fully dried. I should use it on damp hair so it will not look like that.
- Overnight Reconstruction is good in 'moisturising' as I feel it could seal in moisture to my hair, it weights down my light and thin hair and make it look silky straight.
- But sometimes when my hair is super stubborn, even Overnight Reconstruction isn't enough to tame my frizzy hair. I would still use Heat Protector Spray on the next morning to anti-frizz my hair ends
- Heat Protector Spray is so far the best anti-frizz haircare product I ever use as it could soften, moisture, anti-frizz my hair without making it look greasy, sticky or makes my scalp itch. Usually when I use other kinds of anti-frizz products, it always make my scalp itch after half a day because my hair starts to turn oily.
- Overall, I really love♥ using Keratinology and it had gave my hair a new life! I am lucky to have receive this full set of ARP so that I could save my super damaged hair. (It came just in time!)

- To shampoo scalp and hair roots instead of shampooing hair ends. Because shampoo means cleansing. Cleansing at the scalp and hair roots area is more important than cleansing at hair ends.
- To apply all rinse-off haircare conditioner/mask/treatments onto hairends as they might clog the pores on your scalp and could cause dandruff or hair fall.
- After the last step of conditioning, run your hair with room temperature or cold water. This will smooths out tangles and makes hair less frizzy!
- To apply all non-rinse haircare treatments/serum/lotions onto damp hairends as it can absorb better and it will not make hair feel sticky and oily after the hair is dried. And why hairends, reason is the same as applying conditioner on hairends.
- When you wake up with dry frizzy hair, run your hair with wet hands and fingers first to make your hair alittle damp, then spray on Heat Protector Spray. Blow dry with cool or room temperature air to your hairends and you'll find your hair appear silky smooth and less that frizz!
- Remember, cold water and cold air can manage your hair easier & faster than warm water and hot air.

MORE MYTH/FACTS & BEAUTY TIPS
1. By using cold water to wash face will close my pores and have a smoother skin (NOT TRUE. In fact using warm water to wash your face is better than using room temperature water or cold water)
2. Skin regenerates the most at night between 10pm to 2am (TRUE. But It is said that the skin regeneration period is actually longer than that.)
3. Using toner will remove water from the Stratum Corneum [Skin most outer layer]. (TRUE. However, there's some toner that doesn't have alcohol in it, so it will not strip off the moisture from the skin. Personal view, I will still continue to use toner even though it contains alchohol as toner helps to remove dirt and excess cleanser left on face that didn't get washed off. It also prepares my skin for the next step of my skincare regimen)

I don't often talk about food in my blogs, unless they are really GOOD. And as for these 2, YES, I must say that they tasted heavenly!
Its a Beef Tenderloin & Chocolate Tart with Butterscotch Ice-cream. After having these 2, I had been thinking of eating steak & chocolate cake for the rest of the week! lolx~

Yummy yum! The Chocolate Tart is crispy on the outside, and melting chocolate on the inside! ♥♥♥ Must go back PIERSIDE to eat these 2 again someday! ^^

- Inside the packaging is the night concentrate tub, and no spatula was provided. I need to use my own spatula to get the content out from the tub.
- The tub has an additional lid (besides the main cover) so that the content will always be fresh
- The night concentrate (also a sleeping mask) smells really great, a nice fragrance drifts out when you open the lid.
- The night concentrate felt like a thick gel but it's the light weight kind of gel, totally non-greasy, little sticky after blending out.
- It felt pretty cooling when applied on my skin.
- It felt wet and hydrating (base on swatch only)
- It is suppose to be a night mask/sleeping pack, hence it is unable to be fully absorbed by the skin.

- I use night concentrate almost every night as the last step of my skincare regimen, after my moisturiser.
- At times when I'm too tired or felt lazy, I will use the night concentrate alone, right after toner.
- After spreading out and massaging the night concentrate to my skin for a minute, it sticks to my face firmly, doesn't make me feel that its too much for my skin or feel that its too heavy
- Though it's non-greasy but after putting on the night concentrate sleeping mask, my face looks as if it is very oily, due to the content not being able to fully absorb to skin and it reflects under the light
- When I sleep, I try not to place my face on top of my pillow or other wise the mask will be removed by it. But usually when I sleep, I would forget about it and end up sleeping in every kind of positions, even face down onto my pillow. (^o^ lolx~)
- Good thing though, is that the night concentrate doesn't felt like its a thick sleeping mask. It felt a little thicker than normal moisturiser therefore it wasn't easily removed away by any of my pillow or bolster unlike my other sleeping masks.
- After I woke up and washed my face (I usually use warm water to wash), my skin felt BABY SMOOTH like it never felt before! I am not exaggerating it, it is real, base on my experience.
- My skin felt really smooth, it felt almost like powdery smooth when I touch it. Skin also felt pumped up.
- I spot that my laugh lines were minimised, not as deep as last time and when I put on makeup, the foundation doesn't get trap inbetween my laugh lines as much as previous. Even though it still traps foundation but it is almost not visible now.
- It overall makes my skintone slightly lighter & brighter too!
- I find that it helps combat free redicals in a way too as my makeup didn't get oxidised and turn dull, therefore the makeup now on my face  looks bright & neat.
- I like using the night concentrate as it gives me confidence that I'll have a beautiful smooth skin on the next day when I woke up
- I would want to use this night concentrate again if I run out of it! ^^ Its super easy and convenient to use!

This post is somewhat the continuation of my previous X'mas-New Year post. ^^ (Read HERE for the previous post)

Last year Dec 16-19, I and a few friends went to Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur for a Cosplay event, Comic Fiesta 2011. The CF 2011 was held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) and we stayed only a walking distance away, which is the Impiana Hotel.

This is not my first time going to KL as previous was a work trip at some ulu KL industrial area, but I totally never been in KL town area before so most of the shopping places were recommended by my friends. Our first stop was at Nandos @ Sungei Wang. Heard that Nandos in Malaysia is 100% yummier than Singapore + cheap + no service charge! So yah, I tried one of their set meal. It was OK for me. My friends mentioned that the chicken thigh has shrunk and the taste wasn't that yummy like last time. They were rather disappointed.
The MILD flag is actually the spiciness level. I love adding the Garlic sauce from the bottle, my food taste nicer with the garlic ^^

Then we proceed to Sungei Wang for shopping, cos my friends said Sungei Wang is the best shopping place in KL, its like Far East Plaza, there are many levels and many shops in there and all their stuffs are CHEAAPPPppp~.
And what did I do? I went to a SALON to BLEACH my hair. (Not cheap though, cost me RM400!) Lolx~ I wanted to do it because I'm need my hair to be yellow for my cosplay on the CF Day 2. Below is a magazine which I was reading while I'm doing my hair. Fashion bloggers magazine! When will Singapore have their own Fashion/Beauty Bloggers magazine? o_O The contents inside the mag was very interesting! ^^

We then had Korean BBQ for dinner! Funny thing for this restaurant is that the staff in there said "SA WA DI KA!" to welcome customers. Isn't that THAI????!!! Lolx!~ Anyways, I LOVEEEEEEE The meat!!!! Its tender, thickness was just nice, so I don't find it hard to chew but yet, its thick enough to spill juices inside my mouth. *mouth watering meat~* I was still craving for more after we finished cos th BBQ set was shared among 5 of us. =p

And my small Haul @ Sungei Wang... Nothing much eh? I was in need of face mist (forgot to bring to KL) so dropped by Etude house to get 1 ^^ and look at the pretty paper bag they gave me~ BTW, it was a man who served me at Etude house.. Shouldn't singapore start recruiting male BAs now? We are like WAYYYYY behind! Hong Kong, Korea, Malaysia they all employ handsome male BAs! SG should have too! >,<

After half a day of shopping & eating, we all PENGS cos we din have any sleep at all on the previous day!!!!!~ (The long couch was REALLY COMFY!~ <^o^<)

The next day was Comic Fiesta Day 1. I wasn't cosplaying as I only intend to do for CF Day 2. And here shows me in my newly bleached hair. (Its SUPA DRY I TELL YOU! >_< I think I could die if I don't mask it.)

And for the contact lens case, they are super cheap, cost about SGD$1 or so only. I bought a similar one in SG for $3.90! Basket.=_=

Most cosplayers were all standing in the holding area walking around taking pics, including us. hahax~ I didn't really took alot of the cosplayer photos as I'm about 80% handicap myself..^^" Cos I need to carry my long skirt tail when I walk, otherwise people will step on it!

Finally, we on our way walking back to hotel via the overhead bridge. The bridge was always empty, so we jumped on the chance, had a few shots of our own before going back hotel. ^^

On the 4th day, which is our last day in KL, Hoshi and I went shopping. YEAH, at last! (Yuanie was at a photoshoot)
We walked from our hotel to Pavilion. There were tons of BEARS displayed outside the Pavilion, featuring each country's paintings & designs on the bear. Some of the designs are pretty obvious where its from, I compiled a few bears to show to all as seen below.

I hadn't been blogging since last year (lolx). For past 2 months+ I was very busy with work, going out on my off days and preparing my cosplay stuff (More like resting when I have some spare time as I'm just too tired! lolx~).
Now I got lots of stuffs to write about: my collective haul, my birthday, my trip to KL, X'mas presents! ^o^ And not forgetting reviews! I hadn't been doing it for so long! Pls forgive me *bows* m(_ _")m

Anyhoo, hereby presenting my cosplay, me as 藤乐乐 [Teng Le Le] from 独领风骚 [THE ONE], taken by Data.  This is like my.... 3rd time cosplaying the same character? ^^" I never get bored of doing it cos its considered the least troublesome costume among the rest. And its my first time cosplaying outside of Singapore! Hence I'm very excited about it! XD~
Following 3 photos all taken at Impiana Hotel in KL, Malaysia.Thats the hotel that we stayed during Comic Fiesta 2011 @ KLCC (CF Facebook) (More coverage @ Danny Choo) Its an overall good hotel, I like it ^^, service & food was ok. We only experienced once which the power tripped in the morning and we have to brush teeth in the dark toilet even though its morning lolx~ Cos everyday in KL was cloudy~

My friends Hoshi & Yuanie cosplaying as Vocaloid Rin & Len respectively, and I'm not cosplaying nor am I wearing a wig! kekkex~ I'm their nanny for CF Day 1, accompanying them to the event and taking care of their belongings ^^

Decipher: Peachy legs wearing flat boots. Lolx~ I already expect myself to stand for 4-6 hours without resting so I gotta wear flats!
I thought that I'm rather underdress that day (am I not? ^^") apparently, I received a comment from some stranger "she's shouldn't be in here". My colleagues laughed at the statement and they told me to go up stage. hahhax~

Me & my colleagues before the event starts~

The Korean STARS!!!~ I'm only looking at 2NE1, Super Junior, Girls Generation (SNSD) and BEAST! (B2ST)
Though they look small in my pics, but in actual they look pretty near to us! And looks BIG in my eyes! OoO WOoooo~

Overall, I only love it when the bands come onto the stage and perform. Other than that, I'm not enjoying it. :\ Imagine we have to stand 4 hours at 1 spot (literally!) and we couldn't move at all. Plus i hate it when everyone takes out cam to take pics & videos of the stars. I mean, who the hell would look at your blur pics and unsteady videos? The cams and arms are blocking my view even though I'm like 1 head taller than anybody else (most of them infact, which gives me an ultimate advantage especially for standing concerts. Lolx~), so when their arms are up, I had to switch to looking at the big screen. Basket.
If its just taking few pics for like 20 secs, I find its still ok. But NOOOoo, they had to hang their cams in the air for the whole of 3-4 hours! I wish I could like use the lightstick to PIAK at the person's head infront of me to get her bring down her stupid chunky DSLR. Lolx!
Actually, I hit her and her friend few times on the head accidentally cos she keep moving backwards almost leaning on me as she need to bring up her BIG DSLR and I was like "OH YEAH, WOOOO, YAHHHH!!" *Puts hands up, wave lightstick, PIAK her head with arm* XD~
A young girl standing beside me was pretty high too and we both sing along to every of the K-pop songs. (She didn't take pics! Amazed!) I kinda felt there's this weird connection between me and her through-out the whole event. kekex!~ While on other side my colleagues who only know Suju songs, they kept taking pics & vids and shriek when Suju comes up. *Ouch my ears* =_=
Talking about bad concert experience.. This is like my 3rd time? =.= Sigh~ Wat's with all these youngsters???? Perhaps, I'm too old for concerts? >_>"

At end of the event, this tent still open for business. I ♥ the backdrop. It makes the tent look so classic and vintage. Don't you think? ^^

I saw a B!bigo Hot Stone advert on one of the postcard, looks nice! Anyone went before? =D I hope to try it someday! Na, Ah Ru, wana go? kekex~

Oh yes, never end an event without some unexpected souvenirs. hahhax~

Rachel K Mineral Color Control BB in Neutral $35 (less 30%): Bought it at watsons sales, Suntec outlet. Like finally sales on Rachel K, but to my surprise, no one is at the Rachel K shelf. My luck perhaps? ^^
Uniqlo Bowler Hat in light brown $29.90: So cute! I'm actually saving, refrain from buying anything fashion related stuffs, so I could spend more if I go Japan next year, but this hat is too lovely, I hope to wear this in Japan!~ ^^

When one mention Bronze, naturally one will think its warm tone. Compare to my other eye look (right side), Bronze Goddess appear to be of a cooler tone, almost towards greenish-grey. The Infaillible eyeshadow has this pretty glitters and gives off a smooth satin sheen when applied.
By the way, it looks much more pigmented if I use finger to apply them. Brushes doesn't pick up the pigments well.

Few weeks ago, I was invited by Elfaine from TSS for a food tasting event.
The place is at Creation Cafe @ Shaw Leisure Gallery, inside Shaw Towers. Shaw towers is along Beach Road.

When I went to Creation Cafe, I was trying to recall my old memories (I'm a forgetful person! ^^"), it seems that I'd eaten at this place many years back with my Polymates.. Is that store Creation? Hmm.. Or is it a store selling Japanese food? I only remembered that the store selling the food there was quite nice. ^^
However the location is not easily accessible. Although its nearest MRT is Bugis, but it still require you to walk about 10 mins from there to Shaw Towers. (See map below)
Probably most of their customers would come from the people from surrounding offices or students who goes to nearby bras basah complex to get their school stuffs, and drop by Shaw Towers for a quick bite at same time take a breather from the hot weather outside. ^.^

Creation Cafe is located at 1st level of Shaw Towers (Unit #01-43).

Before I start, here's how Creation Cafe price their menu.
SETMEALS EVERYDAY SPECIALS
Set Lunch only $9.90
(main course + soup + drink)
Main course = Western / Pasta (There are some food that has additional price (+) on top of $9.90)
Soup = Soup of the day (you can't choose your soup, but I heard there's this Carrot Cream Soup too! ^^)
Drink = Mainly soft drinks/hot coffee/ hot tea
Snackers (eg,Fried Calamari) = Not inclusive in the Setmeals
Look out for the addtional price (+) for the different Pastas that I'm gonna show you later. The (+) is to pay on top of the $9.90.
They have of course also Set Dinner, but I'm not going to talk about that since I'm eating the Set lunch ^_^"

Soup of the Day
First off, we're served with their Soup of the Day = Mushroom Soup + Garlic Bread
Mushroom soup was okay, it tasted almost like any other mushroom soups. Their mushrooms bits are very tiny, hence make drinking the soup easier. Its not really very creamy too, I kinda like drinking it. =)
On other hand, the garlic bread was hard. Though crispy but I find it quite hard to bite in. (Probably because of my TMJ also?) In addition, its garlic smell and taste was too light. I prefer those that have stronger garlic smell and taste enough of garlics, so much that if I had it, people back off when I talk. (lolx~)

I ordered COKE for my drink. And they added a slice of lemon to spice it up. ^^ Nice~ Coke just taste like our usual coke, so yap, the drink is great! hahax~

Carbonara
Before I ate this, I already heard all the rest saying that it taste good! And I must say, it does taste good, however I'm not a creamy nor cheesy pasta eater, I would prefer if this is less creamy. I like the ingredients like the mushrooms, bacon, sausage, all the chewy types of food. It definitely is the all time favourite and its also the chef's recommended pasta. But again, I want to emphasize, I wish this is less creamy! If you are like me, you'll probably would say the same thing. But if you are not, you'll be in love with this. ^^

Seafood Spicy Crabmeat (+$4.00)
This is another creamy base pasta. It taste sweet and creamy with a little bit of spice in it. I can take spicy stuffs so this spice level is nothing to me, really. And mainly cos of the sweetness, it had also totally covered over the spiciness. Recommended for those who can't take spicy food but yet wish to try something like Chili Crab.(^w^) I love to eat the Crabmeat however its hard for me to use fork and spoon to scrap off the meat from the hardshell. :\
This pasta also has big prawns and alittle bit of other seafoods in it (not shown here probably cos I'd eaten it). I had to say I love eating their prawns cos they are big and juicy! The prawns are also peeled, so it makes it easier to eat.^^
Ahh.. I feel hungry again now while writing this T_T The ultimate torture of doing food review..

Seafood Java Curry Sauce [NEW] (+$1.00)
I had to apologise first for this ugly looking pic.. lolx~ Everyone had transferred the pasta to their plate, hence the leftover looks like this.
This is again another creamy base seafood pasta.
There are the big prawns (yap, that's the one I like! Chewy~), mussels, and sotong. Someone from our group mentioned the word Green Curry while I was chewing my food halfway, immediately my brain signals the information to my tastebud. Indeed, it tasted so much like green curry! Perhaps thats the reason why its new on the menu, the chef must have explored further by using green curry instead of the normal curry we eat, hence Java Curry Sauce was born! ^^ I love the green curry taste as I'd always liked eating it at the Indian stores, with chicken in the curry.
This pasta though taste as nice as my fav green curry, but because of its very creamy base and it tasted rather sweet too, I got kind of sick eating too much of it. But we heard from the chef that their all time favourites are mostly cream base pasta! (OoO")

Seafood Laksa Cream Sauce (+$1.00)
I went, "OH NO..." when I see another Cream base pasta.. Lolx~
No further introduction to its creamy taste, it tasted all about the same as the above 3 pastas. And the ingredients are also the same.
Just that this time round, the taste is like Laksa. Yes, its taste is almost similar to the Laksa that we normally eat, but less the spiciness, saltiness and plus the sweetness. ^^

Mushroom Risotto [NEW]
Another new item in their Menu. Previously there was no Risotto on the menu, this time round, they added 2 Risotto in it. The other one is Seafood Risotto.
When the rest said 'Risotto', I went "Huh? Mee Soto?" *Starts imagining Mee soto pasta... Yum~*
Then a plate of what seems like creamy white rice with bits of mushroom and vege was placed on the table. I stunned for a sec, while the rest was laughing at my "Mee Soto" statement. Lolx~
This Mee Soto Risotto is also a cream base pasta (I believe you'al got eyes to see that..kekex~), its made with the main ingredient, Japanese pearl rice, mixed with mushrooms and bits of other vegetables.
The rice for this Risotto is alittle too hard. I love eating rice, and I can tell this rice was not cooked with the right amount of water, hence, it really felt like its uncooked rice. If its the nice chewy with alittle moisture type of rice, I believe I'll like to eat this dish, but again would like it better if its less creamy. The cream is as its usual, thick and creamy like the other pasta so I wasn't able to even finish up another spoonful of Risotto. I had felt really full eating 5 dishes of creamy base pasta.

Here shows the 2 big plates in the middle and we're eating on a smaller plate. If you were to eat their Lunch set, you'll be served with the big plate, but lesser the portion. ^^

My overall review of Creation Cafe: I would probably not going to take another plate of cream base pasta BUT I would definitely want to order a plate of Seafood/ Chicken Aglio because it's also Chef's recommendation plus its a spicy food (Menu shows a chilli logo beside the dish name).
And, I love the COKE. lolx~
I would think that even if I like eating cream base pasta and like it if its VERY creamy/cheesy, I would still prefer if the taste can be alittle bit on the salty side. Because all I could taste for the 5 dishes was creamy and sweet. There wasn't much other taste like salty, bitter, sour nor spicy.
Sometimes I would also eat very cheesy stuffs if it has a good mixture of tastes in it, otherwise, it'll make me tired of just that 1 taste.

To end with this food review, here's a bag of The Wooden Spoon Cookies! (also given by Elfaine from TSS)
I am SOOOoo loving these cookies! It tasted really like Grandma homely made cookies! (as per what we'd heard, its really made by a Grandma ^^)
Inside this bag, there's chocolate & raisin cookies. I am a person who LOVES chocolates and HATE raisins. Lolx~ So I pass the raisins to my friends to try, and they said not bad at all! But they tried the chocolate ones and they say chocolate taste better than raisins. ^^

The cookies aren't as sweet and not as buttery if compared to Famous Amos chocolate chip cookies. I love eating Famous Amos as well, but this one's alot better! As said, I don't really like to take stuffs thats creamy so its same for butter as well. Cookies that has alot of buttery taste, I'll get sick of the taste quickly. Hence this one gets me addicted! I just can't stop popping the cookies into my mouth~ ^o^
The Wooden Spoon cookies are less buttery, less sweet and taste more of its ingredients. I totally dig it! I am so gonna order like 80 pieces of it for my upcoming BD celebration to treat my friends^^. And believe or not, I'm just gonna order all in chocolates. hehehx~ Cos I'm the BD girl, I buy what I WANT. hohoho~ =p
