Instant Brightener was introduced by Na and so I got this ZA True White Plus 2-way & Instant Brightener Pack since I never try their 2-way before, I'm eager to know how good they are, as I always hear from friends that they are very good! Even for many cosplayers they used ZA and they find that it makes them look flawless hence the recommendation continues and makes ZA 2-way the best selling foundation! ^_^
Currently, I'm using the Instant Brightener mixing it with my other liquid foundations or BB Cream. It give me a nice sheen when lights shine on my face. hahax~ ^.^
A comparison between Vichy and naive cleansing foam! ^^ I find Vichy leaves my skin clean but rather dry, so I don't use it very often. naive on the other hand is not as drying as Vichy but has a very minty scent and feels minty too when applied on my face. It stings my eyes real bad if the foam gets near them.
Other random Buys:
- Silkpro Hairfall Control & Oil Control Shampoo $14.50 for 2: Used Oil Control one, it feels really good and volumnized in the beginning but after using about 1-2 weeks, my scalp itch alittle. :\ Then I stopped using as I bleached my hair, not appropriate for me to use this shampoo for time being.
- b.liv Off with those heads $69.95 (-20% @ Guardian): Repurchase! More like, first time purchase! Hehex.. I was given this by cellnique for review and trial purpose and it was really really GOOD! that I had to get it again to maintain and clear off my black heads! Read my b.liv review HERE
- Kate Eyeliner $19 (-20% @ Watsons): Upon looking at Diana's Watsons Haul vid, I just gona get this to try too! Its for the tightlines! Interesting eh? =D
- The Body Shop Bath Lily $??: OMG i forgot the price.. hahhax~ ^^" Anyhoo, its not ex, rather cheap to get it. I like how soft these lilies are! It foams up well and it helps to clear the pimples and spots on my back (hard to reach places!), by exfoliating the deadskin and dirt from my back.
- b.liv Shrink and Tighten+ serum $69.95 (-20% @ Guardian): First time getting! I previously used Shrink and Tighten only and could see the results of shrinked pores on my cheeks and nose. Hence trying out the + one to see if there is a difference between both. ^^
La Roche-Posay EFFACLAR A.I. Targeted Breakout Corrector Review
After my first purchase of La roche-posay, I start to get more of other items from this brand ^^
This time I bought EFFACLAR A.I. Targeted Breakout Corrector $33.90 as my skin suffers from bumps alot lately. I had thought that it is not caused by the products I use because at times, the bumps just disappear for few weeks and suddenly reappearing again even though there was no change to my skincare routine. *Sigh~* At current whenever I have itchy spots on my face & neck, I will apply this corrector.
It has a soothing minty feel. When I apply thickly over a pimple/inflammation, the lotion will dry up after few minutes (if you don't touch it) looking like smooth dried translucent white glue on the surface of the skin. And when I rub it, it shreds and forms dry white residues which I can easily just sweep it off from my face. The area which I applied the corrector will then be soothed and redness or inflammation will be calmed.
Purchases during shopping with Ah ru ^^ + Caudalie - Vinosource Quenching Sorbet-Creme Review
Etude House Eye Countour brush $9.90 (-20%)
Etude House Gingko Lip Patch $3.90 (-20%)
Caudalie - Vinosource Quenching Sorbet-Creme 40ml $49: Through Ah ru's recommendation, I decided to get this instead of Benefit's face cream which I initially thought of getting after reading Mag's post. I went to and fro swatching the 2 creams and find that the after-feel for Caudalie cream is not oily as like the Benefit's. It feels more like a watery lotion-cream than a Cream-cream. (understand? kekekx~ ^^")
After using it for few weeks, I am in love with it! <3 Now I understand why Ah ru keeps going back to purchase their products! hahax~ (Let's buy together next time! XD~)
The cream feels very lightweight, slightly cold (I didn't put it inside the fridge oh!), watery like a lotion-cream, yet alittle spongey like a...spongey foam? ^^". Very easily spread out onto skin and easily absorbed. While massaging the cream on my face, it immediately quenches my 'sick & tired' skin (Yes, SICK is the word for my skin at this moment.. hahax~), making it feel full of moisture within. I feel that the water and all its goodness are all locked underneath my skin immediately.
One main reason that I'm loving it even more is the after-feel! It is not only non-greasy, it also gives me a non-shiny face! Usually, for any lotions and creams that I use as the last step on my face, will definitely gives me a shiny face which I then need to blot with tissue paper so it won't make my face looking like an oil pan on the next day or oil-transfer onto my pillow when I flat face to sleep.
When I say non-shiny face, you might think it gives me matte face but NO NO. Its just non-shiny that's all! ^^ And definitely, NOT drying! It is supa moisturising for me. (#^_^#) Just like the Koreans always say, "Chok Chok!" *finger points to cheek and rebounce* (Moist moist ^^)
Loreal Paris Smooth-Intense Shampoo $9.90 (-20%): Due to my Supa dry frizzy bleached hair, I need a shampoo rich enough to moisture the hair and this Shampoo works nicely for me. At first I tot its like using honey to wash my hair cos of its colour and texture but hey! It DOES feels like washing with honey! Though my hair is really dry but I still got oily scalp, and this shampoo doesn't dry up my hair after washing, it still remains alittle silky even before I start putting on conditioner unlike some immediate gives you tangled dry hair after wash. It also doesn't itch my scalp (for time being..). ^^ I really recommend those who has dry hair to try this shampoo!
Loreal Paris EverSleek Frizz Taming Creme Serum $19.90: First time using a Cream serum treatment for my hair. I always been using either water spray or oil serum. My experience using this is not really a good one as everytime I apply it on, my hair feels the same like as if I never applied anything! And when I start to give up and just let it be for half hour, my hair got tamed! It doesn't make my hair as smooth and silky as like the oil serum does but it does tame the frizzy ends yet, still maintaining the volume in my hair. If I use oil serum, my hair will immediately feels silky but very flat. <_<
I will be doing a review of this Creme Serum, in comparison to a Oil serum. So do watch out for it! ^^
Lastly, Coastal Scents buy! With help from Na. Hmmmm... how much? Sorry I forgot again! >_<
Silica Powder Spheres (Basically Silica powder ^^") and Boron Nitride 16 Micron. If you do not know what they are, check them out HERE.
Till then! Cheers! (●♡●)
